That depends on the ambient temperature of your home! We would go no higher than 60w though, and this wattage should absolutely be used with a thermostat to prevent overheating.
That would not be due to the height of the enclosure. Rather, it would be due to a lack of decor in the upper areas of the enclosure. If there are plants or hides in the upper reaches of the enclosure, they are far more likely to sleep in those which would mitigate the risk of FTS since FTS usually manifests when sleeping upside down on walls.
I have a question what is the difference between the regular Pangea crested gecko food and the breeding and growth version bc I’m looking to get one and if the breeding and growth one actually has a difference then I will get it
Thanks for asking! The Growth and Breeding formula has higher levels of protein and fat from insect sources, as well as the maximum calcium levels recommended for a crested gecko. These differences exist to promote growth in young geckos, and to help breeding adults stay healthy.
love this n my crestie loves your panjea..got it at my local reptile expo...
Excellent Video
Thank you Frank!
What wattage is the ceramic heat emitter recommended for?
