They're both available at the same price in my country. In general I see Q45's have better reviews but WH950's give better premium feel. Edifier IMO just looks better and as esthetics do matter to me I think I'll go for WH950NB. Phone call quality is also big plus. Thank you for comparison.
Just bought the edifier wh950. It sounds great and has great ANC. Also it fits perfectly. Wore it 2 hrs straight did not feel uncomfortable in that duration. So if ur looking for a comment on whether what to buy between the 2. Buy the edifiers
How's the bass? I love when it rumbles, vibrates and thumps your ears. On the Q45 Bass is almost non existent.
I never tried the edifier, but I do have the Q45. For me personally (a tad smaller head than normal?) they are not uncomfortable at all, and everything is as smooth as can be. The sound quality out of the box was definitely not top notch (Prevously used the Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 250ohm) and there was a night and day difference. But after breaking these in and getting comfortable, they sound really nice now! The seamless pairing with multiple devices, the ANC and everything else they feature, definitely worth the price. (Again, never owned the edifiers so can't compare)

The EQ improved the sound so much that i cant use it without it. For the money, id rate these a 9/10, aka i would buy a new pair if they broke.@@jawad-0
The Q45 might or might not be better than the 950s but after ordering both I send back the Q45 because they just look weird, they give you some frankenstein aesthetics
Wearing Q45 and listening to your comparisons & articulation. Good, typically Soundcore & Edifier both are good & cost-effective products to fulfill the needs.

Get the soundcore q30 or if you have a bigger budget get sony wh xb910n which is the same price as the q45
The xb910 sound bad. Id get the skullcandy evo instead.

I'm an audiophile and lean towards neutral sound that has good instrument separation and plays alternative, rock, jazz. What do you think would be your reco? I also need it for WFH sessions. By the way, they have same price here in PH at discount.😊
I haven't found another headphone that can top the Sony XB950. The 950 has a loud volume level and has the extra bass that will rattle heads and still sound excellent. I've tried Sony 910, 900, 710 and Skullcandy Crushers, Crushers Evo, Crusher ANC and the Soundcore lines and many other unknown brands and nobody and I mean NON top the Sony XB950. They are either not loud enough at max volume or have too much bass or lack the oomph bass or don't sound as clean and clear with max bass enable. I might have to go to the $300 price levels to see if I can find one that can match the Sony XB950. Sadly the 950 have a design flaw where the hinge will break in time under normal use.
Neicuh you either dead or you gon go deaf soon son if you keep on listening headphone at max volune
sony 910 has that design too. the hinges break after 6 months or a year lol.

What to buy if you want it extra loud? :) I tried Q45 wasnt loud enough for me, in addition, I couldn't use it for gym as its extremely light with a loose grip for my head.
I need an extra loud pair for my wife to compensate for her hearing loss. I'm still looking for the loudest pair out there. Anyone have suggestions?

They are out there, can usually walk into Best Buy and find them.
Have the space Q45 and watching this with them as the audio. Love them! I also use them with my Nebula Cosmos Laser projector. Great sound for the price!
@JKayser I don't have the 45s but I got the q30s. Sounded like trash out of the box but eq saved them. Make sure you go online and search for a neutral eq to get the most out of your pairs.

Unpopular opinion - i think the q45 have crap anc. Wether i put the anc to mode 2 or mode 5 i can still hear cars etc driving by, hear people talking. The earpads themselve already provide some noise cancelling but the anc… i expected more after all the positive reviews!
How's the sound and comfort ?
@@FFE0 having tested it for longer now I have to say it does block away most annoying sounds on a traintrop when I listen to music. The music sounds great, the bass is not prominent but the sub is nice and warm. All music that I have listened with these headphones sounds great
@WVMUSIC_NL Thanks for the reply. This will help me with my purchase decision. It was between this and the sonoflow. I'll probably go with the Q45.
@@WVMUSIC_NLMost people have unrealistic expectations from anc. Even the best expensive ones cancel the low pitch sound better while struggling with high ones.

If you don’t have to much money go for the space one, but if you’re not in a budget go for the wh950nb

champ, could you review the budget edifier W820NB+? I've heard good things about the plus version it has ldac and decent ANC, and all of that for 60$

Exactly the video i was looking for tbh. I just bought the q45 and am returning the 1MORE sonoflow. While I do like the Edifier in terms of look, they do try to emulate Sonys look a bit too much. Based on this video I think that the edifier miiight edge out the q45 based on raw performance, but Im not sure if it’s worth the extra $30-50. I think the best part of the q45 is the fact that I was able to walk into my nearest Best Buy and pick these up. They’re a strong performer all around and I’m happy with them.
Availability is definitely a plus for Soundcore and if you have an issue you don't have to rely on shipping and all the other stuff involved. The Edifier's are nice for sure, but for someone who doesn't care about call quality or mobile gaming, saving that $30 is probably worth it.

Im playing with them, would have liked to compare them to the q35, i bet the q35 might be my ticket, one guy from Brittain hated the q35 because he couldn't get them as balanced as the q30 with eq, i do love bass but like to hear entirety, the noise canceling sure shuts up the noisey microwave, you can bear it very faintly but not if music was playing, its a good age to be alive for headphone addicts, i think if all we had was the q30 wed still be spoiled cuz not a damn onenof is knows how to make this shit by ourselves

I really like the Soundcore Q45 but I only have one question.
Does it stay in place during a sport session like jogging, jumping rope or weight training?
They do a decent job but they wouldn't be my first choice for gym headphones. They are a bit bulkier and heavier than I'd like to use for jumping rope but I have used them for exercise a few times and they held up fine.
No returning mine for exact same reason. It’s very loose and I’m not a small guy.
As always listening to your excellent reviews your opinion is important. I returned the Q45 for 1More. I’m huge in sound no so much Anc & Mic. In what order would you rank these headphones? Thank You!
Thank you! Just sound, I prefer the Q45's in most cases for the type of music I listen to. They provide a full, warm sound and the bass is more present with them for me. The Edifier's sound is more polished and clean overall but the bass isn't as prominent.

Would you recommend buying Q45 now if I can get them for about $130? I’m looking for greatly sounding over-ear headphones with good enough ANC, and these seem to match my needs. But maybe there have appeared some better options 6 months later from release that you would recommend over Q45?
nothing better than the Q45 in the class, the Sony WH-CH720n just recently released, playing on the same class, but it's still more expensive, and from the review, it's not even as good as the 1more Sonoflow which is not as good as Soundcore (understandable since it's cheaper at retail than soundcore on sale)
