Kaylee thanks for being my best plant friend that doesn't know I exist 🤣. You have been a great teacher and have kept me company on a lot of lonely days. Keep doing what you're doing. You are incredible.
she is great hey because of Kaylee I started collecting plants again after 36, I collected as a 9 year old then stoped at aged 11 now at 47 ive refound my passion for everything green pink white gold that grows. its so great sharing with others what we learn. as a hairdresser I do this all the time now with you tube I can do this with plants also, and seriously it kept me from going insane during the lock downs.
@@IamaKaliedoscope yup, exactly!! There are some Hoya that just become kind of washed out when put in direct sunlight but a lot of them get really beautiful sun-stress. My tricolor loves the sunlight!
The Caramel Marble….Comes out like an arterial bright red then matures to burst of autumn colours like orange, pink, green, yellow etc… just scintillatingly enchanting to look at
Hey there,Kaylll! I am one of you newer subscribers from the U.S. I LOVE your Chanel soooooooo much! I have been going back to "catch up" on all your previous videos and enjoy them so! I am a philodendron person, am 57 and have been growing plants since I was about 8 years old! I inherited my "green thumb" from my grandmother. I love your content and have learned a great deal...more over I love your personality and realism!!! You go girl, be you and do you....and for those that think you cuss too much....Fuck'em! And for those that hate...just let 'em go...as you do so eloquently! Well I just wanted to say hello and let you know that your content is awesome, and keep up the great channel! And I send you Best wishes for your business for 2022, and, if you are shipping to the U.S., I WILL be buying a plant from you! Take care....greg.
I've had two die in my care - my dog's tail killed one & the other was a victim of my 2 year old grandson... I will get another if I see them as they're gorgeous plants!
I’ll take a color changing plant over a variegated plant any day of the week! They are sooo fascinating to me and now I have some more to put on my wishlist.
I have a red moon and the new leaves are some of the most striking. The contrast between the bright yellow and the rich red is amazing. It does fade to a medium green and the red to an even darker green so it still retains a differentiation in color when mature.
Omg. I just purchased a Florida bronze and should be arriving today 😍 I had never seen this hybrid before and couldn’t resist lol so glad you mentioned it here
I was given a Philodendron lemon lime upright a couple of months ago and became obsessed ever since. The leaves come out really bright yellow and slowly fade to green, but the effect on the overall plant it so beautiful. Every time I look at it it fills me with joy. And it also propagates easily. If anyone is looking for a really affordable color changing plant, this is great.
I would add Painted Lady, it's maybe popular and cheap, but i love it! It appeal all yellow, then turns to green, and You have beautiful red as well 😍.
Umm...The "Red Moon" goes for 2k by me. So, she shall sit quietly on my wish list until further notice. lol Love this kind of video because it does bring out some other options that we might otherwise overlook. You're an awesome babe! xoxo
Florida Bronze is one I do want actually. I just gave my man my Florida Ghost bc he has more space and better windows. But I found a remedy for that for me and I will go forth and purchase the Bronze next time I see it lol🥰 Thank you for pointing out the sturdiness and rigidity of it, makes a big difference.
Philodendron whipple way has been on my list for what feels like forever. So so gorgeous! Pretty sure you featured one in a previous video a while back? They definitely deserve their time in the sun!
ZZ raven also has quite noticeable color change. New leafs appear light green (salad color) and turn almost black when mature. 🙂 I just wanted to mention cheap/common plant. 🙂
OMG! I freaked out when you reached across the plant picture :)))) I started watching your channel when you didn't have a green screen and the video screen really was cut in half between you and the plant. The effect here was freeeaky. But cool video! I only guessed 3 plats before starting :) I'm sure there are more seasoned collectors that will be able to guess more but I'm still proud of myself.
This video is an early birthday gift (January 15). I LOVE PHILODENDRON!!! Love the Jungle Fever and Bronze!! Hell I LOVE THEM ALL 💓💓💓💓💓! Thank you for this video 🤩😍🤩😍🤩😍💖
