Indeed it is inspiring to see that men still work. and that there is still work. that doesn't exist where I'm from .. Buildings are collapsing on construction sites and workers because of poor construction methods (cutting corners) unskilled cheap labor that goes against the law because that labour is sourced from exploiting a terrible immigration crisis that the country is facing. I can understand why men in the UK have been upset about individuals leaving my country to 'undercut' jobs in the UK.. given our very very bad political history.
Look at that! Employee of the year, every year, CEO and founding member of Shook You Productions!! And O' Donovan camera technician (Young) Wilson!! Happy to see you again!
I had forgotten just how much I really like Wilson. Such a lovely, talented, sweet young man. How I wish he would come back, even if on a part time, short term basis. He brought so much to this channel.
16:45 ha that other industry is called farming Daniel… and it’s been like that for 30+ years. All input costs up, fertiliser, feed, contractors, more & more red tape… yet the supermarkets are paying less, especially in the dairy industry. Just smile and wave boys, smile and wave!!!
Farming is a funny thing, where the price for the product we buy and the crop, product we sell is controlled by others. The middleman always wins, but for some reason people don't realize this and hate us for increased prices in the supermarkets. Like they say; “The farmer is the only man in our economy who buys everything at retail, sells everything at wholesale, and pays the freight both ways.”
Glad you said it, not to mention everything you have to do for the red tractor standard and the bans on chemicals that have made it harder and more expensive to establish the crop, then we just import it from somewhere where they aren’t banned, for less money and don’t have to follow red tractor standards anyway 👍🏻
So glad that Wilson is back and seeing him grow in confidence in front of the camera is amazing! So drop where you’re logged in from! Have a great week all ❤
You really need to get out more. Your whole life builds up to a moment when a AW video drops as it gives you license to utter your drivel. Quite pathetic actually.
The penthouse project. Hire a specialist lorry mounted crane firm. Something like a HIAB 1058 with fly jib. Mounted on an 8 wheeler or a tractor unit. Put all the rubbish in ton bags lift them down and place in a skip. Lift all materials up to the roof. No need for anything to go through the communal areas.
I imagine they've already considered that, I believe early in the proposal he mentioned about the possible use of cranes, so I'm assuming there's some kind of restriction preventing them from doing that.
When the yard is finished, and as it's close don Sundays. I think you should do guided tours. We're all so invested in this project we need to see the finished item. I would deffo fly to the UK and make that part of my visit! 🤩
Great job on the new yard, love watching it progress Daniel...be good to see a fee boys out with the paint brushes and get some black n yellow painted onto things 🤔🫣😎
@40:00 the tie bars are to stop gauge spread, you're not *supposed* to use them to pull it back into spec. Those sleepers look rotted out so probably spot re-sleeper to get it back into the correct gauge. They might even use the new composite sleepers.
In the lovely drone shots from Wilson at 47:50 the old yard appears to still be open to the new yard, and Ashville trucks still parked in there. What’s the latest with the former landlord? Have they given you some ongoing limited access/right to occupy? Interested, as I thought they were being a-holes about it? Great episode, fantastic progress on the new yard, and nice to see Wilson, looking dapper in his hi-viz!
Don't forget to secure the perimeter of the Yard Dan, still seeing breaches in the palisade on the rail side and the side which faces the road need some going up.
I had never heard the term stillage until I started watching these videos. I thought it was one of Daniel's sort of made up terms but finally looked it up for myself. Learned something new from Ashville!
32degree heat is nothing for a tropical man like you. Haha😂 I look forward to seeing these videos every week. The content is awesome and watching the journey you take us on is also pretty awesome and inspiring. Keep up the awesome work.
Lots of early Asheville videos are appearing in my feed. At some point, Wilson will appear and all will be revealed. BTW, did Simon use up all the yellow paint on the weigh bridge? He can paint that step.
Dan, pal if your idler is in that bad condition I’d be checking the other side as I bet it’s not far off the same 💪🏻 keep up the good work, smashing it 🙌🏻
Please can we have your ending back, always try to get it right, saying it along with you….“ click here for the Asheville website etc”, just like your Rhyme at the beginning…nice!
Gutted that Wilson isn’t back for good…. GREAT video once again, thank you for adding the refurbishment project work… looking forward to the penthouse project starting.
Happy sunday all!, its more than likely the cheaper side to just change the sleepers, ripping all that track up etc would cost them a pretty penny!, keep smashing it ashville team!
Daniel... well played sir, well played. That was a rollercoaster of an episode, I got so excited for the return of Wilson, then make me wait til the end to find out it was only for a flying visit.
