I live in the US and love Indian Restaurant food. Your channel has taught me so much! I now keep base gravy and precooked chicken thighs handy for quick week night curry. Luckily there is an Indian market about an hour from me!
Thank you Latif!
Even made your eyes water with chilli lol looks bang on
Yup
Only just found you on you tube absolutely brilliant made a few of your dishes changed my life as I love spicy food
Wonderful!
I love ❤❤❤❤❤ this channel. I have spent ££££££££ on ‘indian cookery books’ and the results have been abject failure. Every single recipe i have tried from this channel has been OUTSTANDING. THANK YOU.
Fantastic again latif.
You really should be on television
Love the one pot without base gravy..way I cook.
.keep them coming mate
Mark
Bless. Thank you for the support
Oh my days. Tried this last night and my wife and I agreed, this was the best dhansak we've had since our favourite restaurant/takeaway moved away 15 years ago. About 35 years ago that takeaway opened up and I had no idea what was what then with curries. The owner spent 30 minutes with me asking what I liked and served me a curry that was spot on, he said if you don't like this you can have your money back. The name of that curry......chicken dhansak. We've tried every curry house in the area but none of them could quite hit the mark. But your recipe has smashed it. Thank you so much for sharing this.
Love it when latif bhai says "right chefs" felt like a proper chef lol keep up the good work bhai ما شاء الله
Looks amazing, great series one pot cooking loved them all so far 👍
Thanks so much!
Love the one pot recipe series, keep them coming!!
Nice, will try this
Hey Latif! Dhansak is my favourite dish from home (UK) which I can't get where I now live, in fact most Indian food here (Germany) is of a pretty low standard in comparison to UK, so thank you for sharing your recipes here. Also very grateful for the one pot versions as although the proper restaurant method is very useful to see, I find myself more often than not going for the smaller portion size methods. Thanks for all the content. If I ever find myself home I will try and come up and try your food direct from the source! Cheers mate!
Oh yessss. One of our favourites. Loving these one pots, thank you for sharing your knowledge
I have made many of your recipes, really do love the one pot series. Thank you!
Oh that looks like a very good idea. Thank you so much ♥️

love these one-pots. I moved from Wolverhampton to Australia and there is nothing like a BIR curry here. These are great for making me feel at home
They're sadly lacking out here I agree.
Awesome recipe. It turned out delicious.

Fabulous mA just followed you! I can’t wait to try out everything! 🙌
Followed your lamb Rogon Josh video last night. Wow the results were fantastic. Love these one pot recipe videos. Keep up the great work.
Made this today, it was incredible! I halved the chilli powder and it was the right amount for me (1 tsp). Also used a little lemon juice as I didn’t have a lemon. This is a keeper! Thanks :)
Just made this and it was epic! Thank you 👍👍
Your channel is by far the best for Indian cooking. Keep the vids coming dude I'm learning loads. 👌

Dansak is my all time favourite, had it all over UK

Legend you raised my curry game bless Latif
Always delicious and informative
One tip for an awesome dansak is to pre fry the yellow lentils and let them burn a bit. Great n easy to follow video again, thanks, always learning
It's rather spicy but tolerable Latif. It has lovely flavours and the family loved it too!😊
Latif , Hi ! You are a legend. What an amazing dish . JOY..😃👌🖐🖐

