To any audio lovers out - which headphones do you have your eye on currently?

I've got Bose QC35 II atm, would love a new wireless pair for use on the go. Still rocking HD800S for home usage!

I'll be sticking with my Moondrop Chu IEMs and Philips Fidelio X2HRs for my PC - These are great though and if the the latency issues over Bluetooth when connected to PC weren't there I'd 100% pick a pair up to use for gaming I reckon.

I've never found a set of headphones I find comfortable for any length of time. Perhaps I've never spent enough but to spend £180 only to find I can't wear them would hurt. Thanks for the review anyway.

Superlux HD 668B semi open back, wired, cheap, super light weight (extremely important since I wear em 12h a day) I have another new pair sealed when these finally break.

I’ve used edifier speakers for a few years now. It’s a very premium product with a good sound. Highly recommend.

I'm an audiophile type with some "consumer V shaped" sensibilities regarding sound signatures. In other words, I like my mids scooped, my bass feeling round and punchy and trebs rolled back but clear and sparkly. With my listening centralizing around deep bass electronic music, bass driven hard rock and reggae, these do it for me without any hesitance.
Out of the box these sound alright enough that they feel exciting and promising right off the hop (It helped with them being exceptionally comfy). I left them in dynamic mode and skipped the custom EQ in app (I found it unnecessarily confusing). Between Wavelet and the Samsung EQ I was able to dial an extraordinarily adequate sound signature. Very balanced but deep bass, only missing the truely sub bass frequencies... I hear everything in the music with clarity and distinction between the sounds. Sound stage is a bit tight but with Wavelet, adding 15 percent soundstage does the trick for that. My only complaint is that the trebs, no matter what I do, sound a bit harsh and crunchy. I tamed this with tweaking but it comes with sacrifice as I have to dull down the trebles a bit more than I would like to control the harshness. But I'm still satisfied with the result.
Please note though, OOTB, these headphones sound only pretty ok. With EQ and settings tweaking while using LDAC and maxxed out data transmission specs, they sound AWESOME. Truly. I am super into the sound signature I got out of these. Very immersive and satisfying.
The pads and headband material is this type of soft that could only be compared to the skin of an infant? If you like soft, you will want to continually touch these. The headband I have seen complaints about, I have an egg shaped head so anything beyond the cushion of the band does not touch my head. Zero complaints with the comfort of that.
Clamp force is very comparable to the q35's however maybe slightly looser. They create a great seal. I can still wear them at the gym and they barely slide back on my sweaty bald head while laying on the bench. Only a slight adjustment is needed to to orient them to prevent slide. Otherwise they are very stable.
ANC is pretty damn good but sitting with silence or quiet segments in a song I could still hear the bus engine while in transit. Very minimized but it still cut through. Walking on the street I could slightly hear cars passing. Compared to how they sounded when anc was off however made their performance notably more impressive as they were doing a great job of reducing their sound by a large margin. However, these do not block out sound well enough that you can put them on and sit in silence with no music playing. For example I could still hear my gf watching IG on her phone beside me when I had no music playing.
The depth of the earpad memory foam is entirely adequate, unlike the soundcore q35's. Those earpads feel trashy, especially when compared to the Edifiers. When the q35's are on you can see the foam fully compressed and the frame of them are barely cushioned at all. They're foamy enough, but BARELY. The edifier's when on have more cushion to give then are "required" and do not look maxxed out when viewing them on.
Sure these lack 2 trendy features, those being "auto off" when you take them off your head and "cup for transparency". But with the button layout being reliable and ergonomic to achieve those 2 things without any hitches or room for failure, I can't see why those features would be missed. From experience, the auto off features on headphones often don't work right. With an ANC button ands pause button made with tactile rubber right where my hands go when reaching to take them off, I don't see why I would need the features these are missing.
I do not reccomend for gaming though. They sounded BAD when plugged in and bass was very distorted.
The construction of these are refined, the cup swivel feels pro, the hinges feel sturdy and the overall construction does not feel cheap or vulnerable to breaking. Everything about them feels VERY NICE. They don't creak or make sounds other than the following: When sitting with the music off and anc on, if I turn my head back and forth I can sometimes hear the metal connecting material in contact with the earcup plastic.

It's not a paid advert - we would never take money in exchange for our opinion. These are Mat's genuine thoughts on the product after using the headphones for about two weeks. They’re CLEARLY a Sony knockoff… from the model name to the copper accents to the case. It frankly makes me have a lesser opinion of Edifer, and I have a pair of their powered bookshelf speakers.

Those Sony headphones often go on sale for ~£220. Sony did wreck the noise cancelling on the XM3s and didn't ever fix it.🤬

Should review the Sony headphones they're copying, which often go on sale.
Microsoft needs to fix the Bluetooth latency, it's there regardless of OS/ Bluetooth dongle etc. Luckily my TV supports Bluetooth and is much faster.
