I usually use the Jigpara spin for jetty bonito, they usually commit to it majority of the time.
New favorite mack bait, also noticed the action is very light, normally use a 3/4ounce (20g) but a 1 ounce(30g) is doable with my rod and not fatiguing.

I use a 40 gram iron and burn it up from the bottom 3 times a cast, ussually works well. Been slaying it at the south jetty point
I caught a big sting ray with one of those at Spanish landing. Lost the lure tho. Tried to get the ray out the water but broke smh. First time using it too

u said tuesday if that was the 15th i went to IB pier bc i had the day off work because my bday and i limited on the biggest bonito ive ever caught from a pier ! and some one right next to me caught a 9 frickin pounder !!
Bro I was out there last week they were boiling up about 10ft out n front of me then stopped but just kept following up to the rocks...freakn pissed
can you do a video how to catch yellowfin croaker ( I don't know exactly what specie that is but I'm assuming) at the entrance ( dog beach), I saw they jumping out of the water like crazy but couldn't catch any of them.
Jumping out the water? Yellowing croaker are bottom feeders. The only fish I've seen that jumps out of the water is Grey Mullet and it's not very well known how to catch them.
