Two of my favorite RUclipsrs together at last! The characters in this game look pretty cool, but I’m confused - are they men wearing cool armor, or are they some sort of robotic anthropomorphic animals? I get that they are ‘Valorans’, but that doesn’t help much. 😅 7:46 - Cynic hadn’t heard of ‘kiting’ before either. I can’t say whether or not he confused it with edging though. 😝 8:30 - Loving that quality CGI! 😍 Hahah, excellent presentation, guys! It's been really fun collabing with others in the gaming community. I don't really stream so it's fun to incorporate other ways to collab. I think they are humans wearing armor, or at least humanoids haha. The armor is pretty sweet looking as they are based on the 12 zodiac signs. Unless you have a friend and you guys just want to chill and kill a couple of hours in mindless hack-n-slash co-op... I'd avoid this. I think you and I both love plots and in-depth characters. This had none of that. Thanks for watching buddy, I do love doing skits. It was a throwback to the TC Show.
Val's channel is awesome, so everyone should subscribe. Lots of indie horror, and I love discovering games through her! It always surprises me when an amazing looking game like this fails to understand the basics: enjoyable characters, good story, and just making the player feel invested. It just feels like a cheap generic game. They could have made some small tweaks here or there and it could have been a very solid co-op experience. They have some cool customization and armor, but... there's not much else going on. Yeah, it was wild we both scored it a 6.5! Thanks for watching.

I didn't get that game even when it was that cheap because after watching some gameplay it looked so generic and after watching your review, my mind is still unchanged on this one! Very nice video guys fair play. I dabbled with this on PS4 an could see the complex combat appeal however alas similarly the narrative & characters(or lack there of) didn't hold my focus too long.🎮⚡️☘️

Godfall is a solid hack-and-slash game, that like you both said, lacks any real story. However, I have to say I enjoyed my time with it at launch. The score you each gave it is very fair for sure. Fun collab review!

Man I missed your skits. The vape pen set it off. Gcg and I played this a little bit and I had no clue the story was that deep because it feels like there is barely a story there. Overall I wasn't impressed as like you mentioned the game never hooked me in. Play Returnal already!!!!!!!!
