I first found your videos back in 2011 and to see that your teaching hasn't changed tells me and all your followers there is no need to go to anyone else. Thanks coach for all these Year
Been trying to work on exactly this, keeping my eyes behind the ball. Have a huge tendency to move my head vision ahead and open up and hit a slice. Nice to see a video explaining it.
This really clicked for Renee and myself. At times I’ll get proper backswing but don’t let the arms fall before I try to deliver in the direction of the target, hence out to in club path. Awesome stuff, this lines up with your garage door analogy. Close the door on the way down.
I've watched your videos so many different times but it never really hit me until recently, specially the gather at top. Once I did that little pause, then start that fall on my lead side and KA POW the ball went...toward my intended target too. But it really started once I figured out how to use my hands and wrists, I was doing too much with the body and not the really speed generators. So thanks for your insightful knowledge and now I understand.
Another master lesson, Shawn. Mu's swing is so free-wheeling when he sets himself. I remember when he just muscled it out there somewhere. He now has a golf swing that repeats. The "Quiet Man" is a talented athlete/golfer--OK, Long Driver... 7-iron! ;>) Love to swing like that just once--and then wait for someone to help me to a seat. ;>)
Shawn. Interesting to see the tempo of your slower backswing versus the brisker Mu's. Many advocate the uptempo backswing to engage the body's athletic response to it. Your thoughts. Thx
This always is one of my biggest issues is keeping that damn head anchored. I feel ya Mu. I’ve had Shawn’s claws gripping my hat on a many of swings 🤣 . I think he pushes me xtra hard on the hat button bc after 10 swings I feel like I have a dent in my skull from his grip 😂
We have the foresight ones and recently, we have started working with Uneekor eye mini, same tech as Foresight but 1/4 the price and has super slow motion view of impact! Check out coupon code is WISDOM for free shipping!
Me and Renee are the same player! 6 handicap, but i was falling into my kinetic chain. This video is going to be a game changer (another one lol). Thanks coach!
And can confirm. Easily the best range session I’ve ever had. Longer I wait to finish the action the better on the longer clubs as well. Driver pause felt longer than the wedge pause. Awesome stuff Shawn.
@@golflessons I do have a question though, maybe it's addressed in some premium videos I can look at, I noticed your shoulders at top of backswing are more flat while Mu's are more pointed "at ball" . I can't argue against outcome because you both rip it but what would you recommend for the average "Joe's" or "Ryan's" in this case 😁🤓
@@ryancampbell4445 great question! And it’s my evolution! We established that Mu’s head in the downswing needs more tilt and stability; it will eventually bleed into his backswing and he will look more like me in a couple years! 😝😀👍
Hi Shawn playing really well since using your method of the golf swing . Still having problem with club head speed just using my body to swing . Is it me that you and Mu are also using your arms and hands to generate club head speed rather than just your arm .club unit .Keep up the good work . Dave .UK
Hey David! When using the weight of the arms and club to deliver the target bound action, the legs have to get engaged and this is what activates the kinetic chain reflex action in the body that we use for throwing, batting, hockey wrist and slap shots, Jai Alai releases, etc…the “throw the club straight shawn clement” video is quite awesome and the “throwing series” and the “kinetic chain facilitation and engagement series” are top power getters on our premium channel.
Shawn great video. I find if I focus on just letting my arms fall then I get late with core body rotation. For me, I need to start that rotation at the same time as the arms are falling. Is this ok?
It’s a must but also not something to focus on. Focus on the target release and sending the dandelion over the intermediate point. If you do that everything else will work itself out:
Another great task is to throw the club; see “throw the club straight shawn clement” and you will get the hips and arms to do what you want them to do in the downswing at the right rate and the right time.
Oh my! Please see “pulling shots left shawn clement” and then get with our premium channel at WISDOM IN GOLF PREMIUM.COM and see “alignment reload” and “blur of club” and the “arc-blur unstoppable momentum series” for starters!
To be honest, have not looked at your site for a long long time. If I may, quick question---are you saying that you should be aiming at the right/rear quadrant of the intermediate spot? Or that the club head path should actually track over that part of the intermediate spot, for a right handed golfer trying to hit a draw? How far ahead is it? Thanks.
Great Lesson. I have a friend who dips her head on the downswing and that throws her off balance, her arms are bent at impact. Do you have a video about fixing that? She tries to focus on the target at the end of the range but I think she defaults to the ball. She needs a new approach
Thanks Shawn for this great lesson ! For the ones like me who struggle with finishing their back swing, this will be a game changer!

Exactly! Because the human machine is still the same and the wiring is the same; we are just getting better at delivering the message! 👍😀

More of this - how to switch from release at the ball vs. release through. Thank you.
Beautiful!
Mu should just carry 7iron to lob wedge and a putter and he’d be able to play most courses lol

Question- are your shoulders closed or open in your tilt at address? It’s the one feel I can figure out
Closed for draw, square for fade

What machine do you use to see ball speed - carry etc?

😂 Mu the Canadian Bryson... "Stepped on it a little" 20 yards past my driver on best day lol
You guys are awesome
Thanks Ryan! It is very surreal playing along side of Mu😝😝😀🤣

Mu with a 249 7 iron 😮
It was a 5-iron 😅
Shawn, we dont' worry about the double digit swing paths? Just play the shape?
The machine must be broken. Mu just hit a 258 yard 7 iron.
It was a 5 iron if that makes you feel any better! 😝😝
@@golflessons ohhhh well in that case 😂. Mu needs to do a WITB video along with his stock yardages. Like the one Bryson did.
@@jdheelfan Actually would love to see this!!
Presidents cup coming to you guys?🎉
the last time my arms fell, i had to buy a new holster...
A little complicated
Agreed.
