Charlie Lei yes!! They did such a good job on line distribution this time! He’s voice shone in the Untold Truth too! This album is really solid, and they experimented with so many different genres! The wait was so so worth it
I got into bts in 2014, but when "Run" came out in 2015 I was just SHOOK. Since then, Run has been my favourite bts title track and nothing has topped it. BUT FAKE LOVE THOUGH I GOT THE CHILLS THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE SONG THE CHOREO, THE VOCALS, THE RAPPING, THE INSTRUMENTAL, THE VISUALS, THE OUTFITS EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS COMEBACK IS A MASTERPIECE THIS IS THE COMEBACK OF THE CENTURY
‘親愛な strangely enough, I thought they used phones for a certain reason. I felt like through the phone or any technology, we try to project a fake perfect self online to meet another fake perfect self of a person. It's a fake profile for others, so in a way, fake love.
xXD3STINYXx this is linked to their ongoing storyline tho, so maybe it's about tae and namjoon's story? you know, with tae calling namjoon for help after he got arrested but namjoon not answering aka the cellphone turning to dust. and the whole save me/i'm fine thing which connects to namjoon and tae as well (the love yourself poster),, sighhhh bts and their complex storylines hhhhhhhh
Francesca Martino because we didn't actually get to see what tae traded in to get the backpack the fake love first teaser, I feel like a cellphone may have been one of the possibilities.
OMG RM just said it on an interview that there will be a reference of see no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil in the choreography and you were able to point that out! You are so observant!!! Wow!
By the way, the snickers aren't symbolism for drugs. They're most likely a callback to the snickers bar Hobi's mother left behind with him when she seemingly abandoned him in the highlight reel. Also love your analysis of this song, it really made me appreciate it heaps more :)
I do think his hypothesis is plausible. 🤔 We can compare the scene of J-Hope laying on Snicker bars with one in the MAMA short clip, where J-Hope is also seen among a bunch of pills. In addition, people who stop taking drugs often crave chocolate because of the direct link with the release of endorphin- this often being a substitute for drugs and alcohol which have the same effect on the brain. But honestly, I don't even know anymore. 🤣
Hmm true, that's a pretty good analysis. There's also a theory that the snicker bars represent his fear and that's why he's trying to close the door but the snickers bar i.e. his fear comes through anyway? Ah my head hurts too XD
Nicole Johnson Both of those are right. Hoseok takes drugs in MVs to make himself ill and receive care from others. In MAMA short movie he’s in the room full of pills and he takes them and after he comes out of the room he takes Snickers out of his pocket and takes a bite.
im so proud of jimin i hope he knows his voice is so unique and beautiful his tone is really rare and his vocals improved so much even tho he didn't take vocal lessons before debut like the rest of the boys I'm so happy just shows how much of a hard worker he is he got to shine this album especially vocally and serendipity was a big step to that ahh I'm sooooo happy were so proud of u jimin :''')
I agree. I felt like it was supposed to be an opposite to DNA. I feel like this song was one of their most different and difficult, particularly for the vocal line. I love your breakdown. This song gives me goosebumps.
i think thats great about bts (and perhaps in other kpop groups idk im not in too deep in other groups yet) but compared to western artists, they tend to stay in the same lane all the time. bts tries out different sounds, some sound 'like bts' some dont. (imo everything is bts bc they make it lol). obviously some who loved ly her wont love tear, and the other way around. and i think thats fine.
ann I loved ly and I love the tear album. And I completely agree with the other things. I personally think western songs all sound the same but bts and kpop in general really bring different sounds into their songs. It’s like you can’t categorize it into a genre because it has a lot of different sounds. I love all genres so I love every song and I love it when they change things up a bit :)
Actually according another army's theory DNA is about a childish sort of love (".. I want it .. real love..) whereas Fake Love is about realizing that love wasnt actually real and begin to realize the truth so somehow it does connect.
I agree with you, it really had a lot of screen time for all of them, but Jimin stuck out the most. Also when the block thingy came out of the waterfall I was like "How much money did they spend on that!!" And the constant contrasting but also recurring dark theme was a really clever aesthetic play. And I missed Suga as well, just before he showed up I was just thinking "Okay now Suga needs to show up, I haven't seen him at all yet." XD
GucciTae nope I want BTS sound and that sound no is so western. You got it? I'm not a hater. I like BTS but I like powerful songs like dope, fire, silver's spoon or Mic Drop. Actually I love it FAKE LOVE and I hope enjoy the complete album in few days. For the moment, Singularity, Fake Love and The Outro are my favorites. I'm listen metal music I don like it Latin sounds. Middy Lps "is almost as angelic" was that meant to be a compliment?? His vocals are the most angelic of the 4 vocalists. He is technically their best singer with the most stable vocals out of the 4 vocalists. Need I go on??
The lyrics are so dark and beautiful. I also am a sucker for emotional pop songs, so this song BLOWS me away. I love this song, jimin voice is indeed perfect for the chorus. DECEASED. Can't wait for people to be shocked at the BBMAS. The prechorus is beautiful! Favourite lyric: 'I wish love was as perfect as love itself' (also all those links to HYYH storyline were INSANE. Jungkook is the boy from Omelas who has to suffer for the others to be happy. I think we he realises that and wants to escape, that's when Jimin started to be surrounded by water and Yoongi in the fire room. INSANE)
waiting for them live perfomances. his voice isnt the strongest so its alwys easier to record it on a studio where hes staying still versus dancing while performing. hopefully his voice sounds just as amazing live!
