When she began to sing, I got goose bumps. They came back by waves with the changes in the harmony (at 57" and 2'03", mainly) and also at every long vowel that she sings clear, with a vibrato or with a vocal fry... My shirt doesn't touch my skin anymore!

I am also digging the bass player laying his super tight groove on what looks like a very humble '50s or '60s Old Kraftsman bass.
I really like how the band kept a lot restraint to let Lawrence go off - also the rhythmic motif in the guitar solo is killer!

Look, Gracie is obviously amazing, but Clyde's voice is hauntingly raspy in this, it just.. found a place in my brain and won't exit. I find myself trying to sing parts of the song out loud just to recapture it. Just amazing song, I love it MUCH more than the original.

I have never met any band performing with such variety of different voices! It's just... unbelievable. So versatile - all these timbres, pitches, melisma....
I discovered Lawrence through Spotify playing "Do You Wanna Do Nothing with Me?" after a Scary Pockets song.
Now here I am, full circle.

His tone is a lot cleaner and it sounds great with this song. Just on the edge of his range so a little bit of strain and that plays greatly with his style. Obviously, the arrangement is perfect too, a little more subtle than other Scary covers but it works really well with the sibling sound
I’m nothing special but have taught myself a couple Lawrence songs on the piano and un general eye feel like I song worse when I’m also playing piano. Takes a lot of mental capacity to play piano for me. I’m sure less for Clyde.

I'm not sure I have ever observed Jack and Ryan cheesing so much... Clearly, they are enjoying this performance as much as we are. IT IS STELLAR. This version crushes Olivia Rodrigo's original recording. You why? Because the original is so damn overproduced. Scary with and Lawrence just lay down a live track that sounds far and away more organic. The vocals are also arranged better with brother/sister tight harmony and their Call & Response riffing.
As an aside, Guitar: Lyle Workman's resume is rather impressive too. Love how Ryan and Lyle's guitars are so tightly integrated dancing around each other. Bravo!