You can have a pedestrian gate built in the leaf of existing side of the gate. Can still access site when gates are locked. No need to mess around with extra posts or even having to take a leaf off!
I'm so lucky and happy like small child when I've seen ASHVILLE Aggregates twice in one week at East Surrey hospital. Those trucks something different on the road then another's. Better then Yanni lambo.
On the Mines in Australia they have a 1" bull hose that they clean the machine's with weekly at least some times every 24 hours mite be worth a wash bay 🤔✌️👏
Still here since weekly episode 1 !! Not missed one video amazing content ashville group! once again keep it up and looking forward to this coming Sunday !!!
I feel your pain in the new project. I did one for BT in a multi use building including HSE on one floor. We managed to rent an empty plot across the road to put a skip on. We shifted everything either in bags or by hand if possible in the day, failing that after 6.00pm for other more awkward items. The client was very happy, and not one visit from the on-site HSE office. No pressure. Ensure to fill in ballast between the last sleeper and concrete. I suspect the track ballast was not tampered down in that area when you did the stuttering at the end of the track, and could cause a rail issue in the future.
Hi Daniel, 44:48 I just saw the part where you were tidying the scaffolding. I saw one of your guys sweeping, which reminds me, if you ever watch some of the machines at a scrap yard they use some of the diggers to do the sweeping, they seem to have a ball of mesh to do it, might save you some time if you could figure out how to adapt some of your machines to do it maybe
The drone shot at 39.23, the yard has changed so much I had to pause it to try and understand, It looks like you need both yards Dan, you guys have so much going on that you could fill that entire site with just Ashville. An impressive amount of work has taken place that's for sure, the concrete train snake is a quarter mile long by the looks of it if not more lol.

WILSON!!!!!!!!, glad your doing well wee man, gutted it was only a flying visit though
I suggest Speed Binders with torque drive for scenes with hand-ratcheting load binders. They utilize an optional cordless power tool interface to save time with no gimmicks.
14:00 Pay for a pavement licence and construct a small scaffold gantry, netted, double boarded and sheeted. Erect a small 8ft tower frm the gantry to the roof and install a rubbish chute off of it. Store the rubbish on the gantry, solving lift issues, provide flexibility and you can still rope up materials as needed.
Put the second row of blocks shifted half a block this will be much stronger. As anyone who played with Lego can tell you. Interlocking the two rows to each other. And then put on the metal strips. Otherwise, the two block stacks will shift in relation to the other blocks, creating problems.
Good to see your still around Will, your so tall hope to see you back with Daniel in the future Daniel, don’t you think it would be smart to find more flatbeds and a second vehicle like the one Dan drives since your plant hire is so busy?
As someone who runs an MEP consultancy. Our costs go up but project values go down because our industry has become a race to the bottom. Too many companies buy jobs for cash flow which basically screws everyone else (and themselves in the long run).
Another great Video Daniel its a ripper it’s called working trying to survive in this crazy ,,,Where prices never seem to come down ,,but they don’t have any problems going up seems like weekly ….you are very busy I enjoy watching the videos best wishes stay safe cheers ❤️🙏👍💰💰
Ah Mr Luisy i mentioned before this before, but your parts seem to breaking down are similar. I worked for a business and we set up an on site spares area where we hold parts that are used predominantly. Suppliers would then do a monthly check and bill us accordingly, win, win..
Best tool get the worn bolts and nuts off on the cutting edge use a excavator ( 5-8t) with a hydraulic breaker with flat chisel of course not pointy . pops them right off !!
since wilson left all that time ago, the young man STILL doesnt look a day over 15. id be envious if i were a few years younger lol. great to see him back though, even if it IS just for a flying visit....
The difference with this is Danny can change his prices competition depending obviously but farmers are told what price they are getting they can’t change that
It always cool to wake up at 4am to watch his videos and go back to sleep meanwhile across the pond, you folks are ready to get the day going. I’m in New York, same goes for our partners on the west coast here, 3 hours behind.
You need to put your LE GO blocks off set. Like building a house. Wouldnt it make it it stronger. Then two half size blocks each end. Love the content cant wait for the train to come in the yard. Also i need them tipper slippers i literally check everyday 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Well done Daniel on the digger repair, on it straight away great repair job spares are a nightmare for these machines which is not good for the reputation. Who is the Townie???.
Absolute pleasure to work with you on this. We have all loved the process! Let’s do something monster together soon. 😉🎥
Need to invest in some bright yellow scaffolding.
@@ColinRichardson Very true! It’s on the list to clean up as we speak! 🤝👊🎥

Helicopter.
that or a Liebherr MK style (mobile tower crane) which is spot on for getting things on and off building roofs in city centers.
