One of the most incredible things with BTS, that in the last year that they’ve not been able to perform as a group, they’ve probably gained so many fans not only alone but also for the group. A year ago, I didn’t know too much about BTS and I feel like I missed out for the last 9 years of some amazingly talented musicians. This song is definitely a historic milestone for Kpop.
As far as I’m concerned SNTY is the true Gold in Golden. It is that one epic performance song that I was hoping for and more! And he gives it 110% from start to finish.
ever since bts’ debut, jeongguk has always been very special. i knew he would go on to do incredible things. the things he’s managed to achieve at such a young age with over 10 years of experience... he manages to blow my mind with each project. just when you think he’s hit the highest of his potential, he proves you wrong. i love him so much, i’ve never been more proud.

He got his full tattoo sleeve in 2019 , last year he recently got a brighter color and more detailed cover. I truly did not expect Disco from him. I think it is refreshing; nicely referential to Bee Gees and the overall 70s nightclub scene. Certainly evocative of a gentle and tender sensuality. I agree about him holding back on the two previous singles, I was like the choreos are GREAT but way more muted than I was expecting - then again, the songs are not that fast or need that much choreo; and then he comes FULL OUT with SNTY like wtf my man just freed his lil dancer monster on us lmfao The MV and promotions are so good, they tie so well with the whole album concept - the album themselves are so clean, all three versions look luxurious! It's called Golden because he was given the nickname 'Golden Maknae' (Golden Youngest) by his Leader RM and his mother had a dream of Golden rain when she was pregnant with him. Also he make's films called 'Golden Closet Films'. He so his album had to be called Golden.

I agree about the intensity. JK is a powerhouse and it felt like he was on a victory lap rather than showing off his absolute talent. SNTY is exactly what I hoped from him and he DELIVERED! I just remember the other members talking about how they have to remind him to take it easy sometimes otherwise he’d go at it with so much intensity that it scared them. Seven and 3d are songs that jungkook personally loves himself…it just happens that he absolutely adores those groovy poppy easy to sing along live songs lol like with this… every single person can see what jungkook is truly capable of… vocally and dance wise…. His performance .. his presence and his sex appeal are just next level.
That’s why I love jungkook… he knows that a song like this with this dance and everything would be epic … but he just fell in love with seven and 3d first… and so he put out the music he wanted to lol he’s so authentic to himself and he really always has been.. it’s why so many artists and even some members have two personas for one that’s part of the group… and who they are off stage and off camera… but jungkook is simply always just been jungkook lol I think bc he came in so young… he didn’t have the same worry you have in late teens and early 20s… he was in middle school when he came to bighit. Jungkook has always been a quick learned, a hard worker and a non complainer…. That little boy took on the exceptionally important and very pressuring roles in this group at such a young age… and not only did he do his job but he excelled at his jobs to even be able to take on more and more work as he grew up. I’m so proud of him and everything he’s accomplished. I really do feel it’s a shame that the maknae line are going to enlist earlier than they have to bc they all really just got their very first taste of having a solo album and really seeing what they could do individually… the rapline has made mixtapes and multiple solo mvs for years outside of BTS… so even their solo albums weren’t super new for them… but the maknaes it was a brand new experience and learning process… they’re literally in the prime of their careers and have to put it on hold early. I mean jungkook hadn’t ever even had ONE solo music video for any of his BTS solo songs… pretty sure the rest had at least one w their BTS solo and/or their mixtape music… but somehow the main vocalist and center of BTS never even had a solo mv before this ch2.
Jungkook has broken so many records and truly made history for Korean pop artists especially.. and instead of love and support bc of it… it’s caused so much jealousy and envy … seeing his success and how HE chose to promote has really brought out the antis. Jungkook is a superstar who was born to perform… to entertain and to captivate… it’s what’s so special about him… that and his diversity vocally, his control… it’s practically super human… I mean there are so many extremely talented singers, dancers and performers who are amazing…. But it’s only the greats, only the legends that are born w something special to them… and jungkook is absolutely one of those rare artists. He’s not out there thirst trapping in every single song for cheap screams or just sticking out his tongue and biting his lip to the cameras during EVERY single song whether it’s appropriate or not… that cheap thirst trap bs is so fake when done all the time and drives me nuts. Jungkook is music himself.. he feels the words, the rhythms and the melody’s and his moves by them… he performs the way the music feels and sounds… completely authentic … he’s not putting anything on just for attention… it’s so genuine and something so many have lost bc the whole playing with your tongue, winking, lip biting, trying to seduce the camera in every single shot has become way too common… the running hand through their hair into the camera and all that is SO forced and out of place a lot of the time… but it gets them attention… and confused for “stage presence and charisma.” It’s not… thirst trap bs… jungkook is the definition of authentic stage presence and charisma. Watch him perform euphoria… the dance is actually pretty difficult but jungkook dances through it like he’s floating.. so light and fluid, begin…. Extremely sharp and commanding the stage with every move… intentional…. My time… seductive, pure emotion w every word and every single move… holding across the floor so smoothly…. Pure intoxicating passionate seduction…. Completely authentic… he truly is so so special.

Jungkook is always going to be one of a kind. I don't see a lot of KPop artists break out like he did. Only the other BTS members release great works of art. Taeyang of Big Bang is comparable in my eyes but jK is just a world above. Western artists will never reach this level.
