Was an adult when I read them the first time, but even if they are classed as books for youth I like them anyway :)
Read them back in my 16th, and now I found them in my library, so I start to read again. Must admit it’s as good as when I first discovered this universe! I guess I just love fantasy.
21st Century fucked us royally on this. The actors, GREAT. The CG for Saphira, it was REALLY good.
But they butchered the story. They didn't create the Urgals and Kull from the books. No Teirm, no Dras Leona, no Farthen Dur or Tronjeim.
Daret wasn't a fishing village. They had cavalry soldiers and like streets and shit.
Now the Ra'zac were pretty cool to me. Throw a cloak on that costume and I feel like they nailed it.
Annnnnnnnd the dwarves needed to be DWARVES. Not slightly shorter men lol. They could've gotten some tips from Peter Jackson or Andrew Adamson (Narnia) for those kind of effects.

i know the 2nd part was cancelled. But I'm still hoping for second part. I don't mind if it gets a reboot.
I hope if there is a reboot it's done right this time. The descriptions are so detailed in the book but they didn't even try with some of the characters
@@ismaeelbaig8053 ikr, the book rlly makes u imagine the characters and the environment which rlly engaged me. it was the first time I actually got addicted to reading a book, it's kind of sad to see the movie didn't do so well and I rlly hope it's given a second chance

Have you read the books? If you have, then you’d realize the movie basically left out so much important stuff that they literally couldn’t make a 2nd movie even if they wanted to.
I’m in the process of rereading the book now and it reminded me how much I hated this movie for that very reason. They absolutely butchered it and made a 2nd movie impossible. They’d have to redo this movie which is unlikely.

Rereading Eragon and hope to continue all the way through the series. The graphics actually look good in this trailer! I remember watching this movie and thinking "OMG! THEY BUTCHERED IT!" nOW, I'm rethinking it.

The eragon book series would be better fitted for a tv show than a movie, just too much detail to fit into 2 hours, better to stretch across a few seasons
