This makes me want to play this game. I also would really love to see OperatorDrewski revisit onward with a ton of friends. Hilltop defenses in the game go insane when you have people who know strategy. Shooting range map is extremely underrated for impromptu games
2 pieces of advice. First, have someone on your team with a trip mine deployer. They are incredible valuable in some missions. You can wipe out an entire horde by c-foaming a door that they are behind so that they all pile up on it, place a single mine on the other side, and blow them all up at once when they break through, saving ammo and health that you’d lose fighting them. Your team loudout should change on each mission, but for this one, a mine deployer would have been incredible Edit: just got to the end of the vid and you did use this strategy there, but with a deployer you can use it many times throughout the mission instead of once with a pickup mine Second, never use auto turrets. I know I just said that loadouts will change depending on the mission, but there is never a time to use an auto turret. They just suck. Burst sentries are generally what you want to use, as they have good range, damage, horde clear, and, most importantly compared to the auto sentry, ammo conservation. There are specific times where sniper and/or shotgun sentries are invaluable, but auto turrets should be thrown in the trash and left there, always
auto sentries are not quite trash as they excels in staggering, meaning that they would aid pretty well when you have to combat hordes that will be very close to you. obviously, this usage is quite niche and consumes both tool ammo and gun ammo, rendering it rather inefficient, but it would be quite effective and even reliable if you know the deal and plan out well. I have done this for a few mission or two, not being confident but I still think this is something worth investing under some cases.
Him soloing shit was absurd, any time I see him in a hardcore or fast pace FPS I remember he isn’t just here for memes and scary games. He actually is pretty good I was impressed when he played doom and ultra kill
@@VannilaZero especially given that that was old GTFO, when there was no light at all other than your flash, the super flashlight (which woke everything up), and the glow of enemies reacting to sound.

I can feel you Drew, playing like two-three hours of this game really put a strain on the mental side. Was fortunate enough that I was accompanied by two nice randos from the official Discord but it was too much for us lol
When glow sticks get tossed down hallways, it just kinda melts my heart how cool it looks. This also seems like quite the task to undertake without any kind of cheesy knowledge of the mechanics or pathing. I like that what were seeing is your team actually TEAMWORKING to figure out how to accomplish said task.
Hell yeah, more GTFO content!! These are some of my favourite videos from Drewski; it seems like a super fun game. Here’s hoping for a GTFO console release (ik).
Teamwork oriented FPS games are awesome I loved that about Destiny 2 raids. We need more like this. Imagine a dead space like fps that required sneaking and synchronizing stealth kills.
A good amount of advice I can give probably amounts to experience more than anything, specifically stuff that surrounds stealth mechanics and optimal builds. A few tips I would give after watching this video is that the Bio Tracker gives a boost for the turret to lock onto enemies faster, HEL guns pierce through enemies, and melee is prefereble during error(small wave) alarms to concerve ammo. You had the right idea initially on the first wipe, with half the squad clearing sleeper rooms and the other half clearing error waves.
It wasn't until I read the title of this video that I realized that just like how I look for new games that interest me, there are groups of people that play games together doing the same thing. Very interesting to think about.
One of the best GTFO video i've seen so far. Well done. Just small thing, with the cell bug on check point what you can do: the one holding leaves the game, you replace him by a bot & then he comes back with the lobby ID. Therefor the cell is dropped & he hasn't it in the hands. I don't know if you guys will keep playing it but was nice to watch. & well done on the Mission ;-).
“My pulse is at 145, that’s soo sick!” Had me dead but I think a lot of us has been there before Fr when it’s intense as hell. Tarkov got me feeling like that sometimes 🤣😅. Never knew gtfo was this good and hard though glad you played n made a vid about it
I've spent hundreds of hours teaching new players how to play this game, I almost miss that feeling I had the first time I played it. Watching RUclipsrs play it for the first time makes me wish I was on their team.
