- With Dishonored 2 announced here is a story recap of Dishonored 1. This Garbage Review will recap the pc version of Dishonored. Also all the gameplay was from the PC version. This is not a funny game! Don't make jokes. Hello I am Kilian most people write Killian. I think I pronounce it wrong at the end of each episode. Some people complained about my accent so I turned that shit to 11 in this episode! Does anyone actually read this far. I don't. Dishonored kinda falls apart at the end. The start is fantastic.

You can literally blaze through every mission within 10 minutes if you choose to kill everyone and otherwise I'd say about 3-7 minutes if you just go for the objective.

I was ddoing a nonlethal playthrough and I failed because I jumped on someone's head
I got the nonlethal ending and the end screen told me I didn't kill anyone but for some reason, I didn't get the trophy. :( I was trying to get the platinum for the game...
uzumakiking you may have killed weepers in the hub sewers. they dont count in nonlethal assasin speedrun. because it dosent make an endscreen that actually says you killed anyone. but iy does get rid of the ability to get cleanhands

Feel the sweet satisfaction of breaking through a complex level and enjoy watching the extremely detailed kill-move as you drive your knife through your target... or just let some creepy guy addict them and take them to place where they'll never be seen again, since that's so much better? All this, for the good ending
The problem with this game is that all the amazing things you can do cause you to get the bad ending

There's 1 melee non-lethal takedown, and a few gadgets that run out of ammo quickly.
Compare this to the several, several lethal options and the pacifist route in Dishonored can get a bit tedious
+Pan Z I like stealth gameplay, not cool animations. So no, not tedious for me. Besides, only scrubs touch anyone that isn't a target.
PathosFear It also never helped that the games are incredibly easy. There was no fear of getting caught when the enemies can't counter any of Corvo's abilities
as a person who has completed dishonored more than ten times in every single possible way, i can confirm this is very accurate
The DLC for this game has you play as the guy who assassinated the queen in the first place. The DLC reveals so much story that it's basically half the game trapped in DLC. It's also somehow just as long. Yes, the DLC is as long and as important as the main game to the story. What the fuck

+Derpy TW There is a single way to stealth. Abuse blink, choke out everyone and hide them in corners, and reload A LOT. Having different endings was moronic. The game is way more fun if you do what you want.

The thing I'm most impressed by is the ability to convert anything he picks up straight into dosh
I don't like how Stealth games seem to go two ways, either you're a rampaging powerhouse of destruction which certainly dilutes the design and overall function of its core element "stealth" (QUIT GIVING THE OPTION TO NOT STEALTH IN A STEALTH GAME!) or you're a ghost that nobody ever sees and you interact with nobody.
I play these games as an invisible, silent form of justice. If someone is bad, I'll take them out, if they are just normal people doing their job, I'll either knock them out or leave them alone. I'm stealthy but I'm not a pacifist.
Basically, you do what normal people would really do.

I absolutely LOVE Dishonored... My favourite game by far! The wonderfully gorey high lethality or the nerve-rackingness of a "Ghost, Clean hands, MFaS," and some others I can't remember the name for! Oh trying to infiltrate the lord regions, by sneaking along the wall, entering through an airvent and stealing the tape whilst the lord regents is at the door! Ah I've never felt so much adrenaline as when the moment strikes perfectly! Oh I love this game to bits

+Ibney00 No there is another non-lethal way, fight him and then just as he is about to die he will teleport outside and lie on the floor wounded, walk up to him and it will engage dialogue where he will talk about how he regrets killing the empress then tells you that he doesn't care whether you kill him or not. Walking away from him after this will cause him to say he did not expect this and will teleport away. That is how I did it.
Man, checking out Zevik's playthrough of this game recently makes me laugh out loud more than I should have back then.

you get the bad ending if you kill people, because the corpses attract rats, and rats carry the plauge. the plauge infects people and they became weepers. people are terribly afraid of them and they go mad wich makes more people distressed and everyone either dies from infection or goes mad. it's actually explained in a pop up near the bigginning of the first quest, so if you turned those off, cause they are annoying, you need to read a lot of in game books to get what' s going on fully

I guess it wasn't just me who had a shit load of trouble at that masquerade ball. I was doing the non-lethal way and there were many times I would just kill every one at the ball to let off some steam and then load back to the check point I made before I did it.

best part of this whole game is the neverhood soundtrack
well technically the good ending is about less deaths, the more deaths, the more infestation.... you kill, you feed the mass of rats on the streets that then depend on humans as a source of food. as for hiding the body or just disposing of it with one of the powers, disappearances of people can cause chaos with the government and people. The non lethal ways are infact worse than death but this is a game of revenge, I love how the story proves death is the not the worst that can happen.
