An interesting fact is that the champion Miis are different, for example, instead of Matt being the boxing champion, it is actually pit, the champions are arguably HARDER than the original, but this game is kind of hard to see if it’s good or bad, it’s is a 7 out of 10. I think it is a bit better from the original because it had online but not by much, but it has even more content than the original such as the training mode and sub modes
My biggest flex is that I own a physical copy of Wii Sports Club PAL 💪 I loved the game, it was disappointing it had barely anything resembling resort but younger me thought this was a beautiful looking game in HD
I played a trial version of this game last year, and from my experience, it was alright. They were about the same as some of their counterparts from either the original in cases like Tennis and Baseball, or in Resort like with Bowling and Golf. As for Boxing, I thought was a downgrade not just in control, but with it also lacking the energetic battle and the funny rag-doll effects the original had. I will say it was kinda cool to play online with other people, but if I’m gonna be honest, I much prefer the original and Resort, but that’s just me.
Funny how the original Wii sports still holds up quite well in presentation and gameplay, it's so easy to get into It's still basically the only game I play with my family

There’s actually a way to view slopes in golf! It can show how the slopes are, with lower parts being darker green and higher parts being lighter green I think. I think it’s either the 1 or 2 button? Can’t remember, one of those. It was in resort too.

The thing with this game is it's not even a new separate game really. It's just the original Wii Sports, not even a remake properly speaking (more of a remaster, I'm pretty sure it's built directly off the original game's codebase, with the possible exception of Boxing because that looks like it was actually _remade,_ and for the worse), but updated with Wii U features like the gamepad and and improved motion controls implemented into it. In fact, that's exactly what the game was when the Wii U was first shown off: while they updated the models and visuals for the final release, the first footage seen showed it to be just Wii Sports 1 with all the same visuals and original assets from the Wii and whatnot but with new Wii U features added to showcase what the Wii U could do, the gamepad in particular. But then they decided to update the visuals (and also wash out all the colors for some reason), add online stuff and new training modes, and then rebrand it as its own new distinct title and entry when it's really not, it's just Wii Sports on the Wii U, basically just an enhanced update to the original (with the exception of Boxing, that was a downdate).
im gonna disagree with a few things here: 1) modern pop isn't a standard. Thoughty2 made a video explaining how pop music has SCIENTIFICLY gotten worse ever since streaming (spotify and such) became a thing 2) the game being in HD might have hurt the graphics because it looks like a Wii game but in HD and in this case it just looks off. I would say that graphic wise Switch Sports looks better
You know, if only Reggie or Iwata held the Wii U up when talking about it and said "This is the Wii U" at E3 2011, we might've been singing a different tune. Then again, if it weren't for the gamepad, it looks like a longer Wii

Yes. YES!!! RUSHING OUT TO BUY THE EXACT SAME GAME like the sequel(actually a demake.) of the original Wii sports but, there’s a twist. It has less sports now.
I personally believe this game to be worse than Nintendo Switch Sports, due to simply being Wii Sports but with decent Wii Motion Plus controls (except for Boxing being horrible). And the system for getting the sports just made no sense. I just got all of the sports in one fell swoop back when I first got my Wii U to treat it like a normal retail game. But yeah I can't believe I wasted 40 dollars on wanting to play online Wii Sports only to be pretty disappointed twice within a ten year span. In my opinion Wii Sports Club is a 20 dollar eShop game in disguise and Switch Sports is a 25 dollar eShop game in disguise. Regardless, excited to see how this turns out in a few hours.

My biggest issue with switch sports is not that the Miis are gone (yes funny Twitter man, i know a Mii mask is in the game) or that it released unfinished. It's the lack of variety. Nintendo switch sports had 6 sports, 3 of then are VERY, VERY similar (Tennis, badminton and volleyball) and 2 are from previous games (that which would not be an issue if those weren't the only sports.) and only 1 of them is original in some way Compared to club it has 5 sports, which is 1 less but the sports are very varied Wii Sports Club also had AT LEAST 3 additional side modes for each sport, which sometimes could be counted as thier own sport Nintendo switch sports has only 2. Not 2 per sport, only 2 in total. - Bowling - Spin control (which was in EVERY Wii sports game) - Soccer - Shootout (a very basic minigame) If you buy Nintendo switch sports while owning all 3 other games, the only new thing you get is soccer and some goofy looking XBOX avatars

They ruined boxing, which was really disappointing. Boxing was way more fun in the original

The boxing musics is actually intended to emulate the sounds of loud audiences in a boxing match.
