@@chrisi7127 hit and run aka "death by a thousand cuts". The goal is not to out right destroy or overpower the enemy (US's "Shock and Awe") but to whittle them down with both strategic and indiscriminate attacks such as Sabotage , ambushes, traps, petty warfare, and terrorism. The best televised examples are the Viet Cong during the US/Vietnam conflict, and Taliban/Al Queda/ISIS. The VC used the jungle to their advantage, hiding in the dense foliage that was filled with venomous reptiles as well as having an extensive tunnel network they could run to, setting sharpened stick traps covered in fecal matter that may not kill you outright but rather kill you slowly from infection, IEDs inside of dead animals to name a few. As for the terror orgs, pretty much the same thing, traps, ieds, suicide bombers, caves in the desert etc. Although the biggest thing to benefit Guerilla Tactics is the users are usually civilian men, women, and children. A government force couldn't tell who were the enemy until they were being shot at which has a detrimental effect on an individual soldier. Basically an individual soldier couldn't tell if some children were wanting to play marbles with them or trying to lure them into the sight of a sniper, or if a farmer on the side of the road with a broken cart isn't actually planting an IED. The simple fact the enemy was indistinguishable from the civilian population was a big reason why Vietnam Vets were treated so poorly by US citizens when they came home. The Vets didn't know who was who ("if They run they're VC If they don't run they're well trained VC") and just led to it being easy for GI to justify a "mow em down" attitude out of sheer self-preservation which didn't get translated to well when people in the US saw footage of the conflict, because to them GI were just killing innocent Rice Farmers and their families. As for the swede's, I can see how they'd still do the similar hit and run style tactics, but I don't see how they'd develop the same psychological aspect since it's still an actual military force meaning there is a uniform to identify.

this is awesome really cool to have these guys crews team up. very entertaining
Now I feel like there should be a full length feature film depicting the Vietnam war from the point of view of the Vietcong, including the obligatory scenes where GIs are getting ambushed and one of them says "Hey, friendlies west" and proceeds to immediately be ripped to shreds. And also a scene where a squad of kog shout towards a lone retreating marine "go home, GI! go home, GI!"
Just wanted to say that seeing the best gun of all time, the PPSh-41, in a Drewski video has absolutely made my day.
I've been waiting for something like this ever since you released your first DCS Cold War video.
The graphics arent that bad. Thanks for the awesome video! Been looking for a replacement for Battlefield Vietnam for a hot minute.
