His team is really easy to beat except his hydreigon that is over leveled if you are lazy to level up in the victory road a little bit and has a move set that can murder every pokemon easily.

Still remember when I beated him for the first time, it was a half hour long battle with 10 max revives and 20 max heals spent. A special layer of challenge was added cause my team was hard countered by his.
That’s why he was so hard, his team is so balanced it makes it hard, cause each teamate had a weakness but a lot of times hydragon could take out most of them
The fact that they nerfed the Hydreigon in Black/White 2 and it was still incredibly challenging shows how good of a Pokémon he was. Till fairies showed up. But now, Tera Steel Fire and Poison goes so well with it

Probably quite possible with a Haxorus with Swords Dance, Dragon Dance, Dragon Claw and Brick Break. Wasn't my first time fighting Ghetsis, but when I came up with that idea, I slaughtered his whole team with Haxorus at Level 50.

Totally Cynthia is so overrated nobody talks about isis leader ghetsis with his illegitimate hydreigon that can sweep your team with 100 accuracy dragon pulse and surf. It’s been so long since I fought him but I fell in love with hydreigon after that same as golisopod with Guzma.

Ghetsis on the other hand allows you to use a legendary and you still could lose as his hyrdriegon hits way to hard and has good coverage. I would like to add that his hydriegon might almost be impossible if it had a life orb in the first game
@@Ignisium you can’t possibly one shot his team unless you had over leveled mons because for one his Hydreigon has perfect ivs, two his Eelektross has no weaknesses so any coverage move you have will either kill it within two or three attacks and lastly his cofagrigus is a tank
I played through White almost exclusively using Crustle, so it was so overleveled when I got to this guy that it just stomped his team. Hydregon's not so scary when it has a typing weak to Bug.
I strugglex against him with a mythical pokemon and experience defeating Cynthia. The only harder battles I have ever faced are against Cynthia and Volo.
Ghetsis is my ptsd, one shot my Scolipede, rest of of my team was underleveled because I only used scolipede, i had a dewott, my scolipede was several levels higher
When i beat him my pokemon were so underleveled, one of them was level 43 and the highest level one was 48 (excluding reshiram because i played pokemon black) and his hydreigon pretty much one shot all of my pokemon except a lvl 47 golurk i had, and thanks to the fact i let it have curse y ended up winning via stall first try

I didnt have a big issue with hydreigon...cause I had my own since I was obsessed with getting one ever since I saw it in pokedex and grinded my own b4 elite 4....and I also invested in volcarona.
I was lucky with my ghetsis fight. After he took out my leavanny and simisear(with brick break) i sent in Samurott(btw my team was between lv47-51), live a dragon pulse on 3 hp, and hit a crit Revenge. Afterwards i switch into krookidile to take out his elektross and bisharp.
i only lost to him twice cuz I accidentally set reshiram to the front of my party when I tried to fight him again. then I was just "I know this is cheap but I'm not going through this shit so many times. I already have PSTD from trying to catch a lvl 70 primal Kyogre". and so , I sweeped ghetsis with a darmanitan that held a shell Bell (it had belly drum btw)
I versed ghetsis in BW2 and I almost lost even with a decently leveled team and only one with samurott and a lot of items because his drapion sweeped my entire team with great type coverage and don’t get me started with BW ghetsis because i was afraid and that is really hard to pull off since I’m not afraid of threats like Cynthia anyway if anyone reads to here thanks for reading
I had to fight this dude 5 times to finally beat him. Got through his hydregion because reshiram finally landed a dragon-breath paralysis + ghetsis not using full restore. Was internally going through the stages of grief.. also made it more painful since I was playing on a 3ds and not emulator

I always used the stupid electric spider to knock out hydreigon because bug buzz is ridiculous and it's special defence is high enough to tank a no stab fire blast usually twice. Throh with black belt revenge works. Gigalith is a risky choice but being monorock is can usually tank surf too. Coil leafblade deals with literally everything else even his icyboy.

