It was finally time !
My 2023 Outlander XT 1000R vs my 2022 PDrive equipped Can Am DS Turbo 120 X3 Drag race . With a bonus 20 Roll race Thrown in ! Results were surprising but close to my projections .

Yes I agree on the 2wd. Until I could see how the 1k outty was going to respond I knew 4wd would help keep the front end down , plus on some of that black top my brutes would break the rear tires loose. The last time I floored the X3 on it it broke the rear tires loose as well , so we just opted to launch both in 4hi lol.
Also the PDrive I have in my base X3 does rob a hair of low end as it’s designed for the 200hp X3. The outlander is impressive out the hole ! The X3 killed it on a roll though .

So what’s the outlander top speed I have the same one and really want to know
78-79 ish . Most hit the limiter there , with a tune probably 82 -83 ish . Of course conditions and machine set up all make a difference.

@@poplishous6638 Naw bud , I do 80% trail and mountains and 20% mud so it benefits me more to stay with a trail build .
Now that being said if we ever came across a great used deal for a mud machine we wouldn’t mind having a mud rig cause I do still enjoy mudding sometimes too .
Why no helmet?
