“And me” was fantastic.
Much bass, such humble.
Can't wait to see you with Porcupine Tree, Nate!
what do you mean?
@@salsabilahmedshrestho960 Nate is going on tour with Porcupine Tree in place of Colin Edwin. Randy McStine is doing what John Wesley used to do. Should be exciting!
@@desrj wohh, I thought it was gonna be the last bassist steven had touring with him. That's really an achievement to work with them.
@@salsabilahmedshrestho960 Nick Beggs would be an obvious choice but he's got other commitments, I think he said. As does John Wesley. Nate is up to the task, anyway. Should be awesome.
Saw him tonight in London👍🏼
Outstanding review. Nate gets it. Most folks want to hear the same pattern played over and over while knobs are turned and switches are pressed. Tinkering is what many do. This is the way.
Nate… you’re awesome in so many ways. It comes through in your videos. Just an all around good human. 🙏
Your demo videos are so good, Nathan. And your playing... Sheesh!
Thanks, Kristoffer! :) Glad you enjoy them.
@@NateNavarro you were amazing with porcupine tree in Copenhagen, such a nice tone and super tight, thank you!!! It was way too easy for you
Best pedal review I've seen in a long time. Insane gear, and of course insane playing! Thanks for making this!
That is some truly awesome playing.
Great video as always Nate!
Fantastic demo Nate! Killer sounds \m/
I bought this pedal… it had a little bit of a learning curve to it but once I got it down I can’t get enough of it! It sounds so good. The options are limitless.
Their best two drives, in the best pedal format they've designed. 🤘 Perfect. Having presets is a great direction for DG as well, we spend a lot of time copying settings from vids like this to get in the ballpark when we first get these complicated pedals.
And the parallel routing of the microtubes X lineup! Mint.
That techno riff was amazing!!
Slappin’ The Bass!! 😎😎🎸🤘🎸🤘, @Nate, it sounds amazing!! I love the raw gritty, aggressive tone you can get with the pedal!!
Sounds amazing. Thanks you, for share diferent options for impruve our sounds.
Another Demo by Nate!
Me: I just need to buckle up and prepare to be amazed by his awesomeness skill on bass!
Btw! The second bass guitar is amazing
Saw you last night in Toronto Nate you guys sounded EPIC! 🤘🏼🔥
Amazing performance yesterday at the Rudolf Weber Arena Oberhausen!! ❤️💪
My favorite bassist, your slow chugs 👌
Nate - Saw you tonight in Milwaukee. Great show!
Omg that fretless part sounds awesome
YAY FOR NATE THIS SOUNDS GOOD
Is there a playlist of the riffs used here? I couldn't help but head nod to these amazing riffs. I'd like to enjoy them indefinitely if possible.
that's some nasty stuff on the Ritter fretless. Love it!
Wait...Nate I thought you were a "Sick Player" too? 😉 Nice job and congrats on the PT gig! = Brent, VT
Nasty Nate ..Nasty tones
I loved!!
Amazing show in Dallas brother!
Thanks, man! 😁
Hey Nate!
Thanks for your awesome work and absolutely amazing book of bass - It has helped me tremendously!
I was wondering if you could make a video or post about your Kiesel Zeus bass? I am thinking about making and buying one (through the builder tool). I was wondering what the specifications are on your bass? It sounds massive! I know you got it in 2019 or so, and I'd love to hear all about it
Incredible. Need.
See you in Chile Nate 🇨🇱🔥❤️
Nate can you please do review of that Ibanez EHB1506 you’re reviews are my favorite I’ve seen
Awesome sound very love
I’d kill to see Nate play an old style six string bass like the Fender VI or the Eastwood Hooky VI
He's back!!!
Love your vids and I envy your dexterity :) Which one would you say, Nate, is the most versatile between the Adam, Infinity and AO Photon?
Darkglass, guys, we all love you. You've revolutionized modern bass tones and you've made sounds that used to take a full afternoon in the studio available in a single box... but come on. The same thing repackaged over and over again and updated before you even properly use the old one is getting kinda old
You seem to have missed the point entirely.
That why you gotta go with Tech21
@@JackCarver10 The point being...? I own 4 darkglass pedals so I'm a pretty big fan. What am I missing here?
@@furtivegold8727 Had a sansamp for 2 years, the move to darkglass helped my sound in several ways
@@ileutur6863 I don’t know. I was drunk as a skunk, sorry
Totally Green to bass here Nate Wow ! You are fantastic , i want to be at 25% of this level in a year ?
Sick players and me?? Nate you are way too humble for a player this good.
this is amazing! i was wondering if you could do a cover on boyfriends and the social house on the 4 string bass by any chance?
Fantastic
1:38
For people who want to listen to this groove again an again (like me)
You welcome
1:15 - I have the EHB1505MS and I love it.
Is there any way to change the multiband frequency crossovers or is that only in the suite?
Sick tones! What strings are you using on that fretless - DR Black Beauties?
That intro is literally Eye of The Beholder in Modern Metal form haha
shhhhhhhit i don't believe that so amazing
Hey, could you make a head to head comparison with ADAM please?