I don't understand why people refuse to grind and get their team with in 5-10 levels below the max of what their gymbadges allow, like yes i understand that it takes time but my god it makes the game a lot easier maybe im just not a masochist.
you do realize that in gen 5 grinding takes *ages?* it took me a while just to get my team in white to a comparable level to the e4 much less _5-10 below the maximum_
So I'm weird and like bug pkm, cofagrigus and superior which like ended up countering him very well and i would of done even better if i didn't have to use reshiram which didnt synergize with my team so i beat him first try after listening to his theme for like 2 hours straight.
BW1 Ghetsis is AWFUL, particularly that Hydreigon. I don't believe that there's anything in the Unova Dex that can definitely come in on it safely and defeat it in 1-2 hits without being grossly over-leveled and/or EV trained. Its moveset of Dragon Pulse, Surf, Fire Blast and Focus Blast gives it all-but-perfect type coverage and STAB. Anything that could reasonably take advantage of its weaknesses or resist its STAB Dragon Pulse is going to get annihilated in other ways. Haxorus or Druddigon? Dragon Pulse. Vanilluxe, Cryogonal or Beartic? Pick your pain of Fire Blast OR Focus Blast. Steel types? Focus Blast. Terrakion? Also Focus Blast. Emboar? Surf's up, it's dead. Durant? Melted and toasted with Fire Blast. Reshiram or Zekrom? Dragon Pulse says hi. Anything else will probably be out-sped and fall to that STAB Dragon Pulse. The only Pokemon that might be able to pull it off is a well-trained Mienshao (125 base Attack and 105 base Speed), but that's either raising a Mienfoo (which is a slog, since it evolves at level 54) or catching one in Route 14's dark grass (have fun finding one).
I managed to beat ghetsis with a level 47-50 team Emboar level 48 Reshiram level 50 Stountland level 49 Krookodike level 47 Seismitoad level 48 Gothitelle level 47 I was like: how tf did i beated him?

Throh with black belt revenge works. Gigalith is a risky choice but being monorock is can usually tank surf too. Coil leafblade deals with literally everything else even his icyboy.
@@nathannakonieczny1343 my anti Hydreigon was luckily an Adamant nature Scrafty with shed skin instead of Moxie. Turns out while leveling for speed ended up making a tanky Special defense character.
I don't understand why people refuse to grind and get their team with in 5-10 levels below the max of what their gymbadges allow, like yes i understand that it takes time but my god it makes the game a lot easier maybe im just not a masochist.
you do realize that in gen 5 grinding takes *ages?*
it took me a while just to get my team in white to a comparable level to the e4 much less _5-10 below the maximum_
So I'm weird and like bug pkm, cofagrigus and superior which like ended up countering him very well and i would of done even better if i didn't have to use reshiram which didnt synergize with my team so i beat him first try after listening to his theme for like 2 hours straight.

Pokémon gen 5 red health music was a banger. But Ghetsis was really not hard to beat, just use Durant’s bug attack to OHKO and smack Hydreigon.

Agaist fighting Hydraigon is dead, but if he outspeed you your pokemon is dead.
It’s more who’s faster in that case, Durant can’t take a hit from a fire blast though
I had transfered my meganium over from HG to fight ghetsis it saved me with poison powder on hydreigon

BW1 Ghetsis is AWFUL, particularly that Hydreigon. I don't believe that there's anything in the Unova Dex that can definitely come in on it safely and defeat it in 1-2 hits without being grossly over-leveled and/or EV trained. Its moveset of Dragon Pulse, Surf, Fire Blast and Focus Blast gives it all-but-perfect type coverage and STAB. Anything that could reasonably take advantage of its weaknesses or resist its STAB Dragon Pulse is going to get annihilated in other ways.
Haxorus or Druddigon? Dragon Pulse.
Vanilluxe, Cryogonal or Beartic? Pick your pain of Fire Blast OR Focus Blast.
Steel types? Focus Blast.
Terrakion? Also Focus Blast.
Emboar? Surf's up, it's dead.
Durant? Melted and toasted with Fire Blast.
Reshiram or Zekrom? Dragon Pulse says hi.
Anything else will probably be out-sped and fall to that STAB Dragon Pulse.
The only Pokemon that might be able to pull it off is a well-trained Mienshao (125 base Attack and 105 base Speed), but that's either raising a Mienfoo (which is a slog, since it evolves at level 54) or catching one in Route 14's dark grass (have fun finding one).
