I’m not religious at all, but this man is admirable. What made me listen to everything that you had to say about fixing this car is that you speak succinctly and clearly. So many you tubers put so much noise into their videos. They don’t get to the point, but this gentleman made it easy for me to watch and I could fully understand what he was teaching. And just FYI, I am white, if some people are saying such things to you, it’s because they are insane. This is excellent! I'm an industrial technician with many years of experience and I do most of my own automotive repairs but I'd never thought of locating the position of the leaks this way. On a V6 engine, this could save you from having to remove the head on one side if it's still good
I am a tech over 49 yrs and you just floored me with this trick. I have always used the leak down test. This is a new practice for me, Thanks for the old school tip

Water in engine oil will not evaporate on its own, so what's his next clip going to be? How to do an oil change twice in an effort to flush out the water?

Wow this really helped me, thank you so much!!! Last time I took my car to the mechanic they put oil in my overflow tank and said it was $350. Being a single mom who lost her job I had no choice but to educate myself and because of people like you posting these videos I was able to fix my own car. One question. Know I can’t pinpoint the exact cylinder for a head gasket leak doing it this way, but can I simply remove the radiator cap without disconnecting or removing plugs, fuses, etc., and simply crank over the engine and watch the coolant at the cap to at least make a quick determination whether or not my head gasket’s blown? In other words, in case I’m not being clear, can I just simply go to my car, remove only the radiator cap, start it up and watch the coolant at the cap while the car is running? I think you pretty much say as much in this video.

after watching your various videos i did a head gasket on an 09 civic.sanded the very warped head on plates of glass snagged off cl for free.sand paper from h.w. store...cheap.worked like a charm.took a chance on there being no cracks in block or head.still runs great after 2 years.many thanks to you,sir.if i'm ever in oakland i'll look you up.
