This was very informative. I used it to guide me as I replaced my clockspring. Everything works like a champ now and I was able to clean out a bunch of grime around the steering wheel. Thanks!
Really great vid. Super helpful. Thank you!! Really kind of strange just how simple it ended up being...I expected it to be wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy more complicated.
Vlad I just wanted to thank you for making this Video I own a 2010 Prius and was still able to apply the same steps you used on this late model Prius. My New clock spring came from E-Bay with a defect so I am having to replace the Clock Spring a second time but hopefully I will have good news. I am posting your video too a Prius chat forum I am a member of since I have no plans of getting rid of my beautiful 2010 Prius ever if possible.
Glad the video was helpful and thanks for the support!
How did you dmfind the job on 2010 model, was it the same? Doing mine
A lot of "I guess" going on in this video. Curious if you had any problems later because you didn't mark the correct positions of the steering wheel and clock spring before you removed them.
I would like to see how you replace the window heating switch on the steering wheel.
Thanks for making this video , I changed mine in ten minutes !!
Lol, once again at one of your videos. My 133k mile Prius just had the intermittent windshield wiper switch start dying on me. I can hear the electricity make a static-y type sound when I use it. Other modes work fine. Was hoping for some type of solder fix but looks like might just have to bite the bullet and replace for $45 on ebay. Thanks for vid dude.
Thank you for this! I need to do some similar work on a Prius C, and it looks like it will be very similar if not identical.
Very helpful and informative walk through video . Thank You👌keep up the good work
Thanks Bro 🥲 you’re a G
Thanks for the video. Gotta replace the clockspring.
Thank You very much for this video. Really helpful and detailed video. Good job!
Thank you for the video!!!!! Helped so much!!!!
Hey Vlad. Excellent video! Have you had any of the “headlight issues” I’ve been hearing about? All of a sudden no lights or parking lights. But blinkers and high beam flashing works. So no night driving and Toyota wont help without thousands of dollars. Gonna try changing the switch as a first step.
Any other ideas? From anyone? Thx
Mike
Never had that issue yet. Sounds like a relay problem or harness plug. Goodluck with it, if you figure it out let us know. Thanks
Replace your flasher relay .
i need to do this on a 3rd gen prius, anyone know if its roughly the same? thanks !
thank ya sir, super helpful !! Just subscribed
I see it as a Full option, but I found a Dimmer switch, who knows about this, please tell me. Thank you
How do you keep it from flashing?
5:46 Hi bro is the part number 178832?
You forget to mark steering wheel mark on the shaft.

Mucho recorte de imagen de desmontaje y montaje, por lo demás está bien.
