Wonderfully done, James. Relaxed and casual tone but without coming across showboaty or inauthentic (which isn’t the easiest thing when making a video about your V12 Ferrari). I like the longer form and “less reviewy” videos being able to take their own feel on the second channel.
Thoroughly enjoyed this one James. Loving this format and how you can deliver this style of content without diluting the excellent output on the main channel
Hi James. I like this format! I especially like seeing updates on your cars and understanding the cost of different things as I may jump into the exotic realm someday. Cheers!
Really like this format James. Relaxed style of presenting and explaining cost of servicing etc. Perhaps you can do more vids on the Scud? It’s truly an exciting car. Cheers.
Good easy listening format. Chat with Anthony went on a bit, just same scene, not so much chat itself. I like the nuts and bolts and behind the scenes. And the reality of owning stuff like this
Great video James, always enjoy a video about the true experiences and ownership of a car. Too many You tubers have a press car for a few hours in some exotic location and tell us how amazing it is without ever really experiencing real ownership with its highs and lows. Just one minor point Meridian Modena is in the New Forest not the South Downs and yes the roads are rubbish for driving around there.
Great vid James and Ant. Would be great if it was more personal and some of the angles were different from the main channel. Even maybe a different colour LUT on the footage. Wishing you all the success for the future.
As predicted a well put together and enjoyable video. One of my favourite reviewers on RUclips. Good luck with the new channel and look forward to more content!
Great channel James much more of a relaxing watch when you get the dashboard sort just get some microfibre drying towels and lay them over the top of the dashboard it will protect it from the sun my Sons classic BMW has the same problem 👍🏻
I had the pleasure to test one of these at an airfield this summer - what a car! The sound and the power was out of this world 😍 I own both a Ford Fiesta ST M260 and a BMW M2. Great cars. But the F12 Berlinetta was a totally different breed. It’s hard to imagine how you can get full pleasure of it on public roads.
I have to say that I very much like this format, with one niggle - I'd much prefer a conclusion where you tell us what the costs and decisions on what to do with the car were. I've never been a fan of cliff-hangers, and this is no exception.
In the end the decision was made to get the video out as I knew the car was going to be in for a while, and feedback on part one is going to influence how we shoot/edit part two
@@JayEmmOnCars Fair enough, and I figured deadlines were basically the reason, but I still tend to think a discussion of "expected costs/projected issues" would have given a little closure. Also would have provided a hook for the start of Part 2.
Wonderful new channel James super interesting and the shirts just get better and better ! Heaven knows where you find them. Possible new merch for the channel? Thank you
Like this format - helps with mine! Never know about the paint on the font by the ducts - have a similar issues but not quite as bad. Clearly need to drive mine harder
Great to see you 2 out near Whittlebury with 2 Italian beauties... I take it you weren't standing on the grass waiting for me and the missus to come past on our bicycles!! P.s. the missus did buy the 993 after watching your review.
Great content and liked the longer chats, would be nice to see them become more about the car world as a whole in the future. Great to see 2 channels now 👍🏻👍🏻
Like the relaxed tone of the video, but like others probably about 10 minutes too long for a second channel unless you were going in depth about something that needed the time. Still very enjoyable though
I would like to see everyday life in one of these. Just going about normal stuff like drive-thru, carrying four people from the train station, delivering pizzas, going on scout camp, commuting into city, visiting a mate. Really think about how people use a car everyday and don’t make allowances for the car. That would be fun to watch
The same FF that was sold to someone by Tom Hartley with the same issues still? There was a readers cars thread on PH but it got taken down as they were going through a legal battle I believe.
The problem you might find is that having 3 properly nice cars (4 with the QP) is that your enjoyment time with each of them gets smaller and smaller and not one of them becomes particularly 'special' in the longer term but all need to be used (as Italian cars need to be). I can see the 550 going down the track to make way for something different. Was tempted to do the NC500 in the Granturismo but then I did the maths on the fuel and decided against it ! Liking the content/format though James
The idea behind the channel you described at the beginning sounds good: I would have found the maintenances requirements of your F12 Berlinetta interesting on the other channel, but this is behind the scenes. You need a large income to cover unexpected eventualities with the maintenance. Perhaps you could explain why you couldn’t get a brand new Roma, with 4-year’s warranty and inclusive 7-year’s servicing as they are around £150K+ and you paid £175K. Maybe you can get a service insurance from Ferrari. Shmee 150 has his Shmuseum channel as well as his main one and is selling off multiple cars at the moment His Ferrari SF90 was around £400K+ according to the retail on Harry’s Garage last weekend going to the Isle of Man with a spider version.
I'm not sure you gave the South Downs enough credit! The A272 is often voted one of the most popular driving roads in the south of England. Among many other great roads, the South Downs is a very big area and even includes Goodwood. Meridien Modena is not near it though, and instead in the New forest. Which has an almost blanket speed limit of 40 due to being a national park/protected area. Meridien did used to have another garage, Milano mostly Alfa Romeo which was much closer to the South Downs in Cosham. It was a shame to see this one go.
That is one beautiful car, but, man, the maintenance costs and day to day running would just keep me awake at night!!! That said, you’ve worked hard, and have made a great success of the channel, so what better way to reward yourself ?❤
May I say that your very strict rule of a new car making things a little bit different is so ambiguous that almost any new cool car could fit the rule? 😂 really enjoyed the content and the format, definitely subscribed
Noticed multiple references to the Scud... did I miss you getting a replacement, or was this actually filmed months ago? Not fussed, just a bit confused. As an aspiring owner I always enjoy these real world "living with" type videos.

Whole video was good for me, but that won’t always be true. So the highlight of chapters and times to whiz forward too are massively appreciated.
Nice! Thanks for watching! Glad the chapter markers in the description are valued - we assume you checked them out?
I think the way you did this video is good for what i believe you want to do with this channel, and i enjoyed it.
The thorough description was perfect in my opinion. Nice to know about the fuel consumption so I can set funds away for that before purchase

I liked the end segment discussing the service & costs in more detail.
Nicely done James, to be honest listening to that V12 on full chat was enough, the rest was a welcome bonus!
Love the longer slower videos as it gives a chance to have more in depth discussions and considerations about the cars. Great!
I like the relaxed nature of these types of videos. More please👍😀

I would recommend getting a reflective dash cover for when it's parked outside - or a garage!!

Congratulations on the 3rd Ferrari! But the journey doesn't end here. You need a 4th. A cabriolet preferably a manual F355. 😁

@@sportzntouring yes, a wonderful machine and review.
Once you get the car sorted at the front definitely invest in PPF for the front and vulnerable panels along the car for a bit of piece of mind.
