Thank you both so much for your channel - I am so far away from my Happy Place and your content is my virtual escape - and for the part where you always remind us that everything is going to be ok. It made me cry today. My family has a strange and poignant relationship with Disneyland going back to our first visit from Australia in 1973. Last week my baby brother passed suddenly at only 44 and I’ve been feeling like I’ll never be happy again, especially with the death of our mother only last year - and Mum always brought the Disney magic in our home growing up, and this continued with her grandchildren. I still struggle to see how things could ever be better but it still helps to hear you say it, and it helps to see the parks in almost real time and just know that they are there and hopefully the kids and I can escape there for real again within a few years. Keep up the great work, Precious Provost People. Love from Oz 🐨 ♥️
#8 is my favorite. Pins are just so cute, simple, wearable small and not too expensive. I just love them so much you can never have too many Disney pins. 😊👌🏻💙✨
I'm the same way. I usually only buy items I know I'll use again. ❤ last year I bought a raincoat. I've worn it so much this past fall and spring with the rain we've had. Best purchase I've ever made in the parks.
I collect pins and I decorate with them. I put them in frames based on which movie or which collection and then it becomes a fun little decor item in my home that generates conversation.
#7 and #6 are my votes. I love my ears that I’ve bought over the years. And I really love the items you listed for #6 so many great ideas and things to peruse when my family visits Disneyland again.
#8 I love the pins! I put them on display on my wall. They bring me happiness. Before pins it used to be the pressed penny's. Chris pressed penny video was the first PPP video I ever saw. Thank you for all you do! ❤️
Amanda # 10 is my vote - special event clothing and all kinds of spirit jerseys are what I love to purchase at Disneyland and I wear them wherever I go even out of California 😎 it's a status thing-so everyone knows how much I love Disneyland 💓
When I was at Disneyland last October, I came home with a spirit jersey, a zip up hoodie, a sweatshirt, only one coffee mug, and a few things from Paradise Pier Hotel! And a pair of ears! Mugs are my go to souvenir! I collect playing cards too!
Thank you for the video Amanda. Excellent!!!! My favorite items are the not so in your face screaming items for the home. I really love the subtle items best 🤗💕🤗💕🤗💕
Yep, number 1 for me. The pressed coins are so cute and they are small and easy to carry. I keep one in my purse so I can be reminded of my favorite place almost every day.
my favs are ears ( i have a whole wall full in my room- i may have a problem lol) , home items, pins, water bottles, shirts. Love you and Chris! Thank you for your energy and encouragement! hugs n love ❤😊
#7 must have Disney ears…I’m quite addicted. I also like to get a Christmas ornament with the year on it. Sometimes I buy a picture frame and a pair of salt and pepper shakers to add to my collection that dates back to the 1940’s. 🏰. I do like the pressed pennies just because my kiddos enjoyed doing them 😊. Thank you so much for a great video!!!
i started collecting pins at age 52 and i find it so fun. i pack light and like that they are small, packable souvenirs. i don’t trade them, but have my lanyard hanging on my dresser mirror where i see it every day and it makes me smile because i love the disney parks. (i’ll pass on the succulents though. 😅)
I vote for subtle home goods! I do the same thing you do. I want something Disney themed that will brighten my day when I have to perform all the chores that I hate, without being in your face.
When you guys did the video on Disney pin trading, I absolutely fell in love with it. Pin trading is such a fun way to interact with cast members and Ive had a lot of magical moments doing it!
Hi Amanda, When I go to a Disney park I usually get a T-shirt or two a new coffee cup and I do like pins but I don’t trade pins I buy pins that I like and I want to keep and I have a framed pin board hanging on the wall where I display all my pins, I usually buy ride pins. I used to do press pennies and press quarters when you could use your own coins for example when I wanted to press a penny I would use a penny that was 100% copper the new ones are not and when I would press a quarter I would use a real silver quarters. Since they installed the new coin press machines that are now way more expensive and don’t allow you to use your own coins I stopped
I had no idea there was a less expensive lightsaber!!! Thank you I think that might solve an issue we were having - my kids are in elementary school and will likely break the nice ones.