Love Jimin's vocals, been with him since 2014 and still my bias. He has matured with his vocals, but now he is something to be reckoned with. I hope he does some solos with a great song, not leaving Bts because that will never happen. So someday I hope he ventures out to do something on his own, he is amazing performer and vocalist.
If you’ve been following PD for a while, you would have known that he used to forget that Jimin was actually in the group, but NOW he’s really into him!!! I call it JIMIN’s POWER!!!!
Yeah you got everything right, the guitar line and the EDM elements are perfectly combined, Jimin and V's harmonies in the end were georgeous, and Jimin and Jin slayed the chorus. About the video what can I say, it is beautifully done, the visuals were on point and the special effects were excellent. Fake Love has everything I want musically, lyrically and visually. And the album is great too, they all shined in their writing and their producing and if Jungkook doesn't joke and he really is doing a mixtape, I am excited for it because the production in Magic Shop is flawless. 10/10 for me too.
7:34 "I've become a sucker for Jimin" This is me in a nutshell. I really love how you pay attention to everything and every member, they all did such an amazing job in this album. I'm so proud of them. Thank you for your reaction!
I feel like this brought back some of the older BTS song's flairs thus making me already like it way more than the DNA stuff (the choreo is also just a bomb) and I appreciate it so so much that Jin got so many freaking lines !♥ =)
Nate Ortañez honestly all of the songs amazed me. let me be honest with you chief. love yourself her was not bad in the slightest but compared to wings or any of their older albums i was not AS in love with it. so i was almost nervous to hear tear?? but. this album was everything i could've wanted and more. i was deadass crying and didn't even realize it when i listened to fake love then just kept on crying when i listened to the album. there are the slower songs like the truth untold ofc then the upbeat ones like airplane pt. 2 but all i'm trying to say is this album is fantastic. i love them
Alyssa Eileen I AGREE. i was kinda nervous for ly tear but when it came out i’m just so pleased bc it sounds so good. i got emotional listening to fake love and magic shop. i think ly tear is a really really nice album.
My favourite bts song as always been Danger and that's mainly bcz of Jimin voice in that song. Since then I have always been in love with Jimin's voice and this song did it for me, Jimin voice in this is super amazing and just fits so well. And Jimin AIN'T even my bias, Rapmon is....Anyways all the members did so amazingly well. Love V's voice in the beginning as well
This is exactly the reason why i want him to dig deeper on BAP tho. Speaking of breaking benjamin he needs to listen to dystopia cause breaking benjamin sound is all over that song and i need pd to listen to it 😂
I was amused at PD-nim's use of the term "old-school alt-rock" for LP& BB. Although it is a relative term, so you know... lol! For me it's the late 70's and early 80's groups which influenced bands like LP
Jin actually got 58 seconds of him singing which is...insane. A lot of it is with Jimin, but you can still clearly hear him breaking through. He really controls this whole album with Namjoon.
leave the poor user alone and let us appreciate Jin's voice! honestly, it kind of does overpower jimin's voice but you can really feel the emotions of the lyrics. jin be rising yall
I actually don't think he sings anything with Jimin in Fake Love. They swap for the chorus, but don't actually sing any of it together. He does sing with Jungkook at the very end, but I think at least half of his lines are solo during the chorus.
You, my good sir, just earned another subscriber. Your intake is just so detailed and you verbalized your emotions better than any other people who reacts/evaluates music videos on RUclips.
i love how pd gives actual criticism and not just "OMG THIS IS SO GOOD" or "KINGS OF KPOP UGHHH IM CRYING". tbh kpop reaction youtubers are usually all the same, except for pd of course lmao.
YOON MIKAELA 윤 미카엘라 or reacttothek like seriously the reactions actually matter PD understands music and the cinematography while reacttothek also just focuses on how the music is made and etc bc they're musicians(not professional tho)
YOON MIKAELA 윤 미카엘라 same there used to be one RUclipsr who was just like reactthek but he somehow disapperead and disabled all of his comments. He's a fan of Vixx
In an interview they said this album is going to be completely different because this is the Sad part of love. RM said something along the lines of that love has all kinds of different sides and this whole album is the bad or sad part of love either for yourself or other people. I think this concept of this album makes me like it more than The DNA album already! I love all the angst and emotions lol
Yoongi had said it was suppose to be a metaphor, because Pluto was once considered a planet but now it's considered a dwarf planet because it's so different from the other planets. So I think yoongi was trying to interpret that if something's different Society will separate from it. The same goes with their whole album 'Tear', the "dark side" of love, and how cruel it could be. So if the love isn't real they will separate. I dunno that's how i see it.
They have really embraced western music, I still love their old albums more, but their growth is just really, its shocking, they're continuing the legacy of the 1st and 2nd gen
indeed. theyre def continuing the legacy of 1st and 2nd gen -- Western expansion!! i like their old albums a lot too but its cool how they embraced Western music indeed -- alternative music in the lyrics, and DEFINITELY inspired by American music in general. J-Hope mumble rapping, the trap beats, the whole different style - the PRODUCTION! And the music video films! It's completely new in kpop - has happened in Western music before and then BTS twisted it into something uniquely them :D
I just love seeing others fall in love with this song, or any other great song for that matter. Something about seeing someone else feel the joy that you are experiencing at that same moment....