Damn you definitely took your time doing this game. Possible one of the best team based hour extraction games ever. Edit: A few things I have noticed that might help (Especially if any new players are interested). 1. There is a distance to were the freaks won't aggro if you kill near them, after a few mess ups you will learn the distance and be able to speed solo clear to save time for you entire group. (it only takes a almost full charge to insta kill headshot the small ones, so you can get 2-3 for the time it'd take to full charge one small freakazoid. 2. You only have to STOP moving when you hear the sloshing thrashing audio cue. Them lighting up mean its starting to aggro, if they make noise STOP IMMEDIATLY. 3. Those tentacle freakazoids don't aggro aggro from noise, but if you make noise of flash them they will send out their tentacle things quicker. 3. Auto turrets are not for damage. I noticed they had like 2 or 3 at one point. They do minor stagger but don't deal lethal damage (Burst turrets kill) 4. Your gonna die a lot just relax and try to have fun. 5. The big guys are easy if you are good at your timing. Full charge attacking their body parts will cause them to "pop" and stagger them, doing this around 6 times will kill them without aggro if you are not inside the immediate aggro zone of the little one, other big ones will most likely aggro. (Headshots don't insta kill these ones) 6. When holding down the melee attack, it WILL automatically release the attack if your hold for too long. If you don't want to let that happen, right click (which is also a stun like move normally) to stop the attack. 7. The scanner is the most useless equipment out of all equipment options UNLESS you are doing a mission with high fog and low visibility, always try and take. (I know it looks cool, but objectively it just makes the mission harder not having a extra turret, c-foam or mine deployer)
I always just headshot scouts with the sniper from the otherside of a doorway. It'd weird how you can get away with not alerting half a room doing this. When I'm solo that is
Hard disagree with that biotracker take. You rarely need the extra c-foam/mine/turret, especially with how little tools get refilled per use (only 20%, as opposed to 33% and 15% for ammo). Biotracker is god-tier for low-visibility combat and stealth, error alarms with both forward and back constant spawns, and there are straight up enemies that will *require* you to have the Biotracker to be able to comfortably deal with. In a team with four tools, the extra power of another turret/mine/cfoam is rarely worth the refill usage compared to biotracker's utility. Knowledge is power and bio will make holding alarms and stealthing much much easier.
@@H56Nooc dude yeah, I don't understand it personally. But I must agree and we usually take a sniper for the mission we know have scouts. Otherwise they die from one full charge spear headshot.
@@squirrelfart275 man 100% the biotracker is essential SOMETIMES, other times just burst turret spam, my team has a pretty simple tactic. Lights on, light off, find them, kill them, we kill all but big ones (we kill all scouts that we have to) usually results in some restarts, but stealth and who gets the most kills is the way 🙏

It's been a really long time since I played GTFO, but one of the strats that worked well for us was putting turrets shooting cross-ways "in-front" of a seafoamed door. Point-blank turret fire with them lined up banging on the door.
You have the best gameplay videos of GTFO. Seriously, the videos are so well-made, the lingo your squad has, it's just wonderful stuff! Looking forward to more of this game from you!

God, i love this game... dont have a powerful enough rig to run it, so i have to sat8sfy with your vids and i love your coop. The best part is, it gets posted on my birthday. Thank you so much.
GTFO, this game, is underrated in every way. The scope of his story alone can hardly be put into words. It can be played in so many ways and can only be mastered as a team. And when you get to the point where you think you've finally grasped it, the real depth of the game is revealed to you.
