Today I learned that if you're in a canoe and it flips over in water... you can safely wear it on your head... because it's capsized. There was a big sale on canoe paddles at the store today... It was quite an oar deal.
If you’re the parent of an autistic kid, like I am, then look into Disability Access Services. Took my autistic son to Disneyland in April and it made a huge difference!
So I am an old guy..69 and quite place to rest are important to me. I found this one on Tom Sawyers Island so sweet..then some Vlogger...Chris something or other..and he starts yelling at the CM on the Mark Twain....I was almost asleep...geez...lol Chris..Sorry just had to give you a bit of a hard time.... I knew them all and the one by Pooh Corner is awesome but they need to put a bench or two there permanently..I get disapointed when it is gone. Thank you again Mr Amazing Chris..Amanda and Miles Provost..love you guys!
I got arrested last time I went to Disneyland just like that poor kid. I bought a pretzel and then got a fuel rod immediately after, I was charged with a salt and battery.
I like the very back of the patio at hungry bear restaurant. It is not crowded and has a nice view of the rivers of america plus the ducks swim by. Absolutely peaceful
You missed my favorite rest area. Pizza Planet. It’s inside, air conditioned, tons of seating, water fountain with ice, and dimly lit. Can be a touch quieter than outside too!
It might be cheating with the title but my favorite rest spot is the lobby of the GrandCalifornian Hotel, the atmosphere is as amazing as the piano playing.
I would like to nominate my favorite quiet spot: The Frontierland Shipping Dock (just north of the Mark Twain & Columbia terminal). Umbrellas, tables, chairs and a nice view of the river. A great place to eat your corndog. Be sure to check out the shipping labels on the crates stacked about. This is only crowded when Fantasmic is showing. What is the difference between a teacher and a locomotive engineer? The teacher trains the mind, the engineer minds the train.
Never knew the #1 rest area existed…? WHAT? The wife and I absolutely love your content! Always informative and your messages of telling folks they are great is wonderful. Just remember you and your family are wonderful too! The time you, your wife, and Miles spent showing us the hidden gecko was truly kind. I appreciated you taking the time…Keep up the great work.
One area my wife likes to rest at is the dining area by alien pizza planet. If you go towards the back as you enter space mountain line, there’s usually not a lot of people there. It’s will be on your left as you’re walking up to space mountain. It’s shaded and air conditioned I believe. Not a lot to look at back there except for people heading up to space mountain.
As someone who’s Visiting Disneyland and DCA in March 2024 all the way from London, England, it’s good to know about these spots. I have anxiety and sometimes it’s nice just to escape the crowds for a moment to calm down
Chris being all sHaDy today! LOL! Waterfall next to Pooh looks sssssoooooooooooo tranquil. Disneyland is just cRaMMed with these areas. This park is soooooooooo charming!
The railroad IS such a great place to rest! We have done several full circle tours around before getting off and you have so many options of where to get off.
Chris are considering doing a similar video for the DCA side? I feel like there may be fewer R and R spots over there, however I may be wrong. Thanks again!
The best resting spot at Disneyland is the new Disney Vacation Club’s members-only Star View Station and Lounge in Tomorrowland. Plushy seating, air conditioning, free soft drinks, and rest rooms.
It's a pity *that's* what happened to one of the best rest spots in Disneyland: Innoventions, which everyone could use while your kids enjoy numerous interactive exhibits. Missed the movie theater on Main Street. We'd love to see more Amanda, but she's just going to stay the Pixie she is… 😅 For DCA rest spots, the lobby of the Animation Studio is probably the best, with animation clips playing, although sometimes the couches are well occupied. Most natural seeming is the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, where it's both quiet and your kids can go climbing around you. And some of the benches around Grizzly Peak are great and you can watch some of the Cats of DCA…
The pathway behind Harbor galley used to never be used, I would only see one or two people ever sitting at the tables back there, there is one other thing at the other end of the path there are stairs, so it’s not wheelchair or stroller, friendly, but one of my favorite places, there are a few other hidden places around Disneyland, to sit that you feel like it’s secluded, but I’m not willing to give those secrets away.🤪
You got that right man sometimes I need to take a break from people or you know need somewhere quiet to go or take a break at. Sorry if that doesn't make any sense. But other than that I hope you are doing well and that everything is going well for you and that you're having a happy week and I hope you had a happy weekend and I hope you had a good time on your trip and I hope you have a good time on your next trip.
I am super excited because me and my wife will be there in September for our 15 year anniversary. Can't wait to be back in Disney again. Thank you for always showing us everything
We love the train! 🚂 My daughter and I have gone to only ride the train around a few times with some snacks, just to enjoy the time together, the view of Disneyland and to people watch! We agree with you, a very relaxing things to do! ❤
Disneyland Railroad naps are the BEST! I am a person that has to chill throughout the day if I wanna open and close the parks so this video is right up my alley! There is a little cove with tables under the old people mover launch spot. It's really nice cause it can't get super full of people. #1 is where I recorded my Instagram reels of the reactions of people coming off Splash Mountain the weekend before it closed! I love that spot so much. That churro joke Chris... that's top notch!!!