The song and video is so good! It can be watched over and over again and you don’t get sick of it! BTS is the only group for me that has such replay ability
jesus I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking that (it's kind of sad that it was one of the first thing that came to my mind when I was wondering if my man was actually in this mv until his part came in)
I’m still in awe at how far BTS has gone. It’s not like I’m not accepting it, I’m so happy for them but it just brings me back to the times they were called failures and the times where they couldn’t even hire their own actors for their mvs.
I also love how even though BTS songs are so different, there is always that feeling where you know it's BTS. They never lose who they truly are, or their style.
I need a few more listens of the song for me to have an opinion whether i like it or not. But DAMN NAMJOON GOT ME SHOOK WITH THE VISUAL I DIDNT EXPECT IT AND NOW I'M QUESTIONING MY ENTIRE EXISTENCE
OldSchoolVibed Ahgase yeah same. I listened to the entire album and surprisingly I love those songs more than I love Fake Love. I mean I still like it though but it'd take a few more listens in order for me to really like it
OldSchoolVibed Ahgase oh babe, the connect by monsta x was a GEM!! I haven't listened to Tear yet so i couldn't judge, but Her didn't impress me, i hope i can love Tear because i want to be reminded why did i love BTS so much back then
I really can't understand what do you mean by ''it's not different'' ''it's not like before'' Like it's exactly why they are different. Each album is different and they try new stuffs every time, they are never the same. Like I can understand if you prefered someone's album or a previous album because it suits your tastes better ( I think the I need you era is my fav. Then DNA era. But we didn't see everything from them yet so maybe Fake Love era will be no.1 for me soon if I keep listening to it so much lo. ) but you can't say that they do the same stuffs and are not trying differents things and that there is not this ''special thing'' I really don't understand lol. My fav. song from this album is love maze , but I really like Fake Love as well. + Fake Love and even the others songs are very different from what they did before and are pretty different from each other. If someone could explain to me why do you think that it's not different and that the ''special thing'' isn't there anymore when obviously it's still there and still very different from what they did before and other kpop group.
I was so pleased with this song and the whole album in general! I didn’t enjoy ly: her but this album is one of my favorites they’ve put out yet... bop after bop after bop
I feel like love yourself was mainly based off american pop music and at the time bts were trying to find their own sound I think they’ve got it now :)
At 2:53 I died when he said “Jin. Making his two second appearance” because this is so true but the line distribution that they gave Jin this album was awesome
I love Jimin almost screaming the chorus, too, it carries the emotions so well. It's almost as hard-hitting in Fake Love as in Don't leave me, where it leaves me speechless every fucking time. Love this comeback song! Dethrones Blood Sweat Tears for me 💜
its interesting how it makes me feel kinda sad to see a comment talking about being nostalgic for hiphop bts, and yeah i get it too, i miss it too. but seeing ppl say they r gonna unstan bts bcz they arent completely dark and hiphop anymore is disheartening. like, u can still stan em bcz of their old music ya know. no need to abandon them lol. what lifts up my mood tho is then seeing all the comment of ppl so supportive of fake love. fake love rlly got to me personally, bcz i went thru something in the past few months, and everything bts talks about in the lyrics are 100% what i felt throughout my relationship. not only that, but the music itself made me feel so happy, esp the prechorus. it was just a gr8 song to vibe to, and rlly affected me in the best way possible. i just hope ppl get past the nostalgia and the comparisons, and just enjoy the song(s) on the songs themselves, in their own self. And i hope everyone finds a song in the album that they can relate to in the same way fake love affected me. bts has rlly done a gr8 job. ive been with them since debut, and they have changed and grown so much, and while i will miss some of the old styles, i still love their new stuff and trust that they will continue to be authentic in their music and keep spreading a meaningful message in their music. love yourselves and love each other armys ;)
Yeah, but he was talking about Jimin's part (he says "Jimin's voice is piercing" when Jimin is singing so he knows). I love all the vocal line and they did great in this album, but I agree Jimin's voice really stands out in the chorus of Fake Love
RM/Namjoon wrote this song with one of the members of BTS in mind. Many of BTS songs are created from that member being a muse for RM and Suga/Yoongi. I enjoy watching new peoples reactions to BTS! Thank you!
I like how Fake Love is basically the complete opposite of DNA with the similar colors even though DNA was about how love was fate but Fake Love was about...well, fake love.
just so that you know, no cga was used in the mv, just for the phone turning into sand everything else like the floor falling while jungkook is running or the water with jimin and the fire with yoongi its all real
Anyone else really happy at the amount of Jin in the MV? Hes in the chorus with Jimin, he has a good chunk of screen time, and he also has some center moments in the choreo. I'm so happy hes getting more time front and center
I've watched several reactions to this and you're by far the best. In most reacts, people were screaching and fangirling or talking constantly and loudly. I also enjoyed how you pointing out so many different things but waited until the ending to really speak about the song.