GTFO is probably my favorite game, at least top 5, which is quite obvious with my 1,085.4 hours sunk into it. I always enjoy seeing people properly try it out, not just going in expecting it to be just another co-op shooter and rating it poorly cuz they didn't look into what they were buying and got frustrated, and seeing them spread the GTFO Gospel. However, I will say there are some in the community, like all communities, who are somehow oblivious to the fact that them hardcore back seating or spoiling every surprise ruins the excitement they had discovering everything. Thus why I always say that you don't want to backseat, i.e. telling the person "how to play", but provide coaching, i.e. teaching the person "the basics and fundamentals". And while GTFO is a game about discovery, there are certain aspects or mechanics that without a tutorial or guide explaining them, you will never know about the mechanic or at least understand it properly. Even after a 1000 hrs, just last week I learned that you can tell if a Security Door has an alarm on it via the map, as Security Doors that are represented by a dark red line have an alarm while a light red line means no alarm. So some coaching advice I'd give after watching a bit of the video is a couple things. #1. Scouts. You seem to have trouble with them. if you wanna be able to conquer C-tier or harder B-tier levels, you need to be comfortable in killing them. Understanding a Scouts 3 senses is vital: 1. they are nearly blind as a Scout cannot be alerted with the flashlight, but keeping it on a Scout, esp. something like the LR Flashlight, will cause them to send out their feelers. This can be used to keep a Scout(s) in place. 2. They're nearly deaf, only gunshots alert them. 3. They react via feeling movement/vibrations near them. A Scout will instantly send out its feelers if you walk or sprint too close but won't alert. Only hitting a surface or killing a sleeper within a few meters of the Scout will alert it. Scouts will alert instantly if a sleeper alerts within a meter of them. Dealing with Scouts silently with melee is a necessary skill to learn. If you don't feel confident with your melee, hitting the Scout with 4 globs from the C-Foam Launcher will freeze it for an ez kill. If you're comfortable, there are modded Rundowns you can download that are Scout training maps. #2. Melee weapons. All of the melee weapons have their own uses and strengths but out of the 4 the spear is sadly the weakest. The fact you cannot sprint while charging it is a major downside and it only has a few very niche positives: it acts as a good training weapon for killing Scouts, has good range, and is the only melee weapon that can safely solo Giant Strikers since its range is greater than the Giant's punch. And sadly the precision multi isn't worth it as it only brings it's dmg from 17.5 body dmg to 22.75 when hitting a head compared to the hammer which deals 20 body dmg. The hammer is the safest bet being a good all rounder with high dmg. Bat is the king of stagger with it's charged attacks being able to constantly stagger Giants. The knife is the king of stealth and combat melee as it gets a bonus to sleeping enemies, creates 50% less noise, and drains no stamina. This comment is already too long so I'll just briefly mention terms that anyone can look up to learn about: limb destruction and soft vs. hard stagger (this will teach you to stealth kill Giants safely), soft vs. hard alerts, clusters, perma-foaming, enemy scream and door damage global abilities, door funneling, back vs. head vs. precision multipliers, wave clear.... there's probably more I'm forgetting but all these need to be understood/mastered to succeed in the deep levels of the complex.
Haha, awesome job guys! I was on-edge with y’all right at the end! That was a great plan! Those new freaky big guys remind me of a mix between Sonic the hedgehog and a Halo Hunter, haha.

Your team loudout should change on each mission, but for this one, a mine deployer would have been incredible
Edit: just got to the end of the vid and you did use this strategy there, but with a deployer you can use it many times throughout the mission instead of once with a pickup mine
Second, never use auto turrets.
^This. Exactly this.
auto sentries are not quite trash as they excels in staggering, meaning that they would aid pretty well when you have to combat hordes that will be very close to you. obviously, this usage is quite niche and consumes both tool ammo and gun ammo, rendering it rather inefficient, but it would be quite effective and even reliable if you know the deal and plan out well. I have done this for a few mission or two, not being confident but I still think this is something worth investing under some cases.
they need to balance the game, Auto vs burst is just a joke.
auto sentries does excel at something, which is surge alarm, especially in r2e1 first surge alarm where enemies spawn right next to your room
technically you can use them on surge alarms but yk cfoam exists so
GTFO is a perfect coop game to play, the intense encounters are awesome
Hell of a place to spawn in. Jamie's reaction was hilarious and to real
I remember seeing Markiplier play this. Pretty much the only game I've seen him actively tryhard.
Him soloing shit was absurd, any time I see him in a hardcore or fast pace FPS I remember he isn’t just here for memes and scary games. He actually is pretty good I was impressed when he played doom and ultra kill
to be fair, have you seen how hard he went on those custom nights on fnaf? he absolutely tryharded those.
