「We're closed」に対して「We're open」にはedが付かないはのなぜ？

close「【動】閉じる」
We're closed「私達(この店)は閉じられた」→この店は閉まっている
open「【形】開いている」
We're open「私達(この店)は開いている」
この場合openは動詞じゃなくて形容詞ですね。
Open とclosed はどちらもこの場合は形容詞だからですね
We are closeっていうと、「近い」という意味になってしまうのもありますね！
日本語で「営業中です」「閉店しました」って言うのと同じ感覚ですかね？
開店しました、閉店中です、とはあまり言わないですもんね。
内容とは関係ないけど、マイクに偶に「チッ」と舌打ちする音、他の人だと嫌だけど、ケビンだと嫌な感じがしないなぁ
closedって分詞ですよね？つまりは形容詞的扱いだけど
openはそのままで形容詞
単語によって動詞と同スペルで形容詞や名詞になるものもあるし、分詞や動名詞にしないとなものもあるし
ややこしいですよね💧
アメリカの人は普通にやるよね。なんか違う文化持ってる人(ケビンはほぼ日本人だけど😂)っていう前提があると嫌な気しないかも
ケビンさんのようなネイティブな方にとっても、文法はやっぱり難しいのですね〜💦
この場合はどちらも動詞ではなく、状態を表す形容詞だからでは？
開いている = open
閉まっている = closed
そうではなく意味が反対なだけの形容詞になぜ片方だけedがつくのかが疑問ってことでしょう
@@yuka1217お二人は形容詞という前提ではなく動詞という目線で時制を変えた場合の感覚について話し最後にopenは形容詞かもねとおっしゃっています。なのでどちらも形容詞だとコメントしました。
形容詞の成り立ちまで言及するならclosedは過去分詞から発達して形容詞になったものだと習いましたが、じゃあなぜopenは過去分詞から発達した形ではなくそのままで形容詞になったのかというと分かりません。
are closedは閉めさせられている感があると思います。openは自分の意志で開けていて、closedはやる気はあるけど閉めさせられているみたいな。ウソかも😬