My personal favorite souvenir is a Disney character illustration from one of the sketch artists. Last time, I obtained a wonderful Oswald sketch in a silhouette studio frame.
The kid in me likes the bubbles. 😄 I often like things that reflect memories I experienced. For example, I bought a keychain of the plaques above the entries leading into Main Street, because that's the first thing I remember clearly noticing on my first visit.
I love the clothes bc you get the most use out of them IF you get items you’ll wear outside of Disney. I actually wish we could feel like we could wear ears anytime anywhere especially when we’re missing being at the park. 😊
i love a good spirit jersey or backpack bag... and pins are always fun. i love the cute shirts you can get only at Disney most important i love that Disney has plus sizing on items so no one feels excluded from purchasing. also to get a disney xmas ornament is always special too
One of my favorite souvenirs is the drawings from the Animation Academy in DCA. When in get home I scan them into my computer and reduce them to an 8.5" & 11". I have a binder with all of the ones we've ever done. It's so much fun to look though it! 😁
I am going to be in Disneyland next week and the souvenir that I want to get is a Disney Dollar. I have been collecting them for years now and I currently have about 25 of them (even though some of them are duplicates). These, to me, are way more fun to collect than the pressed pennies.
#8...pins are small enough i can get a bunch and display them all pretty at my small apartment without losing space...also have a pin on a jacket or adding one to a hat or one to the edge of your shirt to hold the corner in place to add a kiss of disney magic to the daily grind
This was a tough choice!! I would say #7 but this year I have learned and fallen in love with pin trading!! I didn't even know that was a thing and it's so much fun!! P.S. The video Chris did about pin trading is really informative and very fun so thank you!! I know it's an old video but I'm a bit late in the game 😅
I'm definitely gonna get a shirt or seven the next time I visit. I'm gonna be looking for records to grow my Disney record collection too. I'm trying to build a strong collection of records that were released on the Disneyland Records label (I'm still finding a bunch in thrift stores), and having some of the new releases helps fill it out. The pressed pennies collection is actually something that I'm planning to build on our trip to the park later this year. For the price, you can't go too wrong with it. We look for penny pressing machines at other tourist stops (we find them in the strangest places sometimes...), so it fits in with a collection we've already started. I also want to find some cool pins featuring the trains in the parks.
At Disney World if you buy a popcorn bucket, any kind, you can have it refilled for a lot less the entire length of your trip. So you get your moneys worth if you fill the bucket up while you’re at the parks throughout your trip
Not sure what number it was bit I'm with you on the bible wands!! There is just somthing so joyful about walking through Disneyland and getting bubbled lol seeing them float through the air really does add to the magic and there's that moment when you see how happy the kids are making them and they see you smile and then they smile or giggle and then you smile bigger❤ I love that moment ❤ I have twins so I didn't want to spend the money but ive heard from you and other people to get them before you go and bring your own refills and batteries and I think we'r might just have to do that this next trip🎉
Hi! I love these type of videos- it’s useful for when I plan for my next Disneyland trip…my MUSTS are #8 pins, #7 Mickey ears and my number one is of course #1 pressed pennies 😁….special mention that wasn’t one the list is that I also recommend is the Disneyland Silhouette (I love mine and I want to get another with me and my siblings on it 👍)
My favorite Disney Merch is when my adult kids come back from Disney and always has something for me. Thoughts are the best surprise Disney Merchandise and I love it.
So, my family actually LOVES popcorn, so we don't get the super fancy buckets we get the regular buckets and we reuse them! We have a popcorn station at my home for my nieces/nephews/loved ones that include the Disney popcorn Buckets i've collected over the years so they get used over and over. But as a pin collector - that is my favorite souvenir :)
Awesome stuff!! One of the best souvenirs I ever got for my daughter was a sterling silver Mickey ring! She got it when she was 7 (she is 9 now and still wears it every day!!) The experience was so cool though!! It was extra special because the lady at the shop pulled out the ring sizer so we got the perfect size for her little finger! With all the souvenirs we bought the last 2 times we went, that is one that gets used the absolute most!! We are going in June and she is looking forward to getting a new one since she has grown a bit!