Great dish again Latif. Loving the one pot series. Keep up the great work

@@LatifsInspired What size pan do you use for these one pot meals?
Quite like those round sides pans. Whatever they're called. They look pretty cool.
That looks so delicious. I'll make it for lunch today with duck meat. Thanks chef!
Looks awesome!...making this tonight 😋
Enjoy
Beautiful 💕
Thank you so much. This is the one for me! Will be doing this evening
Wonderful!
@@LatifsInspired made it but I only had Chana Dal. Absolute winner! Thank you so much completely hooked on the one pot series they are just too good. Thanks again for the time and care you put in. Love it
Big fan of your channel, i have been a Chef for 28years love your recipes, one thing that surprises me that you use Saxa Salt, i use Maldon Sea Salt which is a more refined salt and it works out cheaper that saxa salt but you less in the food, try it you will notice a massive taste difference to your dishes, love your channel Kind Regards Kenneth
Made this last night as Dhansak is one of my favourite Curries, this was up there with one of the best Curries i've made. Really tasty and moreish. Cheers Latif,
Stunning Latif bro................ I kind of made an error other day, I took out a roast of beef (bot on sale £8 nearly 2kg) from freezer and thought How the heck do i turn it into a curry? Wrong cut of meat etc etc...... Day 1 I cooked it until pink (prob 20 mins less than advertised) and let it rest overnight in safe place, Day 2, I cut off about 6 lovely slices for sarnies yum and diced up the meat into probably 3cm pieces. Made my sauce and paste in one pan, added meat and spiced the bugger up to no end, my wife and I have just finished the 3 days we got out of it and this is the first time I did not use Any curry sauces! I just thinking about your method of getting the spices into the dish without burning and then let it bring itself to life, I think I even usd the same Pan as you lol............. It was stunning my friend; I know Beef is not of the menu but all we had in freezer that was on offer that day. Bravo Latif, my wife not a big spice(hot) loveer like me but I managed to find a compromise with a tin of cononut milk. Keep er lit bro, eventually i will have everthing in place to follow your recipes to a tee, Chris
The humble red lentil, we salute ya Sir! 👍
And you too Latif 🤣
It's been ever so difficult to get Coriander round where I live, what with the current shortages, but I'll be cooking this (for the second time) for dinner tonight. I can't wait!
I learned alot watching this, on my long journey to try and cook a good curry. Deglazing the pan with some boiling water after the onions is a neat tip, I was getting stuck on that. Look forward to cooking this, Cheers!
Cooked this morning, result.....mouth wateringly delicious! 😋😋😋 Lamb Rogan Josh next 🤞🏻
Fantastic,Pineapple in for me
Latif bites off more than he can chew.
That's the first time I've seen you caught out by heat, mate.
I'm having this for tea tonight.
Amazing recipe!! I'm sooooo pleased with the end result. I couldn't find the Kasoori Methi anywhere, though, but it's still great. Thank you, Latif
It’s also known as dried fenugreek leaves, got mine at Sainsbury’s,but Tesco also have it,comes in a box.
Mmmmmmm.
Great recipe, so envious of your gas hob, rentals here in Canada come with an electric hob, I’ve never cooked on electric before I moved here, I hate it, bought camping stoves so I do get to cook on gas
I. Love. To. Watch. You. Cook
i will try to make it hehehehe it is quite spicy, even for you chef hahahaha nice one
dont know why but whenever i get a dhansak in liverpool it has pineapple in and comes out super sweet. This is real deal.
What an amazing video chef, can’t wait to try this at the weekend
What is the name of your pan you use to cook latif?
Hi Latif. Only recently discovered your channel. Love the simple, straightforward approach, and all with ingredients you'd already have in your house! Tried this Dhansak recipe last week and was easily one of my best attempts at cooking an Indian meal to date. So good that I'm making it again this week again, but wanted to ask you would there be any issues with using tinned plum tomatoes instead of fresh tomatoes (it's too cold to go out to the shop). Anyway, keep up the good work, sir!
I will try it but with less spice 😜
I made it with chana dal instead of lentils and it came out very decent.
Dish looks deadly
Thanks so much for sharing this detailed recipe - which brand of spice mix did you say you use?
Made this last night and it came out really well and everyone enjoyed it. I will put in a bit less salt next time though
Great content mate, I've made a few of your recipies and always good. What type of pan is it that you use, a stainless steel wok type thing?
Great dish, I’ll give that a go with slightly less chilli powder. 🥵
Yes 👍
Just had a long chat with my wife about the pans you use. We can't figure out what type of pan they are, so she said... ask him !! So here I am - what are those pans you use. They are super-non-stick awesome pans !!!
Thank you chef. You're output has been crazy recently. I've still got base gravy in the freezer since you've been doing these one pot dishes. Is it possible to do jalfrezi as a one pot?
I love the one pot series, I've tried the pathia and it's lovely. Could I do the dansak with tikka chicken. Making the sauce then adding the tikka near the end to warm up just like a normal BIR curry.
One pot to rule them all
Hi I love your recipes especially simple ones without base would you happen to have a good easy chicken curry that would serve a few I'm planning on just using a whole cooked chicken and just strp it thanks