It's no coincidence that FAKE LOVE is the only kpop song that made it into all major End Year Lists of critics (Guardian, Rolling Stones, Billboard, MTV etc)...An underrated bop in my opinion!
I'm there been with him since 2014, his vocals are really amazing. But now why are they trying to say Jin does the same high notes. Jin does some high notes it is a struggle for him, but he does alright. Jimin always has done the beautiful adlibs and high notes, which are different from Jin. Love Jin good singer, but Jimin has an amazing vocal can't compare.
KK/Jaehwan Couldn't agree more to your comment but there are always some people who got butthurt whenever Jimin is praised. To me, he's one of the strongest vocalist and I can't wait for his live performance. He's gonna slay so hard in both vocals and dance.
The diff between Army n producers, they so amazed abt choreography, lighting, camera angle, futuristic, their voice, songs etc .. Meanwhile ARMY stressing out abt Kookie Abs, and 8583857839 theories on this MV 😂 Btw, Thank you for the reaction ! We really appreciate it sm 💕💕 Love ARMY all over the world !
Harry Ha You see I still support my boys every way I can bc I think when it’s BTS these 7 guys are much more important than their music I’ve been following them since debut and tbh I really miss their old hip hop vibe to me after Run they went into more k”pop”(bc let’s not forget that kpop has lots of genres in it) and now they are going western I mean it’s fine but it discourages me they may want to try something different but because they did new styles these many last comebacks I feel like they forget their roots... Don’t get me wrong guys I just fell in love with BTS when they had their hiphop style and this comes so different to me I’m not hating at all you do you🙏🏿
I still love the songs after Run era. BS&T is one of my fave songs even tho I listen more to hip hop stuff and i love them as a people, but this comeback ... I loved how they always sounded so unique and fresh. This comeback is just the same sound as any other generic pop star has. The whole album is for me the same thing over and over and Fake love just seem so orchestrated to be a great BTS song. Like if in bighit they said '' hey, we need a great new song for bbmas so let's take a look at what people liked about bts songs a put it together'' ...
dodie's Ukulele Please point them out in this song. I don’t see that he has anything more than usual. In fact, he seemed to have more in DNA and Mic Drop.
This was so fast, thank you! Not only was Fake Love a throwback, there's a few others in the album, imo they were pretty creative some of the tracks and I LOVED THAT, I'm having a hard time picking a favorite song ;( Jin finally got more than 3 seconds of screentime and more lines, showcased his vocals, in fact, this my be my favorite BTS album when it comes to vocals... They really did that. They did the same thing they did with LY: Her, except this time the "mood" of the album goes from sad to happy. A really nice concept imo
PD being whipped for Jimin is a mood.
I feel once you go Jimin, you never go back.
Lizelle Matthews. ok thanks for not using that meme again
I MEAN, WHO WOULDNT BE
Yup. Once you Jimin, you don’t Jim-out.
It’s because we’re all whipped for Jimin lol
I love it when they pair Jimin and Jin. Their voices can be so piercing and that's my preference.
faraway min it's one of the angelic combo 💖💓💜
PD: "Jin making his 2 second apperence"
Me: "JIN HAD 45 SECONDS OF LINE TIME!!"
Yeah . I got annoyed with what he said
what he meant was the APPEARANCE at that exact video time. not his lines.
ttaejjie BTS armies are dumb. Don't bother man.
Onii Chan
i'm an official A.R.M.Y and i don't refer my fandom as dumb. its just some of us are new and still kids. and please don't call us armies. its A.R.M.Y.S or A.R.M.Ys, since 2017 new A.R.M.Ys has been arriving to our fandom ( the dna era ) and still had to know more about BTS.
Alright, my bad.
Highly intellectual group of people worshipping korean oppas.
Also what does A.R.M.Y stand for?
*Bobbs head to the beat*
"Also these lyrics are super depressing"
Oh my god, the way he saif it so nonchantly, i died 😂
Jin is singing the chorus with jimin! Their voice a so flipping perfect for it my heart fcking combusted while listening to it
Charlie Lei yes!! They did such a good job on line distribution this time! He’s voice shone in the Untold Truth too! This album is really solid, and they experimented with so many different genres! The wait was so so worth it
I never expected their voices to compliment each other so well for such a chilling chorus!
*no one can deny how good it was lyrically, musically, aesthetically, and the choreography. Period.👌🏼💕*
Camila C. exactly I agree with you. the scenes shot were so beautiful.💖💓😍😘
It;s no coincidence that FAKE LOVE is the only kpop song that made it into all major end year lists of critics...An underrated bop in my opinion!
its a master piece
"This song emotionally pops off" I couldn't have worded it any better hahaha
"Jin making his 2 second appearance." LMAO EXCEPT HE GETS 3-4 SOLID SINGING PARTS AND A PRETTY DECENT AMOUNT OF SCREEN TIME I'M SO PROUD.
I got into bts in 2014, but when "Run" came out in 2015 I was just SHOOK. Since then, Run has been my favourite bts title track and nothing has topped it. BUT FAKE LOVE THOUGH
I GOT THE CHILLS THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE SONG
THE CHOREO, THE VOCALS, THE RAPPING, THE INSTRUMENTAL, THE VISUALS, THE OUTFITS
EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS COMEBACK IS A MASTERPIECE
THIS IS THE COMEBACK OF THE CENTURY
century is an understatement. comeback of the millennium
I can't agree more
i got into bts when dope came out (i'm pretty sure a huge amount is the same as me)
same..i loved run, and then fake love came and now i'm confused lol
You are so great!