My favorite Disney Souvenirs are Pressed Pennies, Pins (my daughter and I have multiple pin boards), and of course a Popcorn Bucket. No, I don't live near any Disney parks, so getting 1 Popcorn bucket every couple of years is fine.
Love number 1. I get them almost everywhere I go. Went to WDW in '21, going to DL (for the first time ever!) in October, and have plans to make a piece of Disney Art with all my pennies from the 2 trips. Super Excited and can't wait!
The Galaxy's Edge lightsabers have a feature which is a double-edged sword: You can duel with them. This makes it dangerous for small children but more fun for older children and the ones in big bodies and with greying hair. I've done a little recreational fencing so I'm OK, although wearing a helmet and padding *might* not be a bad idea…
Somehow knew what #1 was- so sorry 🥰 My vote is for #10. I’ve always purchased some sort of t-shirt, sweatshirt or hat ever since I was a child going to the parks with my family. I saved almost everything and my daughters now in their 20’s love their uniqueness wearing my “vintage” Disney clothing 💚💙💚 Great video Amanda!! Ty ✨
10 My granddaughter loves pressed pennies and has many books of them. She gets some every trip. I had a few as a kid but never saved them too long. My grandson loves things that are the most bizarre. We all love T-shirts but for me... I am hooked on loungefly backpacks or different kinds of tote bags. Always trying to carry stuff. We have so many things including snow globes, key rings, cups and mugs, p,j,s, suit cases, pens, autograph books, cook books, music books, plush, jewelry, hats and ears, light sabers, pins, art, toys and on and on... but if I have to pick one number for the whole family it must be number 10
Hi Chris! Me and my family are going to Disney world Florida and Universal in August and we were wondering if you would be there at the same time/around the summer so we can have more tips?😅have a great day
Great video Amanda, #8 Pins might be the every visit purchase but #9 Home Decor is so fun to have. We bought a great silverware set with Mickey cutouts that we use every day
I bought a huge Tiki Room , Tiki Drummer with a light in the drum. I love it . The Disney Store used to have a mail order catalog with Furniture type items in it.. I miss that!
I enjoyed this video, for me number 1 is the Minnie ears but I like bounding so I’m particular that my ears match my bound (this can get expensive and take some planning). Number 1 for my daughter is princess dresses because getting a picture with her matching princess will be priceless. Number 1 for my son will be light sabers since we’re going in May I think it’ll be cool and he can play with them at home. Number 1 for my husband will be pins, he likes to swap them out on his jacket depending on his mood. I’m adding to this list the animator collection dolls for my daughter, they are soo cute and she loves her dolls. Reality is we know our souvenir budget is going to end up 100% on our kids but my son will be Harry Potter stuff from universal studios and my daughter will be Disney stuff.
Definitely agree that the clothing IS A MUST. Every time I go to Disneyland, I have to come home with some sort of clothing. They can cost a lot, but the quality is pretty good. I have scarves, - that I still have in good condition - from when I went in 2008/2009. I also still have my Minnie Mouse bomber jacket from when I went in 2018, (and I wore that jacket a lot over the years).
Amanda! So happy to see the Disneyland Paris behind you next to the Anaheim map ❤ I have the same map on my wall, I really want to get it framed to keep it nice 😊 it never fails to make me smile how much you enjoy our little French park too, hope to welcome you back soon ❤
I love you Amanda! 🥺 my favorite thing I’ve EVER gotten at Disney was the silhouette of my son! Such a good experience, and the price isn’t bad at all! My toddlers favorite thing is probably the bubble wand 😂
That's a great list. I've seen Chris's penny video. Loved it! I've always done pressed pennies because they are inexpensive and adorable. I now do them with my daughter. Sorry amanda. I also like getting hats at Disney and theme parks. To add to your list would be picture frames to frame the amazing memories while at the park. Most come in sturdy cardboard boxes and are relatively easy to travel with.