If you have the Alpha Omega Photon, is it worth buying this?
Is that Ritter Bass new? Hadn't seen this one yet.
This is the equivalent of somebody releasing a gain stage pedal, a treble EQ pedal, an upper midrange EQ pedal, a lower mid EQ pedal, a bass EQ pedal, a distortion send auxiliary pedal, a compression circuit pedal.... then finally - VOILA, a channel strip in an "all in one" pedal
in 0:13 can you have the same tone with a darkglass microtubes b7k ultra v2?
So the same as the ADAM and Photon, just other voices...AO still my fav DG tone. Now if those who have a ADAM or Photon, can he download those samples???
Great demo, Nate. What is the final bass you used in the video?
Thanks man! That’s a Wega 5 Multiscale by Franz.
Can it be powered by USB or does it still need power?
the pedals cool but sir your playing is incredible
Wuts the difference between Φoton and ADAM? just the distortion circuit emulator?
Φoton is the Alpha & Omega circuits, ADAM is something else.
What Ibanez Bass is this ?
1:40 what fretless are you playing here? I have to know, it looks and sounds so cool!
Jens Ritter R8 Singlecut.
"Some sick players and me" :D I guess it's not cool to be sick!
Is the Darkglass mobile App still so bad?
U PLAY BASS ND U'VE GOT A GREAT BARITONE VOICE
Doed it have a tunner? Because that infinity would be the only thing I'd need to tour if it has a tunner
Indeed it does. :)
Here's some info from the Infinity's Manual...
To enter the tuner, press 0 and +∞ simultaneously.
To exit the tuner, press 0 and +∞ simultaneously or one of
the footswitch presets. The Microtubes Infinity will always
return to the last active preset. The Microtubes Infinity
will not output any audio when tuning.
The Microtubes Infinity features a five-octave chromatic
tuner, which can tune any note between A0 and A#5,
allowing you to dial in any guitar or bass tuning that you
desire. The tuning is derived from A4 = 440 Hz. Only one
note can be tuned at a time.
When the tuner mode is entered and there is no input
signal, two red LEDs on the two rightmost sliders are
shown by default. When an input signal is received, the
left section of sliders will update to show the note that
you are tuning.
A small indicator is displayed to the top right of the note
if it is a sharp note.
When tuning, the two rightmost sliders will update to
show how close your tuning is from the note’s perfect
pitch. Distance below the center line indicates that
the note is tuned flat, and distance above the center
line indicates that the note is tuned sharp. The red
LEDs will transition to green as you approach the
perfect pitch, and the slider and preset LEDs will fully
illuminate in green when you are on perfect pitch.
@@NateNavarro well that did answe my question haha thanks man, I'll definitely save money to buy this
I want everything you plug into NN but I know I’ll still just be meeeeee 😭😭😭
Wuzz up Ian!!!! Cool to see you here showing some luv!!!
😍😍😍😍😍
Unpopular opinion: Djent is just jazz music with metal distortion pedals 🤘🤘🤘
Does it has a tuner like the Photon?
Yep. It has a built-in tuner. Me want, but ouch at around $600.
@@eyeofbass after tax I paid $666 😂 I got it on zzounds. It’s such a bad ass pedal. Took me a little while to figure it out. Definitely have to look at videos. There’s a fucking app for this pedal dude! Syncs to your phone that’s just crazy to me😂😂😂
Where is the X in that ?? Okay you can use HPF and LPF but it is the B3k that is supposed to replace the X drive ??
The X circuit is basically a B3K with multiband compression. You can dial practically the same tone of the X pedal if u split the signal of a B3K and thats why this is featured with a classic B3K and a B3K with multiband compression.
@@nckSEVEN794 yeah but if it is not the extact same thing you can't say it is in the unit xD. I dont know why they call that "multi" bands compression, because they just put compression on the low. It is not like different compression on different frequencies. This brand start to fall off their place imo
@@nckSEVEN794 idk, I had both pedals and their drive didn't sound similar. The X had a more compressed and clean low end with unpleasant and shrill highs that I could not tame, unlike they B3K which saturates more evenly
why does overly compressed sound sounds so disturbing? like it almost gives me dizziness and sickness, is it because it sounds like your skull pressure is too high lol
p.s. some dope tones outa that thing
Legal. Top
I'm a big fan of nate and darkglass, and I've owned multiple darkglass pedals....but I just kinda feel like at this point they're just recycling pedals to some degree...like what's the real difference between this and the Adam. There's only so many ways you can skin the same cat.
If you put strings on an elephant turd, Nate Navarro will make it sound phenomenal..
ПАНК-РОК ГРУППА"АБИОГЕНЕЗ"В"ЮТУБЕ"И"ВК"🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
1:53 WTF was that ???
Great idea, but it all sounds artificial and digital… Wish I could get a genuine tube sound in a pedal.
Love your playing dude! But man, I didn't like any sound that pedal makes. You're better off just going straight into your amp.
Just wish you went slower mate, I mean Nate