*_can you believe those lights with tae's set are phones?_*

‘親愛な yea. while my poor broke ass can't even afford 1 phone.
its flashes from the reporters camera--- he murdured his father and he have no one at that time.
OMG RM just said it on an interview that there will be a reference of see no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil in the choreography and you were able to point that out! You are so observant!!! Wow!
ellimacruth PD is an intellectual
Sharon Wah yeah i can see that!!!! And his observations are so on point. Im amazed
i want his eyes lol but seriously useful for theories

Plus the fact that nothing was actually CGI in this video, the floor falling was real, including the fire by Suga and the water coming out .
Wth? Im learning that NOW OMG
@@jocelyn9744 watch the behind the scenes of the mv shooting! It's really cool!
I agree. I felt like it was supposed to be an opposite to DNA. I feel like this song was one of their most different and difficult, particularly for the vocal line. I love your breakdown. This song gives me goosebumps.

Gwen H spot on .... say it LOUDERRRR!!!

“Jin making his 2 sec appearance” I CHOKED
태기방탄소년단의 especially ´cause it’s not true ! Suga is the one missing from this Mv sadly...
lol it's so savage hahahahaha
It seems Jin and Yoongi switches places this time lmao
I was searching for suga's lines the whole time......
Yoongi did have lines later tho
"I think I'm a sucker for Jimin", yeah, now that you realize you'll never be the same, trust me
yes!! after 5 years stanning BTS, I am still a sucker for Jimin
*The whole album is a bop*
Pufek not a surprise
Is very American sound... I need more listen. For the moment I love fake Love & the Outro
lmfao american sound pretty sure you mean latin and hip hop sound? sdfs
Pufek i
GucciTae nope I want BTS sound and that sound no is so western. You got it? I'm not a hater. I like BTS but I like powerful songs like dope, fire, silver's spoon or Mic Drop.

I'm listen metal music I don like it Latin sounds. Fu*k despacito
This come back was the best thing to ever happen to this world low key and can we just take a moment look how jin slayed them lines I'm crying
Jin need's more lines though, I mean his voice is almost as angelic as Jimin and Jungkook's voice.
BTS trash 4life exactly Jin really did his best in this album 💖💓😍😘
Middy Lps "is almost as angelic" was that meant to be a compliment?? His vocals are the most angelic of the 4 vocalists. He is technically their best singer with the most stable vocals out of the 4 vocalists. Need I go on??
"the budget for this is insane" my exact thoughts
Once you Jim-In ,you can't Jim-Out!!!
LMFAO😂😂
Lol. Now get OUT!
I've see this pun so many times that i don't even care anymore 🙃
LMFAO HAHAHAHAHAH
I'm sory who is Jin ??
The lyrics are so dark and beautiful. I also am a sucker for emotional pop songs, so this song BLOWS me away. I love this song, jimin voice is indeed perfect for the chorus. DECEASED. Can't wait for people to be shocked at the BBMAS. The prechorus is beautiful!

Taehyung Come Fight Me Oh my god EXACTLY!!! THE EXACT SECOND JUNGKOOK ESCAPES, THEIR "OMELAS" TURN TO CHAOS. I LOVE THAT.
buttbombs 2006 ‘The Most Beautiful Moment In Life’
i cried jimin really keeps surprising me with how much he improves and steps it up a hundred ways farther than you think
RIASE YOUR HAND IF YOUR PROUD OF HOW FAR JIMIN CAME AS A VOCALIST HIS TONE IS UNMATCHED HE SHOULD BE SO PROUD
ferdy ABSOLUTELY. HIS TONE HAS BECOME INCREDIBLE FROM EVEN JUST HER TO TEAR!
waiting for them live perfomances. his voice isnt the strongest so its alwys easier to record it on a studio where hes staying still versus dancing while performing. hopefully his voice sounds just as amazing live!
Love Jimin's vocals, been with him since 2014 and still my bias. He has matured with his vocals, but now he is something to be reckoned with. I hope he does some solos with a great song, not leaving Bts because that will never happen. So someday I hope he ventures out to do something on his own, he is amazing performer and vocalist.
ann
You still live with that narrative of 2014? Sad life.
Lightefilit Faylin care to explain your comment? dont get it lol
If you’ve been following PD for a while, you would have known that he used to forget that Jimin was actually in the group, but NOW he’s really into him!!! I call it JIMIN’s POWER!!!!
