We stayed in in $90 / R1400 a night bunker in South Africa. This has to be one the most unique accommodations that we have stayed in.
We found this bunker on Lekkestaap and when seeing it, it was a must for us to spend 2 nights in one of South Africa's most unique accommodations.
This Bunker is located near Oudtshoorn, De Rust and is known a Aardts. This place is built by the owner Abrie and his helper, Andrew and is definitely one of the most unique that we have seen. Designed to leave you away from the distractions of the world and just bask in nature. It's an accommodation that left us wanting to go back by the time we have left.
The outdoor shower, private bond fire area, swimming pool/jacuzzi... and all of this in the middle of nowhere, what else could you ask for. It's located near Oudtshoorn in a place call De Rust.

This bunker design is such a cool idea for homes of the future. I can imagine a whole community like this.
You have to put water in the bottom tank put the first filter into it ! Scoop coffee into that part you did!
Screw the top on and put it on the stove with the lid closed hehe.
Wait for the coffee to filter into the top tank.
And you will have amazing coffee ☕ cin cin

What a beautiful and unique setting for an AirBnB . Every part of the decoration and build is fantastic, such a creative use of the land and materials, though the squeal from the bathroom door would get annoying quickly.

Moka pot is an art. You must put very hot water in the bottom first. After that add your coffee and filter.
Most folks just put cold water, coffee etc and seal it. It will result in burnt tasting coffee.

Hello, The bunker underground is really beautiful with a perfect house. You can travel across South Africa by your own car, not l on bus or train like in other countries

You have to keep the cover on the pool to keep the heat from escaping, until you ready to get in, will be warmer.
Some advise for building a fire with fire lighters, place the wood inside the donkey, pack it as you would pack blocks, two parallel two lateral in tower formation, close off the top of your twoer and place the fire lighters on top of the wood, then set them alight. Your fire will start much faster and burn easily, same applies with brickettes, through the bag out and place the fire lighters on top then set alight

Water underneath the coffee filter, coffee in the coffee filter and then you put it on the stove or fire to start filtering upwards.
Nice and rustic outdoor living. It's cooler underground. but winter it's not an idea.

You are supposed to boil that water then it bubbles up through the coffee into the pot... then u can pour it out 😅
By now I'm sure you have figured out how to make coffee in that pot on the gasstove. The attempt to make coffee was very funny though...an extraordinary place to stay, wow.

That my dear sir is called a moka pot
You filled it up with water to the small copper release valve there is
Then coffee in filter
Then you boil it until all the water is up top
Essentially the moka pot brews espresso shots
You have some that do 6 shots and some do 8 shots
Then you get me that drink the 6 shots a cup of coffee
This all sounds like science😂 clearly we not fancy coffee people😂