Omg I just went last month with my five year old and my mom got him that exact woody car and it kept him busy for hours. The bubble wands are also a great one. We came home with two lol buzz and Mickey of course

So sorry you are having a hard time. So hard to lose a sibling. I love watching these video's also, it is a great escape from life. Hang in there.
@@maxhardman606 it really is. Thank you so much for your kind reply, Max.
I think clothing is the most practical souvenir, but I think the pins with the succulents are super adorable!❤
I’m a big collector of pressed pennies from all over not just Disney. So sorry to say, #1 for me. Cheap and very small
I collect pins and I decorate with them. I put them in frames based on which movie or which collection and then it becomes a fun little decor item in my home that generates conversation.
Glad to see another great video from you two.
#9 Home Decor for me!! I agree I love it’s just a hint of Disney 🥰
#7 is my go-to souvenir. I started buying a set of ears each trip. I have a wall of ears and each reminds me of that specific trip.
Cups and home decor!! I need to do a caricature with my kids!
Amanda # 10 is my vote - special event clothing and all kinds of spirit jerseys are what I love to purchase at Disneyland and I wear them wherever I go even out of California 😎 it's a status thing-so everyone knows how much I love Disneyland 💓

Yep, number 1 for me.
The pressed coins are so cute and they are small and easy to carry.
I keep one in my purse so I can be reminded of my favorite place almost every day.
I love getting a new Christmas ornament and magnet every time I go.
We love #1, because it is all the things you said and CHEAP! But we also love the subtle home decor. And an occasional popcorn bucket.
my favs are ears ( i have a whole wall full in my room- i may have a problem lol) , home items, pins, water bottles, shirts. Love you and Chris! Thank you for your energy and encouragement! hugs n love ❤😊

So 7+8, Mickey ears with succulents sprouting between them! Get on it, Disney! 😂
My favorite souvenirs are clothing, hats and tumblers. But for the grandkids? Toys of course!
The popcorn bucket and Disney mugs work great at home as a planters.
I vote for subtle home goods! I do the same thing you do. I want something Disney themed that will brighten my day when I have to perform all the chores that I hate, without being in your face.
Oooh I'm a huge #8 fan! I've always collected pins but recently found the Disney ones and they're so cool!
Great video Amanda! For me it’s number 10. Clothing is typically my go to souvenir.
I did all the Pressed Pennies February of 2020 on your recommendation and it has been by far and away my most favorite souvenir.
#8? low key disney home decor for me!
When you guys did the video on Disney pin trading, I absolutely fell in love with it. Pin trading is such a fun way to interact with cast members and Ive had a lot of magical moments doing it!

My fave Disney souvenir is Christmas ornaments- we pick one up every Disney location we go, and it goes on the Disney tree!
My personal favorite souvenir is a Disney character illustration from one of the sketch artists.
Last time, I obtained a wonderful Oswald sketch in a silhouette studio frame.
9 - I bought a Alice throw pillow in 2021 that brings that Disney warmth.
#10 for sure, I think clothing is the most versatile one. But I also like #2 the reusable tumblers/water bottles! Another great one :)
You & Chris are the most delightful people! My favorite RUclipsrs!
The kid in me likes the bubbles. 😄 I often like things that reflect memories I experienced. For example, I bought a keychain of the plaques above the entries leading into Main Street, because that's the first thing I remember clearly noticing on my first visit.
I love getting a new hat when I go each time. That’s my vote
It’s nice to have Amanda doing more vids! This was a really fun one!
Thank you!
Im Sorry Number 1 is my favourite haha especially the medallions.
I love the clothes bc you get the most use out of them IF you get items you’ll wear outside of Disney. I actually wish we could feel like we could wear ears anytime anywhere especially when we’re missing being at the park. 😊

Minnie Ears for me! 🙌😊💕
The new popcorn bucket at Toon Town is so cute! I can’t wait to get it for my son. He can eat popcorn out of it at home.
#8...pins are small enough i can get a bunch and display them all pretty at my small apartment without losing space...also have a pin on a jacket or adding one to a hat or one to the edge of your shirt to hold the corner in place to add a kiss of disney magic to the daily grind

P.S. The video Chris did about pin trading is really informative and very fun so thank you!! I know it's an old video but I'm a bit late in the game 😅
I can't decide which one I love most! They're all amazing! But I do love the thermal detonator bottles in galaxy's edge.