Leading in to #9 I guessed in my head "black cardinal?" dubious that would make the list... learning that florida bronze/cardinal beauty exists 🤯🤯🤯 definitely gonna keep an eye out for this one!
Thank you. All but 2 of these were already on my list ha ha they are all so 😍 beautiful and perfect in their individual ways. Can not wait to see what plants come to light this year (2022)
Thank you very much for your content 🫂🥰 These are absolutely adorable plants. I have a philodendron prince of orange and Florida ghost in my small beginner collection. Just got them some days ago and very excited to grow them 🤩 Thankfully to this video I have now a wish list plant - philodendron Whipple way. It looks so stunning 😍 Unfortunately it’s not so easy available in a country I currently live. But I would love to have a chance to be a happy owner of this amazing plant 🥹 Wish you all the best in your business ✨🫶🏼
Just done with work for the week, lay on the couch with a cuppa tea and this video gets uploaded. Impeccable timing Kaylee! Such a great video! Also, get well soon queen!
Philodendron painted lady is very beautiful one and so far it is easy plant. Light green splash on darker shade of green yet not so dark, with light orange when the leaf is young.
We bought a Prince of Orange a couple years ago and wow is all I can say. It has grown sooo much in 2 years. Huge leaves that come out RED! NOT ORANGE. Can someone tell me if this is normal. Like, these leaves are Bright fire engine red. It’s gorgeous!
Hello Kaylee, I have a lot to share. Lemme begin by saying I love watching your videos and that's a super understatement. There isn't a video I haven't watched in last couple of months, that's when I came across your channel... maybe late September or early October 2021. I am super thrilled to watch this one as I am watching any other. Since you prompted we could leave some ideas down below, lemme share what I found yesterday. Homalomena. This one also hasn't had its day, not yet. I say so because I own one, still acclimatizing and it is heart shaped leaved. Petioles are dark burgundy like rojo congo, leaf is neon when it emerges and oh so delicate. And the mature ones are like heart shaped philo. Now that's not all about it. I googled some images and it was spectacular. One looked like tricolor pictum but not gangly. One looked (probably selby) like minty dieffenbachia. One looked like epipremnum aureum. One looked like gloriosum. One looked like pink princess! One looked like micans-vericosum with bronzy leaves. Since that one also is an aroid, which is what you're into too, would you probably highlight this someday if that fancies you, please. Wishing you a very Happy 2022. And Ben too. Recover soon and sending huge warm hugs xoxo
I have a few changing color plants. A Rainbow Champion Anthurium, and a Red Champion anthurium. So fun fact there are some other plants that change colors.
I would gladly have half of these or more if they where more available. Some of these i have never seen been sold here in Norway, and the few that i have seen(tiny, puny little cuttings) are very very expensive.
Hey, i wanted to ask if you would consider making a Video about your editing skills and setup. I really loved the way you produced and edited the process of creating and establishing your buisness. Have a nice day 🐣
Philodendron pink princess is so beautiful. I have 2 pink princess plants right now. I would highly recommend this pink princess plants. My name is Amy.
There are some gorgeous plants featured but you made me hunt down and purchase a Philodendron Red Sun immediately after watching....aaargh I BROKE MY NO SPEND 2022 RULE!!!! Oh well, at least I can look forward to looking after it, lol. I really love the Florida ghost and the Wipple Way but they are so out of my price range, so I'll keep dreaming.
The philodendron redmoon we got is a bit shit. It doesn't give big sectoral red variegation only tiny small flecks scattered through small parts of the leaf. I swear it was so difficult to find one. The cataphyll looks immaculate with the red lines though. Our josé bouno looks like it has white leaf with sectoral chunks of green variegation 😂😂. It's leaves always comes out super white.
I find the Nangaritense (true one, not Fuzzy Petiole) can easily keep up with the pink backs of the Lynamii. So beautifully pink, fast to size up and much more affordable :)
Would be very helpful to know what is "a long period of time" or "a very extended period of time" in terms of the colour fading; is it a few months, a year, weeks? 🌱