@@VannilaZero especially given that that was old GTFO, when there was no light at all other than your flash, the super flashlight (which woke everything up), and the glow of enemies reacting to sound.
@@VannilaZero soloing levels gets pretty easy once you complete a few hard levels i've completed rundown 1 solo

As a man with 500+ hours in this game, 1:04:09 makes me proud of you. Well done with the run, as well! It only gets better from here! 😇
I would LOVE to see more on this channel covering this game, and the super strategic gameplay that is included. It can be somewhat difficult to find channels that combine both focused teamplay and good entertainment for those that want more beyond it, and I find that your editing provides a really good balance between the two :D
I gotta say Drewski, I was literally just picking this game up finally bc i got some friends that wanna try it and i've had my eye on it for years now. You drop this banger and my hype is elevated
Maaaan. The memories. The terrifying, cold sweat covered memories. I don't think I've played GTFO since just after it went live.
I can feel you Drew, playing like two-three hours of this game really put a strain on the mental side. Was fortunate enough that I was accompanied by two nice randos from the official Discord but it was too much for us lol
This game needs so much more love, more people should know about it. One of my favorites
Your editing is so fucking good. The transitions and music with the spear kills are just *chef's kiss*
An hour video of gtfo? Yes please
Not a lot of games can bring in true co-op game play like this... and Op.Drewski and friends make it so that its a genuine experience through them
When glow sticks get tossed down hallways, it just kinda melts my heart how cool it looks. This also seems like quite the task to undertake without any kind of cheesy knowledge of the mechanics or pathing. I like that what were seeing is your team actually TEAMWORKING to figure out how to accomplish said task.
Would love, love, love to see this become a potential series. One of my favorites for sure
That was amazing, great editing and so much determination between the group. I'm so excited to get back into this with my friends!
basic hordes from alarm doors will always spawn 2 rooms from the door and take the shortest route to you
this is so intense. i went through a whole bunch of emotions watching this video start to end
Yey more GTFO. I really love this game. Im so proud of how happy their are after they finished the level
I would watch a 4/ 5 hour long video of Drewski playing this game, it’s a amazing
When the conversation progresses from strategy to memes and references is when you know you're just vibing. And also steadily going insane.
this looks sooo good - not sure if or when I will have a close knit enough team to play this with but added it to my wishlist
These gtfo videos are great. I can experience cohesive teamwork vicariously though them
"whoa my machine gun sights are sooo COOOL" - is exactly what a prisoner that got picked to go into this hellhole would say
Idk how to explain it but it feels like you are right there hanging out with them.
Well done! Thank you for allowing me to live vicariously through your gameplay as I would horribly suck at a game this challenging!
This would be the perfect opportunity for GTFO to do a 4 pack on sale like some older co-opers used to do!
That transition at 9:13 was really fucking smooth
i didn’t even notice until i saw ur comment
Never knew gtfo was this good and hard though glad you played n made a vid about it
Watched all the way through with this one, great work, that enthusiasm when you finally got it is contagious
I've spent hundreds of hours teaching new players how to play this game, I almost miss that feeling I had the first time I played it. Watching RUclipsrs play it for the first time makes me wish I was on their team.
bro really said "your team" knowing damn well i aint got friends
Editing on this one was top notch, well done Drewski
Just watching the gameplay is pretty intense. It really looks like the guns DO something in this game though, satisfying.
They do minor stagger but don't deal lethal damage (Burst turrets kill)
(Headshots don't insta kill these ones)
@@squirrelfart275 man 100% the biotracker is essential SOMETIMES, other times just burst turret spam,
my team has a pretty simple tactic.
Lights on, light off, find them, kill them, we kill all but big ones (we kill all scouts that we have to) usually results in some restarts, but stealth and who gets the most kills is the way 🙏
I really cant understand when would you need an extra mine or cfoam wtf
Hey, gotta say, i love your Gtfo series. I got no friends to play with, so your video really puts in the excitement when you play it with friends. Thanks man.
always fun seeing people react to an error alarm for the first time lol
friends became enemies. enemies became friends. hell of a run.
