This song is super special for me. You first released it a few days after I broke up with my first ever boyfriend. We decided to remain "friends", so he was casually messaging me every now and then, commenting stuff like "Oh, the weather is crazy lately huh?" or "It's getting really cold don't you think?", trying to keep it casual and cool. But oh, how hard it is to talk about the weather - and other casualties - with someone who you're not together with, someone who you still have feelings for... Even when the sky was grey I was feeling so damn blue. Thank you for writing such great songs, Lawrence, songs that speak directly to our soul.

Honestly mind-blowing, his playing is so percussively funky and all so natural, with awesome little chromaticy bits in the solos and his chord voicings - God, the unbelievably PERFECT voicings - to mention but a few points of enjoyment. Chorus: Gracie Lawrence]
I won't talk about the weather
Not with you, we're not together
'Cause even when the sky is gray, I'm feeling blue
And though the winds are always changin'
    And the clouds are rearrangin'
A part of me will always be in love with you
    [Verse 1: Gracie Lawrence]
    There's a fire in LA
And since you moved there back in May
I wonder, should I call to see if you're right?
Yeah, you're a million miles away
But I still think of you each day
And hope the weather doesn't keep you cold at night
    [Pre-Chorus: Gracie Lawrence]
So, I won't talk about the weather
No, I won't talk about the weather
    [Chorus: Gracie Lawrence]
I won't talk about the weather
Not with you, we're not together
'Cause even when the sky is gray, I'm feeling blue
And though the winds are always changing
    And the clouds are rearranging
A part of me will always be in love with you
    [Non-Lyrical Bridge]
    [Pre-Chorus: Gracie Lawrence]
So, I won't talk about the weather
No, I won't talk about the weather
    [Chorus: Gracie Lawrence]
I won't talk about the weather
Not with you, we're not together
And it's hard to say if we will ever be
But I'll admit my greatest fear is that the air will never clear
So I just wish that we could talk like you and me
    [Outro: Gracie Lawrence]
No, I won't talk about the weather
Not with you, we're not together
But I wonder if we're ever really through
'Cause if we're talking about whether
You and I should be together
Oh, I know I'll always be in love with you
Oh, yes I know I'll always be in love with you
