Sadly, in order to understand this movie, you have to read the book first, but if you read the book first then you realize that the movie is a good nominee for the worst movie in existence
Love how in the book the dragons are specifically stated to have scales at least once every chapter, and they decided to give them feathers.
If you've read the books this entire move is just one big sin and honestly I just want someone to make a good Eragon TV show at this point.

Just FYI, the books are waaaaay better, things start getting more interesting from the second book, but they're all really fun to read and the story is great.

I've been hanging onto a small hope that some new team would try to adapt this on Netflix and do it really well. We can only hope.
The people who made lord of the rings should remake Eragon
In the book, Eragon riding Saphira bare back almost skinned him alive.
Eragon could have been big, but instead they made the movie a generic LOTR rip off.
The Razac, the 3rd most formidable enemy’s in the land, almost impossible to kill as even the elves struggled to wipe out their race, die in the first 20mins of the movie where it takes Eragon and Roran 3 books to kill. This movie is blasphemy.

I saw this movie when I was a kid and LOVED it,so I HAD to read the books,which only Eragon and Eldest were out at the time. I read the books and ABSOLUTELY loved them, and once I'd finally read all four I decided to rewatch the movie as a kind of nostalgia party...
I can't ducking watch this. I must now reread the books to cleanse myself.
Eragon is blonde
This movie was the first time I watched a movie then read the book afterwards. I had kind of liked the movie as a kid, but after reading the book I couldn't ever look at the movie the same again XD

Possibly the most depressing book/movie adaptation I've ever had the heartbreak to see, just glad they didn't make anymore movies to finish the story after this one flopped. The books were incredible, read them at least 3 times from start to finish
You know, I used to like this movie when I was around 7... I read the books, rewatched it and I have never been so disappointed by a movie in my entire life, it's a two-year-old's finger painting compared to the books. This sins vid had me rolling from start to finish, nicely done as always.
I love how if this movie had any respect for the lore and story of the books, the majority of this movies sins would not exist.