"Jin making his two-second appearance" THE SHADE IS REAL
hey, at least he has more lines and appearances now
Samantha Tienzo true, they're finally appreciating him more
Michael Liang yeah it's great now, he has two lines and not just a few words /s
Divya Krishnakumar yess.. I choked at that part😅 Thank god things are bit different now
Divya Krishnakumar He’s gotten more screen time and lines but still not a whole lot. *disappointed but not surprised*
omg that was so fast
shui han I agree🤣
same. didn't expect to see this until tomorrow hahaha
Ye
Underrated groups can't relate to this hahaha
Kara Kruz urmm don't say like that please other fandoms might get hurt ok😀
THE ALBUM IS AMAZING. it's still on loop
Personally Magic Shop and Undesired Love by Steve Aoki are the best
Nate Ortañez honestly all of the songs amazed me. let me be honest with you chief. love yourself her was not bad in the slightest but compared to wings or any of their older albums i was not AS in love with it. so i was almost nervous to hear tear?? but. this album was everything i could've wanted and more. i was deadass crying and didn't even realize it when i listened to fake love then just kept on crying when i listened to the album. there are the slower songs like the truth untold ofc then the upbeat ones like airplane pt. 2 but all i'm trying to say is this album is fantastic. i love them
Alyssa Eileen So true
Alyssa Eileen 100%
Alyssa Eileen I AGREE. i was kinda nervous for ly tear but when it came out i’m just so pleased bc it sounds so good. i got emotional listening to fake love and magic shop. i think ly tear is a really really nice album.
My favourite bts song as always been Danger and that's mainly bcz of Jimin voice in that song. Since then I have always been in love with Jimin's voice and this song did it for me, Jimin voice in this is super amazing and just fits so well. And Jimin AIN'T even my bias, Rapmon is....Anyways all the members did so amazingly well. Love V's voice in the beginning as well
Linkin Park and Breaking Benjamin. PD you have good taste.
he is just the right age to be growing up on that good taste! #90sKidsRock
This is exactly the reason why i want him to dig deeper on BAP tho. Speaking of breaking benjamin he needs to listen to dystopia cause breaking benjamin sound is all over that song and i need pd to listen to it 😂
i love your name
starlight baby OMG YES!!!🙌❤
I was amused at PD-nim's use of the term "old-school alt-rock" for LP& BB. Although it is a relative term, so you know... lol! For me it's the late 70's and early 80's groups which influenced bands like LP
I love Jimin's voice💛
Jin actually got 58 seconds of him singing which is...insane. A lot of it is with Jimin, but you can still clearly hear him breaking through. He really controls this whole album with Namjoon.
Jimin is still the King of high notes!
can you not
KK/Jaehwan like the other commenter said, *can you not*
leave the poor user alone and let us appreciate Jin's voice! honestly, it kind of does overpower jimin's voice but you can really feel the emotions of the lyrics. jin be rising yall
I actually don't think he sings anything with Jimin in Fake Love. They swap for the chorus, but don't actually sing any of it together. He does sing with Jungkook at the very end, but I think at least half of his lines are solo during the chorus.
Jimin got me goosebumps with that high notes. Omg
hobi and his snickers lol
Ruiha Reuben cheating on spritw
Salty Suga and cheating on the hamburgers
You, my good sir, just earned another subscriber. Your intake is just so detailed and you verbalized your emotions better than any other people who reacts/evaluates music videos on RUclips.
i love how pd gives actual criticism and not just "OMG THIS IS SO GOOD" or "KINGS OF KPOP UGHHH IM CRYING". tbh kpop reaction youtubers are usually all the same, except for pd of course lmao.
YOON MIKAELA 윤 미카엘라 or reacttothek like seriously the reactions actually matter
PD understands music and the cinematography while reacttothek also just focuses on how the music is made and etc bc they're musicians(not professional tho)
YOON MIKAELA 윤 미카엘라 HE MAKES QUALITY CONTENT
YOON MIKAELA 윤 미카엘라 same there used to be one RUclipsr who was just like reactthek but he somehow disapperead and disabled all of his comments. He's a fan of Vixx
Jimin biased! Yesssss!
This MV has no computer graphics. Like everything is a set. So suga could be lit in fire, wow.
I think you’d really like a song on the album called 134341 (or smth along those lines OTL) it’s very chill, lo-fi ish
JungSHOOK_because of_YOU it is. If you look at the lyrics, it's related to pluto and love
JungSHOOK_because of_YOU I think they did do it intentionally, considering the lyrics are kinda heartbreaking
It sounded like elevator music to me lol
stan day6 same😂😂 maybe they referencing to Hades? Since in Roman Mythology, he's called Pluto OHOHO
Who wouldn't be whipped for Jimin's voice... uri mochi slays here
They have really embraced western music, I still love their old albums more, but their growth is just really, its shocking, they're continuing the legacy of the 1st and 2nd gen
indeed. theyre def continuing the legacy of 1st and 2nd gen -- Western expansion!! i like their old albums a lot too but its cool how they embraced Western music indeed -- alternative music in the lyrics, and DEFINITELY inspired by American music in general. J-Hope mumble rapping, the trap beats, the whole different style - the PRODUCTION! And the music video films! It's completely new in kpop - has happened in Western music before and then BTS twisted it into something uniquely them :D
I want my old bts back 😔😔
there is no old bts, they have always done a different concept for every comeback your just stuck in kpop mentality that old is better move on
I could now die in peace seeing someone react the way I needed. 💓 Oooh thank you. Jimin's voice is beautiful, yes
As someone who grew up loving alternative rock, this'll probably be my favorite song if I had to choose
No one’s going to talk about V’s HARNESS???
kinky 😩
Amy Ding hot!
It goes with his leash.