I absolutely ADORE my Prince of Orange, i've got several
The red moon, where the red is it does fade but it will always have a "scaring" effect left behind
The zz raven is a great color changing plant. Comes in with a toxic green and then goes black. How cool is that
mine has always grown in black and somehow skips the green stage. I love it though.
@@IamaKaliedoscope interesting !!
I have one on order from Costa Farms. Eagerly awaiting
You could do a whole separate edition of this video for the best Hoyas for sun-stressing. That's a whole different realm of color-changing.
Oooo that would be a good one! All hoyas 💜
Succulents are where the cold and sun stress colors are amazing 😪
@@DeepSeaLugia also true!!! Succulents are gorgeous!
Oh is that why my tri-color got so much more pink? It's in direct sunlight by a cold window and the old leaves have become so pretty
@@IamaKaliedoscope yup, exactly!! There are some Hoya that just become kind of washed out when put in direct sunlight but a lot of them get really beautiful sun-stress. My tricolor loves the sunlight!

I am so glad I found this channel. I don't know what the heck took me so long
The Prince of Orange is what got me into philodendrons. It’s such a cool and easy beginner plant 🧡🧡🧡
oh yeah same!! I sadly never got the chance to get one but it's super facinating!
I’ve been eyeing one for a while…..
I've had two die in my care - my dog's tail killed one & the other was a victim of my 2 year old grandson... I will get another if I see them as they're gorgeous plants!

Ooooo so pretttty. You’re right on the Florida ghost- even my tiny little 3 inch is beautiful with its varying colors. That whipple…omg ♥️

The red moon does keep the strong contrast from the red after it changes such a beautiful plant. Perfect video

So many beautiful plants. What a great and unusual topic. Another smashing video.
Hi Kaylee, your video was great but the real treat is honestly always your makeup! I'm so amazed 🙂

I just bought my first prince of orange a few hours ago, so I was very happy to see it on here. Very beautiful plant
So amazing plants and I love them so much... 🥰 Thank you for sharing this video... 😘
100% agree on the Jose Buono. I got a mature one with amazing genetics and variegation, and they grow fast and prop easily. Absolutely love him.
I just got one myslef, currently rooting! I can't wait for the next leaves coming out with nice variegation 😊
Oh god, you called them whiskers. Now I need that plant 😭😂

Loved this, and I learnt a lot, thanks 😊 love from Australia
I have a philodendron “imperial red” or “red Congo”and I love the gradual fading of Redon the new leaves
I ordered a snowdrift baby and I'm very excited

I’m not sure if there is a new video of this for 2024 but my top pick plant for this is black cardinal variegated no.1
I have a few changing color plants. A Rainbow Champion Anthurium, and a Red Champion anthurium. So fun fact there are some other plants that change colors.
Just got my lynamii in the mail yesterday!😍
No me going off to buy 2 snowdrifts literally as soon as you mentioned its name 😂. Yes I'm late to this video but my god I love them
Thank you for your hard work.

I have wanting a prince of orange as well

Have a nice day 🐣
I freaking love your videos.
The florida ghost definitely a popular plant in the community world. Also i find the variegated Syngonium Podophyllum aswell.
I have a baby snowdrift, and ordered a bigger more mature plant. It's so pretty
Philodendron pink princess is so beautiful. I have 2 pink princess plants right now. I would highly recommend this pink princess plants. My name is Amy.
i like color, and because of that i want to get into caladiums (waiting for winter to be over). are you planning any videos on that?
The plants are stunning!! May I ask where you purchased them?
that whipple 💕💕
Thank you for your video. Is red moon and yellow flame the same
Ugh I lovveee the jungle fever, I'm a sucker for yellow variegation tbh.
Philodendron Birkin could have been on this list, it's varigation patterns and colours can change wildly with age!
Yes, I'm just finding this out!

Oh well, at least I can look forward to looking after it, lol. I really love the Florida ghost and the Wipple Way but they are so out of my price range, so I'll keep dreaming.
I can find Whipple ways cheap, but red moon is about $500😕 in US
I’ve always seen the bipennifolium aurea as the poor man’s Florida ghost. They kinda look the same and both change color.
❤️ I think you should change floria ghost to be number one on da list 😜👍
Does anyone know what happened with Philodendron Prince Of Orange?
It’s almost like we never hear of them anymore even though they’re stunning
I find the Nangaritense (true one, not Fuzzy Petiole) can easily keep up with the pink backs of the Lynamii. So beautifully pink, fast to size up and much more affordable :)
So, these two are not the same? I was wondering about the different names on online shops.
@@leas.8603 No, there was a name mix up once.. The "real" nangaritense is a crawler and has rounder, smoother leaves :)
I love this plants
I love prince of orange, I’ve got almost 10 😳😇
Love the background
Alluring it is Prince of Orange
Great video👍🏼
Hi are philodendrons ring of fire and paraíso verde changing color ones too?
