Hahaha I had a chuckle at the bloody fish incident. Hope you were able to get the blood out of the cushions. Good on you for sailing on and off anchor. It is indeed bad to run a diesel for a short time. I run mine for a minimum of 30 minutes to ensure it gets up to operating temperature and burns off any internal condensed water. So jealous you're in the warm desert. It's all ice and snow in canada
Yep, not our most graceful fish landing, but we did get the blood out! 😄 Thanks for the note on the diesel. When we start it, that's about what we do, too. I hope Oldman winter is treating you OK! The days are getting longer!
We do miss the forests and are heading north to Alaska via Hawaii this spring to get back to it! We will miss the sunshine here in Baja, but are also very excited to return to our home waters :) Thanks for tuning in!
@@SailingSeaDreamofClydeLooking forward to your voyage back to the Pacific Northwest via Hawaii a voyage I would like to do, but only after I get down to Mexico of course
Love your videos!! You're using your fishing reel upside-down. There should be a way to put the handle on the other side so you can use it properly. This isn't meant in any way to be criticizing you, just wanted to let you know. Opps, I saw that later in the video you're holding it the right way. Never mind :)
Cheers! The tip of that rod is missing the ring, so sometimes we have to spin it around to unwrap the line. Looking forward to upgrading some fishing gear, soon! Thanks for tuning in :)

Far cry from the rainforest. Enjoying the desert makes me wonder about heading north in April to Skagway. Good job kids

It's going to be a great journey! Best of luck on your trip to Mexico! Will you depart this coming season?
what type of awl grip is on your boat? Did you install the awlgrip? Cheers Brian
Hi Brian. It's called Tread Master and is apparently the original stuff that was installed in 1979! Incredible stuff. Cheers!
