I can't believe you drove right past my house and you didn't stop to see your mother! I did notice you sped up when you went by. It's a great road to drive . I think of it as my own little Texas tail of the dragon.

Love the build! Would you happen to know where you got the pillar gauge pod?

I actually got it used from a friend years ago, so I'm not 100% sure where exactly it came from

always a good time on the fm roads. sounds great man. running a little rich? will you be making it to ls fest this year?

Oh, I'm for sure going to be at LS Fest! It's going to be a good time. You going to be out there?
The only downside on these roads is, while they are beautiful and have lots of corners, they tend to deteriorate really quickly. When I was a bit younger, the surface was fantastic, but over time, the rocks that they mix in with the asphalt have torn away, so it feels like driving on marbles.
As for the AFR, we did go a bit conservative on the timing, but I think the big thing is that I recently had to switch to a different filter with the new ducting set-up, and I don't think it flows quite as well as the one that I tuned on. I'm going to find a better solution, but at the time, I just needed something on there.
I also think it swings a bit rich in the mid range because the BTR intake favors air volume over velocity. Paired with with my pretty aggressive fuel system, it will go a bit rich under load in the mid range, but then hangs out around 12.0 - 12.2 when I'm consistently at WOT.

@@ChaseFarrow giving some heavy thought to it, Buddy's are going and not much on the schedule for may. I would hate to be sitting around looking at the car.
I never run too hard on back roads anymore either, always deer or pigs or something around to ruin the good time.
I have had a intake bridge totally screw up MAF and iat readings before... I think it was an afe brand. I had to lean out my decel areas a lot too it barked out the exhaust so hard at the track once i thought something fell off, haha.

      You should come out, man!
Backroads can definitely be a dangerous place to play, especially as the cars get faster and faster. And with how low these things are, it doesn't take much to really do some damage to them. It's just not worth it 99% of the time.
Yeah, decels can get a bit spicy from time to time. Especially when it's cold and when I've been doing some spirited driving lol There's a couple of spots on the decel map where I can really make it spit fire. If I go 3-4 at WOT and then let off right after in 4th, it will blow some big fireballs. lol
