Very helpful! Is it possible to completely customize an empty slot with several effects? For example, if I wanted to create a good country/tele sound with a bit of compression, a bit of delay, and perhaps a wee bit of gain? Guessing it's doable, but haven't been able to find a good answer on the RUclips...Thanks!
Hi .. Thank you.. I’m guessing the easiest way would be to save a preset similar to the sound you’re looking for then once you’ve saved it into an empty patch you could add in more or take out effects as you please then once you’re happy save again and it will overwrite the current settings
I wanted to post an update after using the Zoom for a couple of weeks. First, You need to learn how to save a preset. Second, If your not using a dedicated guitar amp, but are using headphones or a pa, you need to go thru all the emulated speaker cabinets and turn the mic on and SAVE IT! Otherwise you will wondering "what the #$%^" is going on every time you try something. Third, There is another volume in the Settings Patch Save. Use it to set your Patch volume after you have got your sound right. I found that I had to set my clean sounds to a volume of 120 while the distortion Patches needed to be sat at 20 to balance out the volume - big difference. It has a realistic tube modeling sound and that alone makes it worth it. But, you need to set the modeling amps gain to almost nothing to get a good clean sound. The JCM 800 amp model sounded just like a JCM 800 cranked up. I was impressed. But it wasn't easy to get a clean sound like a real one was.
Oh thank you very much. I'm french and i didn't find a french tutorial but yours is very simple to understand now let's do it!!! Now i need to edit the effects on my new preset 😅. Hummm i hope i will find a video who explain that
Hi Ron I don’t think you can delete it but you can certainly just ‘overwrite’ it with another patch of your liking by doing the same process.. Good luck 👍🏼
Hi Ken: If you press ‘Settings’ then presss 2 which is ‘Patch’ that will take you to the page where you can change the name by using 1 to change the letter then press 2 to move to the next letter and so on.. You can then save the name you have chosen .. Hope this helps
Hello sir thank you so much for you tutorial,i have just a while ago and your video is the first of all the videos ive seen that teaches doing this, the others are only saying how to edit their saved effects.Sir im really new to this so please can you expalin me please🙏🙏how can i play for example in a song that have a clean tone part, and a distotorsion part how can i change it rapidly?its just really confusing for me,i have 0 idea about this..thank you so much.i also subscribe to your channel, again thank you.
Hi Juan.. The easiest way to change rapidly from a clean tone to a distorted tone would be to save a clean tone in user patch 50 and a distorted tone in user patch 51 so you can then just up and down the pedal to switch between them instantly.. Good luck 👍🏼
@@chango276 thank you thank you sir, just did it and its so easy..did you use batteries for your pedal?because i havent seen a cable for the electricity and it turns on,of you use batteries just like ur video how long does it last? And sir how can i erase saved effects?just recording for example on an existing effects for example if i have one effect in 52 and i want to erase It i will just record another one on the 52?thank you..
@@juanvalera7272 Hi Juan I just use batteries and they last quite a long time.. I don’t think you can erase a patch but you can definitely‘overwrite’ a patch by doing the same thing as you did to save the first patch.. So it’s possible to just overwrite it
Hi apologies I can’t help with this is it possible you have purchased a second hand unit? Maybe you could reset back to factory settings might help but I’m not really the person to ask unfortunately but good luck with it
