    Keep the vids coming, always learn something new and always inspiring. I use the 42g colt sniper for that same application and the sandies just go crazy for it.

    Looks pretty trippy yakking in the dark. But I will try it one day. That was some nice Sandies 💪

    • @WARBAITS
      @WARBAITS  6 лет назад

      100% trippy. Guys were running full speed, creating waves and the tide was ripping. I left early. Need more lights on the Hobie. Let's roll though!

    Dude... that first sandy... dude... Holy cow! That's how u do it! Great catch man. I will catch one like that one day soon. Just crawling now from watching ur videos. How do u stay on the structure with the yak? Do you find urself resetting and drifting back over? I don't see you pedalling much, or is it the magic of editing? Thanks again for sharing all of the info!

    • @WARBAITS
      @WARBAITS  6 лет назад

      Thanks for the support! That sandy was large!
      The structure was rocks in a long pattern in 40ft. The current was ripping. So I'd peddle up to the beginning of the structure and drift over the structure with the current. Once I got to the end of the structure, I'd re-set. I didn't get bites every time, they were kinda off to the side of the structure. The structure was mean though, lost 4 of those metal jigs.

    Awesome night session. What type of inflatable pfd do you use? My normal pfd would have me looking like the Michelin man if I wore it under my jacket.

    • @WARBAITS
      @WARBAITS  6 лет назад

      I typically use a Hobie Inflatable Life Jacket - PFD (manual inflation). It's the kind that lays flat against your body and around your neck. I think for future night missions, I'm going to use a more standard PFD. It was freaky out there that night. I came in early because there were a few boats running fast up and down the channel.

      WARBAITS FISHING yeah the cost guard /military boats don't care and be zooming. They are also deadly quiet.

    They’ll bite even when you’re not actively moving the swimbait??

    • @WARBAITS
      @WARBAITS  6 лет назад +1

      Yes, They eat it on the pause. Pop it off the bottom a few times and then pause the bait on the bottom. They'll take advantage of the bait sitting there. It looks like a feeding baitfish. Also, this is specially true when using the Slug plastic. I added the underspin for flash and vibration.

    Do you like the outback more then that compass? Torn between the two.

    • @WARBAITS
      @WARBAITS  6 лет назад +1

      Thats a great question. Both are great Fishing platforms. The Compass is great for the price and be upgrade if needed. The Outback has an adjustable seat and more hatches. I suggest demo-ing them both before buying. Good luck!