Amy Ding Watch joseochoatv for someone who talks about his harness (:
RM had one aswell on his neck
Woah was not expecting this so soon
Shadow_Owl242 same here thought he'd be reacting like after a week or later.love it
I just love seeing others fall in love with this song, or any other great song for that matter. Something about seeing someone else feel the joy that you are experiencing at that same moment....
PD-NIM YOU’RE EARLY OMG I’VE BEEN WAITING
would you also mind reacting to the whole album?
First I only noticed Jimin is the best dancer in BTS for me but now he’s also the best vocalist for me too! He’s so talented and unique
IM SO HAPPY YOUR APPRECIATING JIMINS VOCALS THIS MUCH YES NO ONE CAN DO IT LIKE HIM
So true.
The song and video is so good! It can be watched over and over again and you don’t get sick of it! BTS is the only group for me that has such replay ability
SUGA IS THAT MEME OF THE DOG IN THE BURNING HOUSE THAT SAYS "its lit"
jesus I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking that (it's kind of sad that it was one of the first thing that came to my mind when I was wondering if my man was actually in this mv until his part came in)
I love your reaction the way you broke the video down. Thank you. And yes I love Jimin!
So bs&t & dna have a gorgeous son
qien noora wow... ya so right!
also danger, i think. it's not as much DNA imo
I love how we all know Fake Love is the 'son' not the 'daughter' 😂
qien noora emo son
And it's alternate version in the BTS storyline is I Need U. :P
"Jin making his 2 second appearance"
I don't know whether to laugh or cry...
I’m living for Jimin and his hair
I’m still in awe at how far BTS has gone. It’s not like I’m not accepting it, I’m so happy for them but it just brings me back to the times they were called failures and the times where they couldn’t even hire their own actors for their mvs.
PD YOU R SO FAST THANK YOU SO MUCH OMG
I also love how even though BTS songs are so different, there is always that feeling where you know it's BTS. They never lose who they truly are, or their style.
I need a few more listens of the song for me to have an opinion whether i like it or not. But DAMN NAMJOON GOT ME SHOOK WITH THE VISUAL I DIDNT EXPECT IT AND NOW I'M QUESTIONING MY ENTIRE EXISTENCE
starlight baby NAMJOON *IS* A VISUAL
OldSchoolVibed Ahgase yeah same. I listened to the entire album and surprisingly I love those songs more than I love Fake Love. I mean I still like it though but it'd take a few more listens in order for me to really like it
what even true
OldSchoolVibed Ahgase oh babe, the connect by monsta x was a GEM!! I haven't listened to Tear yet so i couldn't judge, but Her didn't impress me, i hope i can love Tear because i want to be reminded why did i love BTS so much back then
I really can't understand what do you mean by ''it's not different'' ''it's not like before''
Like it's exactly why they are different.
7:25
"first love even, I love first love but I would put this first"
*Speech 100*
I was so pleased with this song and the whole album in general! I didn’t enjoy ly: her but this album is one of my favorites they’ve put out yet... bop after bop after bop
ALSO I totally agree with the alternative rock thing!!! The guitar really reminded me of Breaking Benjamin.
They are just bopping true this year ...😍
Shadow_Owl242 I agree, I didn’t really like ly: her as much as I like ly: tear. So far, this album is really pleasing me, it’s so beautiful.
I feel like love yourself was mainly based off american pop music and at the time bts were trying to find their own sound I think they’ve got it now :)
R- li i was just thinking abt this! Yeah you're correct, ly her was more like experimenting with the american pop-ish sound
"i'm a sucker for a very very emotional pop song.." same...
When you get the notification for the reaction while you were watching fake love😂🌝
At 2:53 I died when he said “Jin. Making his two second appearance” because this is so true but the line distribution that they gave Jin this album was awesome
L T I also couldn’t help but laugh at that. I’m glad, though, that Jin is finally getting the lines he deserves.
I love Jimin almost screaming the chorus, too, it carries the emotions so well. It's almost as hard-hitting in Fake Love as in Don't leave me, where it leaves me speechless every fucking time. Love this comeback song! Dethrones Blood Sweat Tears for me 💜
Screaming the chorus what?Jimin sings not scream
1st: I said *almost*. Of course he *sings*, but very loudly.
2nd: Have you seen the performance?
Bs and t will never be dethroned 😂😂 it will always be the number 1
I got a headache lmao
its interesting how it makes me feel kinda sad to see a comment talking about being nostalgic for hiphop bts, and yeah i get it too, i miss it too. but seeing ppl say they r gonna unstan bts bcz they arent completely dark and hiphop anymore is disheartening. like, u can still stan em bcz of their old music ya know. no need to abandon them lol. what lifts up my mood tho is then seeing all the comment of ppl so supportive of fake love. fake love rlly got to me personally, bcz i went thru something in the past few months, and everything bts talks about in the lyrics are 100% what i felt throughout my relationship. not only that, but the music itself made me feel so happy, esp the prechorus. it was just a gr8 song to vibe to, and rlly affected me in the best way possible.
i just hope ppl get past the nostalgia and the comparisons, and just enjoy the song(s) on the songs themselves, in their own self.
The first part of the chorus is Jimin but the second is Jin
Jungkook, too.
It's the 4 vocalist actually lol.
He knows that, I think..
I'm pretty sure he knows. It's hard not to recognize Jimin's tone.