Oh my goodness! Can’t thank you enough for content that either specifically or indirectly describes how people with a variety of abilities can enjoy the park! ❤
The #4 spot is my favorite! It's not that crowded; you are in the middle of everything; and the water and shade helps to keep you cool. Love this location! Another great spot to rest is in the Tiki Tiki Room. The AC and delicious treats revive your feet and you sole (see what I did there Chris?)! Another great video!
Back when Galaxy edge was still being built and they had the river blocked off, they had the ship at the dock and jj had tables set up, it was a nice and quiet place to sit and relax
Thank you for the awesome tips 👍🏻 So helpful even if parents are visiting Disneyland without their kids. I will also say, we probably won't ever get tired of your encouragement in these videos. Thank you so much! 🎉 You TOO matter. You and your family are precious 💕
Love the channel. May not be a secret but the first aid station behind the red wagon was a great spot when my boys were little. Water refills a/c and restroom. And the nurses are gold.
That is one of the things I love about Disneyland. There are lots of places where you can relax. One of my favorites is right beside City Hall just inside the burm.
This is your best video yet! As the countdown winded down, I was getting worried that you were going to reveal the actual #1 best resting spot @ Disneyland. Thank you for keeping that a secret. You're awesome!
Am pretty positive my parents would have known about the best rest places in the early 1960 through my Dad's work. Each year there was Garrett night at Disneyland (I was about 2 age or 3 age) and all the trees and the rest of which was added to DSNYLND in which people may not know today. My brother was my keeper when young and got to know Tom Sawyer very well. Split my pants there when I got older.
You've hit all my 3.5yo granddaughters & I favorite spots(almost). Yesterday's 52nd visit for us was in DCA, which also has a number of good spots! Thanks for an amazing YT channel!!
You almost had me throw an absolute 4 year old hissy fit when you got me with the churros joke. I was genuinely mad at first!! Don't ever do that again!! Lol. ❤😂
Enchanted Tiki Room is a great rest area, and it's air conditioned
Hay chris why do fish live in salt water? Because pepper water would make them sneeze!
Today I learned that if you're in a canoe and it flips over in water... you can safely wear it on your head... because it's capsized.
There was a big sale on canoe paddles at the store today... It was quite an oar deal.
This will be awesome to take my Autistic son for a few minutes. Thank You
If you’re the parent of an autistic kid, like I am, then look into Disability Access Services. Took my autistic son to Disneyland in April and it made a huge difference!
I know you and your son will have an awesome time
So I am an old guy..69 and quite place to rest are important to me. You Chris Provost are the Mr. Rogers of a new generation.
Right, he is,😂 lol
Both as a kid and as an adult, I have been guilty of resisting a rest.
I loved the Churro joke… made me smile😀
I got arrested last time I went to Disneyland just like that poor kid. I bought a pretzel and then got a fuel rod immediately after, I was charged with a salt and battery.
🤣🤣😁💚💙
I like the very back of the patio at hungry bear restaurant. It is not crowded and has a nice view of the rivers of america plus the ducks swim by. Absolutely peaceful
😅, you came SO close to showing our favorite place to nap. Glad it will remain a secret. Wont have to fight any grannies over it! Lol
Thank you everyone for watching!!
You missed my favorite rest area. Pizza Planet. It’s inside, air conditioned, tons of seating, water fountain with ice, and dimly lit. Can be a touch quieter than outside too!
I too will always call the island Tom Sawyer Island. When I was younger, you could climb up on the fort.
It might be cheating with the title but my favorite rest spot is the lobby of the GrandCalifornian Hotel, the atmosphere is as amazing as the piano playing.
Everyone loves Roberto!!!
In the summer when it is very hot, go relax in the air-conditioned Tiki Room!
I agree! It will always be Tom Sawyers to me!!!!!
When I saw the title I thought: Fantasia Gardens watching the monorails. I'm glad that was in your video. I still call it Tom Sawyer Island too.
The train was always my favorite resting place
My husband and I enjoyed resting while riding the train for about 20 minutes 😅. It’s really the best resting spot, and enjoyable!
You missed the raised deck area just north of the Mark Twain. Very few people go there and it's a great place to sit and watch the fireworks.
I had a feeling when you went to Pooh's corner, you'd get a Tigger Tail 😉🧡
inside the theater on main street is my favorite rest area. air conditioned and benches
I love riding the train to relax. It’s exactly what I did after hurting myself on the Matterhorn.
Love all the dad jokes and glad you remembered the boats I used to love them as a kid.
Chris, you should do the samething but at Disney California adventure.
It was such a pleasure meeting you Friday!! 😊😊 me and my husband met you right by Muarices Treats. You were so so nice! Thank you for all you do! 😊
As someone who’s Visiting Disneyland and DCA in March 2024 all the way from London, England, it’s good to know about these spots. I have anxiety and sometimes it’s nice just to escape the crowds for a moment to calm down
Planning a trip in July, will be fast so great to have places to chill. Love the dad jokes.
I like the Lincoln presentation to rest hahaha
Chris being all sHaDy today! LOL! Waterfall next to Pooh looks sssssoooooooooooo tranquil. Disneyland is just cRaMMed with these areas. This park is soooooooooo charming!
