Why hello there.
I use a floro leader I think it makes all the difference, then a simple dropper loop set up.
Anyone else notice @
You can't go wrong with squid on reverse dropper loop. I usually fish the surf and with current I can't really run a sliding egg sinker without being half way down the beach haha 😂
A reverse dropper loop with a a smaller hook but a big chunk of squid
the tug is the drug! i digg it! never heard that before but so true
Badass video like always keep up the good work. Tight lines🤙
Try adding a bead between the hook and the egg sinker.
yaaaa tony! its time for a kayak lil bro. ill get one if u get one lol
Your teasing lol 80 degrees its 99degrees in Phoenix Sunday evening 10:37pm lol
How pound test is good for doing that?
Good stuff. Id like to just pull over and fish too bro. Info on rigging was great man👍👊🍻
Cannonball/bottom scratcher works best for bat in my experience and for shark I’ll use anything from a pulley rig to a 76 rig for casted stuff. Squid for bat and fresh dead Mac or sardine for shark for sure
Nice catch my friend 😎🎣👍🏼
I fish that rig a lot up in Newport for the rays. We call it a cannonball rig (the slider sinker with a hook) Might wanna try adding a bead in between just to make your knot a little more secure. If you haven't check out Saturday night bat fight its a yearly free tournament for bat rays. Its a great time.
What I’ve heard that rig called is a knocker rig in San Fran I normally use a Carolina rig with a 7/0 gamakatsu mosquito circle hooks with big baits for sharks and rays I’ve caught a couple 4+ feet sharks, stripers, halibut, and 100+ lbs rays
where is that at
Squid and fresh mackerel not frozen 3-6 oz pyramid weight on top 60-80 pound braid
That’s my go too rig bro🤟🏼
I do like your channel , I watch ya from Northwestern Missouri. FISHON 🤙🏽