Yeah, but he was talking about Jimin's part (he says "Jimin's voice is piercing" when Jimin is singing so he knows). I love all the vocal line and they did great in this album, but I agree Jimin's voice really stands out in the chorus of Fake Love
Sometimes I forget how fake love hits in the feel but like damn
ah yes, forgetting again
I can’t wait for the listening party! The album is so diverse and every song is unique, yet they all flow together so perfectly
PD give Jin some love too!! He shared the chorus with Jimin and slayyyyyyed, our boy got so many lines and so much screentime, i'm so proud of him
this album is sooo crazy. each song is an individual bop.
RM/Namjoon wrote this song with one of the members of BTS in mind. Many of BTS songs are created from that member being a muse for RM and Suga/Yoongi. I enjoy watching new peoples reactions to BTS! Thank you!
OOOoooooOooooOOOOOooooooOOo PD is Jimin bias-ed HUEHUEHUE
I like how Fake Love is basically the complete opposite of DNA with the similar colors even though DNA was about how love was fate but Fake Love was about...well, fake love.
you stayed up to watch it omg king
“Jin making his 2 second appearance” Idk whether to laugh or cry at how true this is 😭
PLEASE REACT FOR THE WHOLE ALBUM ITS SOOOOOOO GOOOOD
Helllll yeah
just so that you know, no cga was used in the mv, just for the phone turning into sand everything else like the floor falling while jungkook is running or the water with jimin and the fire with yoongi its all real
This mv reminds me of the BS&T Japanese music video a little bit
Jaridy Visith Yes, I was thinking the same thing!
Me too!
It reminds me a lot
Anyone else really happy at the amount of Jin in the MV? Hes in the chorus with Jimin, he has a good chunk of screen time, and he also has some center moments in the choreo.
I'm so happy hes getting more time front and center
Honestly i like ur reactions because you are not screaming the whole time and actually enjoying it with logical
I've watched several reactions to this and you're by far the best. In most reacts, people were screaching and fangirling or talking constantly and loudly. I also enjoyed how you pointing out so many different things but waited until the ending to really speak about the song.
I'M HYPED MAH BOI
It's no coincidence that FAKE LOVE is the only kpop song that made it into all major End Year Lists of critics (Guardian, Rolling Stones, Billboard, MTV etc)...An underrated bop in my opinion!
My favourite album has always been HYYH and I never thought it’d be beat BUT OMG THIS ALBUM HAS BEAT IT ITS AMAZING
Ash Cameron OMG same, though...
Jin actually got the most lines in this song tied with jimin
welcome to jimin's lane
Meanwhile ARMY stressing out abt Kookie Abs, and 8583857839 theories on this MV 😂
Btw, Thank you for the reaction ! We really appreciate it sm 💕💕 Love ARMY all over the world !
I am an old headed army and listen I couldn’t enjoy their latest comebacks as much as this Idk this reminds me of bs&t mixed with I need U
I'm glad am not alone. It feels like they lost themselves for sake of the world music scene ...
Don’t get me wrong guys I just fell in love with BTS when they had their hiphop style and this comes so different to me I’m not hating at all you do you🙏🏿
Harry Ha ...I'm love old BTS, too. The last year or two...not so much.
Dramamamashakalaka * Loved ur name btw;)
I still love the songs after Run era. BS&T is one of my fave songs even tho I listen more to hip hop stuff and i love them as a people, but this comeback ... I loved how they always sounded so unique and fresh. This comeback is just the same sound as any other generic pop star has. The whole album is for me the same thing over and over and Fake love just seem so orchestrated to be a great BTS song. Like if in bighit they said '' hey, we need a great new song for bbmas so let's take a look at what people liked about bts songs a put it together'' ...
At the end, you will fall for Jimin. There is no other option.
rosalie • like you'll fall the rest of them. It's a circle really.
Laya Sreekumar i didn't choose them, they chose me.
boi seokjin got so many lines wym
dodie's Ukulele Please point them out in this song. I don’t see that he has anything more than usual. In fact, he seemed to have more in DNA and Mic Drop.
Wendy Smith in DNA he has like 18 seconds in fake love he has nearly a minute.
@0:51-0:55, @1:34-1:44, @2:16-2:22, @3:00-3:11, @4:42-4:48
I guess I’m having a hard time telling when he is the one singing. That’s why I asked specifically which lines.
Wendy Smith I was rude, I apologize. Anyway, someone else was better than me and answered with the times 😊
YESSSSS JIMIN LITERALLY HAS ROCKED THIS ERA
what you said about jimin: YES
This was so fast, thank you! Not only was Fake Love a throwback, there's a few others in the album, imo they were pretty creative some of the tracks and I LOVED THAT, I'm having a hard time picking a favorite song ;( Jin finally got more than 3 seconds of screentime and more lines, showcased his vocals, in fact, this my be my favorite BTS album when it comes to vocals... They really did that. They did the same thing they did with LY: Her, except this time the "mood" of the album goes from sad to happy. A really nice concept imo
please listen to the album i havent finish listening to it but it has me sobbing but twerking in my grave :D LOVE UR VIDS
Sophiamlb Brown “sobbing but twerking in my grave” honestly same 😂
Sophiamlb Brown 😂😂😂 u made my day with this comment thanx
This comment gave me life 😂 same here!
