Great video but you forgot one thing how to encourage crested geckos to eat bugs. I’m glad you said meal warms cause they’re more available here compared to the others. I like to hear how you do it to get the geckos to eat bugs meal worms roaches thanks.
number 1 reason I lost three cresteds over 20 years while breeding in those earlier years was not being able to mist them durring a heat wave, no water bowls and bam, dehydrated dying geckos. Never again, always a large water bowl in the bottom they can get to if needed.
Great video. I have 2 crested, 2 gargoyles, 2 leos, and one tokay gecko. Love the breakdown. Could you add on something about not having a thin ledge on the feeder cups. Too many dying from landing wrong and bleeding internally. I have my feeding cups at the end of a branch on the glass. They do do not need to jump to eat.
@@pamhouweling7141 I’ve actually never heard that before. Interesting though, and noted! I generally have my ledges touching a vine or branch so they can easily transition. Is it the edge of the hitting then that’s the issue? Or the ledge falling from not supporting the weight when they jump?
if you catch a bee, just turn it over, you can see it's little nipples on its belly and you can just squeeze the pollen out like milking a cow, you need a little bucket
In relation to geckos I have 0 idea what I’m doing. With that being said, my ol lady got ambitious after falling in love with my fancy pants leopard gecko, I’m now taking care of it lmao. Do you have an instagram or anything like that I could message you on for more info? Google gets too informational and confusing, and pet shop employees don’t sharpen their crayons often enough for my liking.
I have a mic, just not one I can get super close. Just uploading to spread awareness, not anything to over the top :). Is it the volume or clarity? I’ll try to work on it in the next one.
@@Zettysreptiles I get you. I just couldn't hear without turning my volume almost all the way up. It could be on my end. Edit: also I love your videos and what you have to say, just wanted you to know that.
@@bananafloat27 appreciate that! It’s most likely on my end and not turning the volume up a little through the editor. I’ll be sure to do that next time!
