I bought myself an electric pressure cooker recently and I love it!. My tummy could never tolerate beans and pulses so I had to steer clear, but after buying this and making some tasty lentil soup I found I could eat it without any 'side effects'! I believe cooking this way destroys the lectins in the pulses which can cause these issues. I love watching and listening to you Collette, your cottage and woodland is so magical and precious, thank you so much 🙏♥

I love making soup in my little electric pot. To fit everything I put it on saute medium or low setting for a few minutes till everything wilts down then put lid on and set pressure cook setting or soup setting depending on ingredients. That way I don't have to open to add. Works very well. I find that soup, being a favorite food, is so easy as it can be made from whatever is at hand, is so good and satisfying.
