Oh man, just played this first the first time in my own living room. This is one of those games that you just have to experience in your own house. I was running around through my living room peeking around the windows, panicking more and more when zombies entered my house from all sides, so much fun. My wife though thought I'd completely lost my mind.
I don't know if there is a limit - I have a pretty big room with an open kitchen. Unless you live in a castle I don't think you'll be limited :) @@mrinfinitymusic
Shouldn't the borders be automatically turned off in MR? I've played the furrball game (first encounter?) many times and I can't remember being bothered by any borders.
Playing VR actually changed how I dream. I experience dreams way more lively and "from ego perspective" now, being more aware of my hands and my ability to interact with my surroundings, making me more "capable" in my dreams. It feels as if I have more agency and more "conciousnes" in my dreams now. Also, before VR things never "flew in my face" in dreams. Since VR it often happens that stuff happens "right before my face". As an example: If a dog attacked me in a dream, it felt like the abstract idea of danger, and a dog "somehow" attacking me in some way. After VR it would be a very clear experience of a dog trying to jump right into my face/center of vision. Now that sounds terrible - but the cool and beautiful stuff has also gotten more immersive and more "real" since then... so I kinda like it.
In all of RUclips history (and I've been around since the beginning) i don't think there is a channel thats suprised me more. Yiur videos are interesting, clever and informative. Yiu don't know how much you helped me with the elite strap - i had the same problem as you and Meta were a nightmare to deal with. I keep thinking you're a 100k or 250k subscriber level content creator. Mark my words dude, its going to happen - it absolutely is.
I wonder if you could "lie" in the room setup. Tell the system your TV is a window, your closet door is an outside door, your fireplace is a door, etc.
Great experience....if you can try extending your boundary slightly beyond your walls doors and windows. Looks a lot more real and will help eliminate the boundary coming up as much. Great video
Since it is in mixed reality and you can see your real walls, why don't you turn off your boundary? Since you can see, you don't really need it. There is a button for it in the quick menu. I always have it off when the pass-through cameras are being used.

I have seen others play this and I got the update yesterday. I cant wait to try this. The normal game scares me to death. I can imagine the mixed reality mode. Hey Chris! Funny how different people can be so much into the same things. One thing I've been SUPER interested in is if I can use something like immersed VR in my car. With the long road trips we take in the Tesla (model y) it would be amazing to be able to work with 4 screens while the wife takes her autopilot shift. Can you test how it does in the car? I suspect it will still be bad but with my quest pro it was completely undoable. Love your autopilot vids and I'm glad I found you here too since I know you bring the no bs detailed information. Because it's mixed reality and not VR, it is very obvious where everything is. The only problem I had with a real item was the chair that wasn't mapped so was hidden behind the virtual table.

You can recreate boundary and draw it out yourself. Make your boundary go beyond the actual size, just so it doesn't bother you. You just have to be subliminally aware you don't have an actual boundary
You can turn off boundary in developer settings. Hopefully it works for this game? Never tried. But I have a MQ3 and this game on my next to buy list 😅

I think the boundry is usless if u can see ur room only usefullnes i think it it to stop u from hitting ur door or window so the boundry is useful if u only put it to the areas u cant see cos of vr
I love this game, but will they update it soon to make the zombies move at more than 20 fps, especially when you shoot them? Seems like that could be so much smoother, especially on the quest 3 that has other titles with more graphic fidelity that run smoother. :(
Wow great game and gameplay . So spooky. Now imagine they add vampires and werewolves or ghosts to the game. And let us create horror castle or cemetery environment. I can't imagine what developers can do with mix reality 😃👍
That's up to you to decide. The game has since been updated with new monsters and things work better (like big windows). I played it tonight and it was a lot of fun. You do have a refund period (if you play less than 2 hours)
Wow, can't believe how willingly people let big tech map the interiors of their houses. Not to mention whatever other types of data it's storing and transferring to whomever. 🤔
If you have cameras in your house or even take pictures around your house then "big tech" already has what it needs to map out our houses. Hell they can do that with all other vr headsets too even if they don't offer passthrough they still have a model of the environment. I'm not saying we shouldn't care about privacy but the days of worrying about what you're talking about have long since passed.
I'm off to see this Game at another channel. This dude is sooooo annoying with his Room Mess and technical Issues. He could of easily CLEAN his Room, and Edit Out bad parts prior to starting this video and wasting everyone's time... 🤦💩💯 #LazyCreator

@@ChrisBTech unfortunately it doesn't help - it's a known bug for many users and it can't be solved. Dozens of people complain about it with no solution from the developer

Turn off your borders in development mode when you’re playing mixed reality. Because you can see reality so don’t run into a wall.
Mixed reality doesn’t work with the borders off for some reason

That was insane. I can only imagine the immersion. For some reason I love the sound effect for when you pick up items.

Since it is in mixed reality and you can see your real walls, why don't you turn off your boundary? Since you can see, you don't really need it. There is a button for it in the quick menu. I always have it off when the pass-through cameras are being used.

That’s crazy they had zombies coming through the “wall art.” One wrong move and that art/tv is toast .

I think you can turn off the boundary walls in MR. Your boundary kept appearing which took the immersion out of the game.
Time is going to come soon when you can play virtual tennis with Sampras or Williams, with a haptic raquet and vr.

You can see the reflection on the 3D representation of the room in the double doors and it moves too

can't you disable boundaries for mixed reality games, I kind of don't see the point of having them if you can see your entire room?
I enjoyed the mixed reality mode more then the full game. A top MR game for sure.
I finally beat it. Hopefully they can add more stages or variety, but it's very good.

I found for me I was always missing something. Add more tables doors and windows until it works
