Poco was an awesome band! May Paul Cotton and Rusty Young RIP!
This is a great song, that didn't get the respect or air time, I miss them so much. Nobody writes/plays music like POCO. I only saw them twice, and I treasure the memories so much. Thanks for sharing with all of us POCO fans.
One of the greatest, yet underrated bands ever!
For sure!
The melody makes me sad, but the lyrics give hope. I love the Poco steel guitar, especially in this song. A Certified Timeless Masterpiece!
Nice to see Timothy B. Schmitt with Poco before Eagles.
I thought that looked like him!
They were phenomenal
Beautiful song. Excels in so many different ways.
Rest in peace, Paul and Rusty.
Amen.
And Randy
Absolutely love it. 💘 One of my favorite 70s tunes
Great Band and song.
Thanks for sharing.
I just assumed in the 70’s everyone loved POCO
This song is incredible
One of the many "why wasn't that a hit?" Poco tracks. Maddening. They could have kept Timothy had they gotten a break or two. Heck, Timothy should have been dealing success from just his own songs
Keep on Trying
Starin' At The Sky
Stay
Find Out In Time
Plus he had lead vocals on a great track in Stealaway and Dominant vocals on what should have been an FM classic in Sagebrush Serenade.
Crazy Love would have been even better with a Timothy lead, though I was happy for Rusty, obviously.
Definitely one of their very best songs!!!!
such a wonderful song
Thank you for posting this! These fellas were brilliant!!!
Upon hearing this, it’s pretty clear as to why Henley and Frey chased down and netted Tim here. He was seemingly the perfect replacement for Randy.
Still...big shoes to fill. Randy’s high vocal was the icing on those early Eagles hits. God I miss him....
Amen to every word!
My wife and I sit next to our swimming pool and play music by Poco especially Indian summer it surely resonate with the lights the cool evening breeze it just doesn’t get better than that.
So good to listen to for many years😁
They sound great❤❤
One of my favourites ❤❤👍
Just a beautiful sound in every note
Got some wonderful memories listen to this song Poco one of my favorite bands
Love this!
Wow So Beautiful!!
Wonderful footage! Just needs to be slowed down ever so slightly. I fixed it in my own program by slowing it to 0.95x
Superb
Musical bunch of fellows!
The drums are Slingerland, with a Ludwig tom mount.
10/10 song
the best the best the best the best
1977😭
Yum-yum
Once Glen Frey impressed about their voice
He also said that he wanted Timothy because he replaced Randy in both groups and sang the same parts.
Poco had so many great songs, it's a shame they weren't more well known.
@@jerrythompson5967 very well said sir🙏👍
@@jerrythompson5967couldn’t agree more
Better than the Eagles. Love these guys . From the start