An hour well-spent watching Drew and his mates fool around with horrors beyond human comprehension for 10 straight hours.
I love how they just nickname the new enemy 'SCP' reflexively. Solid editing and great work to all of you folks!
It has a great atmosphere.. until you get to the point where everybody realizes that you can just run and jump around quick stabbing everything with knives for the most part.
I used to play this 1-2 years ago. I would constantly close the game when I opened it cause it would have a scream jumpscare when you start the game lmao. I would highly recommend playing this with friends!
Drew sometimes scans at the most useless times when all the mobs are already in their face...
It's been a really long time since I played GTFO, but one of the strats that worked well for us was putting turrets shooting cross-ways "in-front" of a seafoamed door. Point-blank turret fire with them lined up banging on the door.
The end made me smile so big once i heard "WE GOT IT!!!!" Good job guys and gals. ❤
Every time I see these, y'all's dedication to the completion blows my mind, hell yeah
I felt your frustrations lol. Makes me wish I had a group to play games like this :)
You have the best gameplay videos of GTFO. Seriously, the videos are so well-made, the lingo your squad has, it's just wonderful stuff! Looking forward to more of this game from you!
love drewski always pushing people to move. all my buddies freeze up and hold their ground till they live or die in every game. gotta know when to run and when to gun.
Jamie and Drew at 57:10 😂😂😂 ignored everything
I still remember the chaos that happened the first time I played gtfo with a friend and it is an experience that I will never forget.
"That just took 10 hours and 50 thousand tries and I still had a lower blood pressure than when I'm solo in a Tarkov raid" -Avyy
🤣🤣
GTFO would make an AMAZING movie ngl
16:03 that was really funny moment
Even within the first three minutes the editing on this video is just so on point, great work man
Is this game popping off again? I hope so cuz its so fun
Some of those moments, some of those revolver shots, SO CRISPY. What a good video
God, i love this game... dont have a powerful enough rig to run it, so i have to sat8sfy with your vids and i love your coop. The best part is, it gets posted on my birthday. Thank you so much.
that was such a good watch . dont think ill ever pick up this game but watching you guys escape probably give me more dopamine then playing it myself.
GTFO, this game, is underrated in every way. The scope of his story alone can hardly be put into words. It can be played in so many ways and can only be mastered as a team. And when you get to the point where you think you've finally grasped it, the real depth of the game is revealed to you.
that's probably the most satisfying conclusion to a mission that I've ever seen, that was awesome. Sheer willpower and determination!
Exciting editing. Captivating storytelling voiceover. Kept me engaged and invested for the whole hour. Fully deserved sub!
This is absolutely wonderful. I'm glad youtube recommends me this video, I have a great time watching it. Please make more videos of this game!
I love that you actually make GTFO content, such an underrated game
I LOVE THIS GAME!!! so glad youre covering it cause the player base really needs some more meat
Nah we dont need more people, just more dedicated people, I am tired of teaching new players and seeing them quit after a week
Been playing this a lot lately, it's my current favorite game.
Haha, awesome job guys! I was on-edge with y’all right at the end!
That was a great plan!
Those new freaky big guys remind me of a mix between Sonic the hedgehog and a Halo Hunter, haha.
Gods, I love GTFO! Markiplier got me hooked on the game, my partner and I have been playing for months now. This level was a headache for us, only 2 players with bots, so much pain and 7 hours of game play, never happier to win, hardest level yet. Props to you guys, this is impressive!!
Oh lord. I tried this game on Free Weekend with my buddies, and the whole time they could never get a stealth kill. The moment I figured that out, I became point man. AND BOY DO I HATE BEING THE POINTMAN IN THE DARK
My friends and I had the EXACT same reaction when the lights shut off, glad you guys are enjoying the game!
This is great content! Very engaging game play. Also great placement of subtitles and voiceovers. A tough mission indeed.
wathcing this 10months later again, cos I was sharing it to a friend to show him that he doesn't need Hollywood anymore for proper entertainment! I hate horror games but this is is so awesome to watch! I hope ya all will return to GTFO to do one final hardest mostest difficulty run!
