- This is part one of the third battle in the Combat Mission Final Blitzkrieg campaign Kampfgruppe Peiper. December 1944, in a last ditch attempt to stem the Allied thrust towards Germany a counter offensive is launched.
This is a semi historical campaign following Kampfgruppe Peiper under command of SS-Standartenführer Joachim Peiper from the 17th to the 19th of December.
Combat Mission Final Blitzkrieg is one of a series of realistic tactical combat simulations from www.battlefront.com. A wide variety of setting area available from world war 2 (Normandy, Market Garden, Sicily, Italy and the Eastern Front) to modern day fictional conflicts in Syria (Shock Force) and Ukraine (Black Sea)

I remember this mission well, superb map design in this campaign btw. Also, giving so many march orders through the single road leading to town was tedious.
Yet another well constructed and narrated AAR. You were doing so well until the double whammy mines at the end. Looking forward to the continuation of the story as things unfold. P.S. Love your music choices. Very appropriate
It’s a shame the AI doesn’t cancel all move orders passing through x squares of a triggered mine. Would stop multiple units walking into it. You’d hope most units would stop when a mine goes off irl.
A Pzr IV had only recently go through the same entrance, nothing. also I'd sent through a team of Pioneers who had spotted nothing so thought it safe
Great Video. These mines are very unnice. Good job taking the reenforcements in their truck, can,t wait for next part.
I'm really enjoying this series. You paid a high price for not dismounting all of your troops from their half-tracks but, it's all part of the game.
Another great one Double. Tough going at the end. I guess its either mines or bazookas.
