I can't state how much I love your videos. My littles are almost 5, 3 and 2 and I'm definitely going to start this asap! Please consider a follow-up with breakfast options that they have.

Akeeba, these are indeed excellent tips like you always have! I appreciate you for sharing and making it seem that all (or at least many) of these tips and characteristics are attainable for your viewing community. Most importantly, I feel like your experience and excellence in teaching and education play a major, major role in your daughters’ lives and they seem to match your energy in terms of their quest for knowledge and interest in learning. With the brief peeks into your lives, I am convinced that You are a breed apart when it comes to mom’s who homeschool 😅! Don’t stop doing what you’re doing by sharing your habits/traits/skills/abilities with us! And continued success in raising daughters who are independent, thoughtful, creative and inspired ❤.

@@delightfular9200 🤣 I just watched "Could this be the best place to homeschool in the United States" and learned that she lives in my county. I immediately had the same daydream. Oh Akeeba, your virtual bestie list is extensive. All the best and much success to each of you.

Completely agree! My daughter started doing things on her own since she was two. Of course I help when a challenge presents itself and she already knows help from mommy is just that help not do it for her. I teach her whatever she wants to learn and supervise because she is still 4 but it has been a game changer since she turned 3 🤗🤗

I might need to have a sprinkler and a fire alarm go off in my kids' room to get them up independently.

Great common sense parenting! This should be a required training tool to improve parenting skills for Baltimore parents. Mommy/parents are children's first teacher.

Such GREAT suggestions! 1 tip that wont work for us is that in Alabama we wake up and it's winter, by 11am its Fall, at 1pm you are in the dead heat of Summer along with humidity 😅😂 then by evening we are in a crisp cool nice Spring.. All in 24 hours. This happens at anytime between September- April. Like yesterday we had a frost warning as it was 35°F when we woke up, yet today our low was 72 and high was 85 😂😂😂 its so confusing.
But absolutely I LOVE your tips for morning independance ❤

Hello Akeeba, First of all, I would like to thank you for all the content you are sharing. I plan to homeschool my kids. It is a bit difficult, as we are a trilingual family and English is my 3rd language. You have great content and I am excited to try your approach in the future. Greetings from Italy!