The railroad IS such a great place to rest! We have done several full circle tours around before getting off and you have so many options of where to get off.
Best place to relax the Canoes 😆
Tentacles! 🤣 that one got me.
This IS your best video yet. You even seem more relaxed. Maybe you hung out at the rest areas...thinking of those jokes.
Didn't see the Dad duck with the mama and babies, he must be a deadbeat duck😂
When I went to Disneyland last week me and my friends went on the canoes and we had to wait in line 15 minutes because there was such a long line
Chris are considering doing a similar video for the DCA side? I feel like there may be fewer R and R spots over there, however I may be wrong. Thanks again!
Omg I remember when you guys were pushing Miles around in a stroller!
The best resting spot at Disneyland is the new Disney Vacation Club’s members-only Star View Station and Lounge in Tomorrowland. Plushy seating, air conditioning, free soft drinks, and rest rooms.

you got me rolling with the churros joke lol.
I love your walk around with ambient sounds a the park. It lets me feel like I am there.
I need to know what lipstick Amanda is wearing! It’s so pretty!
I was just thinking about your other video
about places to rest. Thanks for this one.
I love your puns. 😁🤣
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💕💕💕🤣
Okay, now for resting places at DCA!
It was great to see you when I was with my client Bennett and the electric wheel chair. Hope you have a great day definitely made our trip
It was my pleasure. 💙💚
My daughter and I ate a strawberry cookie and Tigger Tail per your recommendation in that corner besides Pooh Corner on our last trip! It was so good!
I'm sure I've done all those at one time or another I like resting 😉 And posing Amanda 🔥 and Miles in training as the punny jokester 😂
Those baby ducklings! ❤️❤️❤️
I had no idea some of these existed and I come here all the time 😊
Haven’t been to Tom’s island since I was a kid. I am definitely going next month.
Be sure to go in dead man's grotto. It's the best.
LOVE hearing Ghost Riders in the Sky on Frontierland!!! And I saw Roberto on the Twain awhile back and was like... I know him! lol
I wish you could have heard the gasp my husband had when you said "Disney wasn't making churros any longer"...lol
🤣🤣🤣💚💙
Your favorite spot is mine too! I loved watching the logs after they went down the drop on Splash Mountain. Nobody is ever over there.
Thank you! as a Papa bringing my kids and grandkids down this year, I will use those spots!
During a big day - I love to take a nap! Those super secret spots are the best
Ahhh! So cool seeing my uncle Roberto in the vids.
I wish they would bring back an attraction at the boat dock. Maybe an Ursula themed spinning ride.
I am super excited because me and my wife will be there in September for our 15 year anniversary. Can't wait to be back in Disney again. Thank you for always showing us everything
One time my friends and I fall asleep for like an hour on the train. We pulled an all nighter to get to Disneyland
I love your Dad jokes!
That was just quackers 🤣
We love the train! 🚂 My daughter and I have gone to only ride the train around a few times with some snacks, just to enjoy the time together, the view of Disneyland and to people watch! We agree with you, a very relaxing things to do! ❤
My favorite rest areas are the sit down restaurants you need reservations for. Food, water, AC, and Disney Magic.
You are awesome, funny (don't stop those wonderful jokes), informative, real. We watch every video! ❤❤❤
I needed this video last June around 3pm after rope dropping.
Disneyland Railroad naps are the BEST! I am a person that has to chill throughout the day if I wanna open and close the parks so this video is right up my alley! There is a little cove with tables under the old people mover launch spot. #3 was my grandfather's favorite.
The #4 spot is my favorite! It's not that crowded; you are in the middle of everything; and the water and shade helps to keep you cool. Love this location!

Thank you for all of your amazing posts!
Thanks for these quiet spaces to take a break. I will definitely visit some of them when I’m there in 10 days!!!!!
Love the channel. May not be a secret but the first aid station behind the red wagon was a great spot when my boys were little. Water refills a/c and restroom. And the nurses are gold.
Hey Chris honorable mention the observation deck for finding Nemo air conditioning and all :)
Thanks for sharing!
You bet. 💙💚
That is one of the things I love about Disneyland. There are lots of places where you can relax. One of my favorites is right beside City Hall just inside the burm.

What about snow white's grotto? That's a beautiful and usually very empty place to just chill out. Plus a great view and no where for kids to run
12:08 That looks like the Burger King King Head!
Disney days are long - a treat and a quiet place is a must! Appreciate this vlog ☺
Chris, I love your inspirational messages in the middle of your videos. Of course, I always love your puns & dad jokes!
How about Launch Bay? It’s nice and dark and the air conditioning rocks on a hot day. I like to take naps on the benches in there. So good.
Am pretty positive my parents would have known about the best rest places in the early 1960 through my Dad's work. my favorite resting spot is inside the Abraham Lincoln theatre
Very useful. Thank you!
❤ your words of encouragement
Thank you for your message! I needed to hear it today! Love your positivity and appreciate the Disney videos!
Excellent, excellent video. I requested a video like this, and boom, I got it! Thanks!
Scared me with that churro joke! Haha
Gonna look for these next time.
