The jury However, regardless of the clerk's wrongs, came to the ONLY conclusion possible. If there were another trial and another jury , Harpoop-lian would just start whining that there's no way to get an untainted jury at this point. HE is the one who KEEPS it in the public eye. @charankanoacarson8 3 месяца назад +1

I have not been watching the appeal until today...Ms. Hill was not a credible witness or person...I , by only hearing her answers to the Judges questions...led me to believe that what she did admit to saying and even what she did not admit to saying...was more of a rendition of being adament about some things and not quite remembering of other things...
Only when the Judge pushed her to admit, and rightly so, that ... as the Judge stated that the Juror knew about the Fb post from the assumption of the post being from the Jurors Ex- Husband , which proved to not be from the Ex-Husband..which should not weigh in on anything....the Juror stated that she did not know about the post until " Ms Becky, " told her about it on their way to seeing the Judge in Her Chambers...
And The Judge was adamant about that was the way it happened...Becky Hill admitted to that being correct...finally...
Or, at least that was the way I understood the questioning and answers between Ms. Hill and the Judge.
The fact that only one of the jurors admitted to Ms. Hill's words gestures etc... that led her... to believe Mr. Murdaugh was guilty...
As far as the others, Jurors were concerned...Why would they even want to admit or even at the length of time that had passed after the original trial... know that their verdict of guilty was of their own mind ... and was not associated with... a comment... or... the way it was said... or... eye contact on the Mozell visit...actually came into play ...as the jurors, WHO made eye contact with Ms. Hill at Mozell were actually... influenced by that,
" Eye Contact, " and added in with other things ...as in... " Pay Attention, it is an important day." Which Ms. Hill admitted to saying but stated it did not mean anything concerning Mr. Murdaugh directly ...but just Pay attention, in general...WHEN she said it... BUT...HOW was it heard by each Juror at the time Ms Hill said it..
Which...it is not necessarily WHAT is said but HOW it IS said?
UNDER most circumstances, to begin with... in most conversations ...it is the perception of the person hearing it ...CAN make a BIG DIFFERENCE.
It was a fine line...to walk, but Ms.Hill was not credible..
The bottom line was and is..
    What WAS said?
    HOW was it said?
AND...HOW was it interpreted ....by each individual ( Juror) who HEARD IT?
COMMUNICATION...should never have been on a
" Friend- like," bases at any time under the circumstances...Eye Contact should NOT have been made...
It seems like the relationship of Ms. Hill and the Jurors...should have been understood that it was a very STRICT and Structured bases at all times...Respect for one anothers duties should have been AS IN... walking a tightrope.
Under the circumstances of a murder trial.
I would have called for a mistrial...a new trial...should have been granted...but that is just my opinion...and my opinion does not have the merit that this Judge has...
The length of time that it would take to have a new trial... Should not have come into play, either...
Just making that point on my own thinking...
Is Mr.Murdough guilty... I think so...but there were questions at the original trial...that were not answered...
But the Gentleman that gave the closing arguments, I can not recall his name, not Mr. Waters, who was excellent but the final State's Attorney was spot on in everything he said and did...I was not surprised that it was a very short deliberation finding M. guilty...
AND...I think Mr. Murdough's Lawyer did a great job questioning Ms. Hill.
As did the JUDGE did a great job...