I'm definitely gonna get a shirt or seven the next time I visit. I'm gonna be looking for records to grow my Disney record collection too. Exactly! I think Dworld is definitely worth it, Disneyland is iffy for me!

I love all of them but number 8 is my favorite 🤩
#7 for my family. We are long time Disney World visitors and in July will be our first visit to Disneyland. We can’t wait to go to the Mad Hatter!
My Go To is Your Option 7 Ears and Hats.❤🎉😊
I love pressed pennies!! But washing them is a must😊
So, my family actually LOVES popcorn, so we don't get the super fancy buckets we get the regular buckets and we reuse them! We have a popcorn station at my home for my nieces/nephews/loved ones that include the Disney popcorn Buckets i've collected over the years so they get used over and over.
But as a pin collector - that is my favorite souvenir :)
I love the pressed coins!🪙
I love popcorn too🍿 it is my favorite snack we should get together and eat popcorn
Number 7 for me! I love buying baseball caps from everywhere I go. 💗🇦🇺
I love that you got the caricature of your dog! It gave me the idea to do one for our family pet to gift to my brother!
I love number 2😊 I drink out of my Disneyland thermos cup every day 🎉
Similar to the caricature is the hand cut silhouette that you can get on Main Street. A custom souvenir that really is not terribly expensive.
I love the ears 😂 I use them at home when I’m washing my face or putting on makeup to get my hair out of my face!
Donald Duck bubble pipe 🛁. My big brother got one in the early 90s, and I still think it was the coolest souvenir.
Okay my second favorite is the pressed pennies! 😂
I like keychains and tote bags!!!!
Ty ✨

I’m a hat guy so I’m voting for #7!
Hi Chris! Me and my family are going to Disney world Florida and Universal in August and we were wondering if you would be there at the same time/around the summer so we can have more tips?😅have a great day
@Bully Maguire thank you so much this is so helpful!
Shoulder plushies, pins, lightsabers, designer Disney button down shirts.
#7 ears and hats! My favorite thing! ❤❤❤
I am a pin collector. Small kine. But oh man you could totally do a show on pins alone 😍😍😍
Thanks Amanda. Nice to see a video that you made. My vote would be for number 9 and 10.😁
Popcorn Buckets!!🍿🍿🍿🍿
Definitely #8! I love pins and second would be #7 ears/hats
#7, Mickey Ears are a must! As always love your videos ❤
Number 1 all they way! Then #2! Love you guys!😊
I enjoyed this video, for me number 1 is the Minnie ears but I like bounding so I’m particular that my ears match my bound (this can get expensive and take some planning). Number 1 for my daughter is princess dresses because getting a picture with her matching princess will be priceless. I’ll add that I agree with you about the coin thing! Those dirty little monsters stink! 🤢
Number #1😀😀 I like collecting stretched coins from everywhere
Thank you for your fun video. I have to say number 8 is my top pick.
I love Spirit Jerseys. The plain black and white letters is my fav too, I wear it all the time.
Amanda! So happy to see the Disneyland Paris behind you next to the Anaheim map ❤ I have the same map on my wall, I really want to get it framed to keep it nice 😊 it never fails to make me smile how much you enjoy our little French park too, hope to welcome you back soon ❤
Aw yay! Love DLand paris. Can’t wait to come back soon!
I love you Amanda! 🥺 my favorite thing I’ve EVER gotten at Disney was the silhouette of my son! Such a good experience, and the price isn’t bad at all! My toddlers favorite thing is probably the bubble wand 😂
Are the silhouettes available again? When I was there in 2022 they weren’t!
@@roxiegribblewilday yes! We actually got my sons done in Nov. ‘22
Christmas ornament always!
Thanks Bob the welder and wife
Omg I just went last month with my five year old and my mom got him that exact woody car and it kept him busy for hours. The bubble wands are also a great one. We came home with two lol buzz and Mickey of course
