Hey all, many of you are asking who we booked this trip with. We used Nagi of the Mekong. The price also included the over night stay in Pakbeng😁 nagiofmekong.com/
I like the way you go to little, unknown places and make them famous. You two are absolutely down-to-earth travellers willing to try out everything a country, town or village offers.
The kids in the village are adorable and cute. They've a place in Leanne's heart I bet. Leanne is such a kind and generous lady - you'll never see her without the signature smile in all the vids.
Travelling is not something I'm likely to do, but I love watching videos of people's adventures. Your channel is one of the best. Thanks for sharing xx
Hi Leanne and Dan you guys are doing great and one of my favorite couple. I am from punjab and cordially invites you to come and explore about life here. surprisingly you also improved my english language skills. Have a great evening and am eagerly waiting for new vlogs. Let me know if you are visiting soon am big fan of you guys.
Nice to see there's a "luxury slow boat cruise from Thailand down to Luang Prabang. And having the room included in the overall price with those views, along with fruits and drinks (food for those who eat) looks great. Thanks for sharing.
You guys know what to do and where to go. So your contents are really nice. Also even your communications are well planned. I mean brief and to the point.
Hello, Malaysian here! :D Wow, the boat is really interesting, I would love to experience it! The hairy fruit is called Rambutan! I really love eating it cold after putting it in the fridge :) And that hotel, oh my gosh it's a gorgeous place indeed! Can't wait to see your adventure in Luang Prabang
Incredible! Fellow South African here... I absolutely LOVE your videos! I've probably watched like a 100 of your videos over the past few weeks since I discovered you on RUclips Shorts. PLEASE dont stop making videos! It brightens my day to see a new video on my home page! Love you guys! Keep up the good work! Cheers from back home!
So happy I came across your channel!! I wanted to do this exact same land trip border crossing and start vlogging back in the day, but didn't. Thanks for sharing everything here! Can't wait for your next video, cheers guys!
Off we go on another adventure.... The hairy fruit is called a rambutan....This is such a unforgettable experience i reckon.... And accommodation is pretty awesome in a place like this .... and Laos is one of the poorest country in South East Asia... and might be the most underrated as well... pretty sure many tourists will eventually come and visit this place......Still thanks for sharing and showing us.... Looking forward to the rest of the journey... Cheers from JB / Singapore..!!
100% agree... think Laos is slowly but surely going to start becoming a hotspot for tourists😁 and I hope it does so that the people of Loas can benefit😁
Hey guys! We get a bunch of those lychee like things over here in Thailand. It’s call Rambutam. So delicious. This looks like an awesome trip we wanna do it one day. Thanks for sharing 😊
Did this 2 day trip almost 10 years ago on my first backpacking trip and really liked that journey. Not sure if these boats existed back then but they look far more comfortable (although luckily our boat wasn't too crowded). Don't think hotels like that were there yet either, and we just turned up to get what was available. Sadly our first moments in Pak Beng started off with a pickup rushing past us into town, opposite our hotel, with a young boy who had just drowned in the river and loads of people gathered at that house to mourn all thorugh the night.
Nothing is wrong with Wikipedia. That's a concern people had YEARS ago. Wikipedia always relies on credible sources. Also Wikipedia also says it's the 12th longest river as well. So idk what your buddy saw.
Yes and no. A lot of their information now comes from sources that aren’t verifiable, therefore cannot be fact. A bit like how they describe new world order as a “right wing conspiracy theory” when in actual fact it’s listed on the WEF website. That’s just a tip of the iceberg in the last few years something has happened to it which is really unfortunate. I’m not saying it can’t be trusted it’s very good for a lot of information however it’s not fact unequivocally. You should still check the information yourself.
I did that trip 20 years ago and at that time there were no such luxury boats.. I remember the engine sound was deafening, almost impossible to talk.. We solved it with getting piss drunk and passing out.. Young boys :)
Doing youtubing my self live in a lovely village near khon thailand people are brilliant everyone so respectful Going into laos myself next week for a little vlog going upto lam prabang Just love Asia the culture most people you meet are wonderful Glad I retired here cheers guys❤❤
Thanks. Great video. Considering this trip. We have two bags each…did others on the boat have more luggage than you did? How was the food served on board?
Hey! I am loving following your trip so far! I will be going solo to southeast asia and I soooo have this on my list. I was wondering what package did you get to get that nice acomodation? Standard, Sanctuary or Le Grande? That would be a huge help to make me finally choose :)
Nice filming guys. So how much did this luxury boat ride cost and did it include the hotel you stayed in or was that extra and if so how much for that?
Ha ha .. thanks buddy.. this trip videos are very interesting.. cool.. back waters video in India was short .. this one for 2 days. we need to plan a kindle for leanne .. it will reduce some weight from your bag 🙂
