Melanie Mau & Martin Schnella - Red Beard - Drum Playthrough by Simon Schröder

Red Beard is a song of Melanies and Martins latest record "Invoke The Ghosts" which was released in May earlier this year. It's a pretty straight forward and catchy tune which tells the legend about Barbarossa (Friedrich I.), who was the king of the Roman-German empire from 1152 until 1190.
Here I play a beautiful Percussion Kit from Meinl - I really like the different palette of sounds and the options it gives me for the acoustic music by Melanie and Martin. I could also just lay down the sticks and play with my hands which also gives it a totally different character - something that you might see in my next video with this kit.
