"Why even be a f*cking spider if you're just going to melt into the f*cking floor?"-words to live by.
The spider is gonna have to revaluate it's life choices.
+Hot Dog Of being a spider
_Did I ever tell you about the time me and my buddy Kieth turned into spiders instead of melting into the floor?_
+Root Beer Ellis is that you?
Why be a floor when you can melt a spider.
Maybe I'm unfair, but I would have given this movie 1000 extra sins for that sai throw at the end.
Or at least 100 for each hedge it goes through.
I would've removed 10 for the sheer hilarity of it then immediately added 100 for the sheer bullshit. Then another sin for showing basically the same footage 3 times as it passes through every single freaking hedge.
And it kept on spinning.
In a straight line...
if that sai throw missed i would reset the movie's total sin score to 0
You know it's a bad movie when I'm bored of the Cinema Sins video on it. And that's not a knock against CInema Sins. That's just how bad this movie is.
You beat me to it. Goddamn it was tough to sit thru this. I feel bad for the narrator who sat through this shit movie again! I was one and done!
A agh when back when marble suck ass
the movie is not only bad. It is please set kittens on fire to make me feel like I wittnissed something worse.
How I felt about Star Trek 1 sins video
It was made in 2006, what do you expect? Is just like The Avengers but with less CGI.
Never saw...judging from the sins...I didn't miss out on anything
Agreed.
Agreed
+Couch Tomato I couldn't even finish the video.
+Couch Tomato It's hard to explain but this movie is very uncomfortable to watch. It leaves you with a bad taste after it's over.
+Couch Tomato horrible films, remember the "only ok" daredevil movie...its like that, but with less action and no fun
Teenage mutant ninja turtles was based off of Daredevil and elektra's storylines. daredevil got hit w/ a truck of green radioactive goop(the ooze), was trained by a man named stick(splinter), and they fight the hand(the foot). the parallels don't end there, but i am too lazy to write all of them.
I never noticed lol
Nerd sync ?
+Joe _Peshy The original comic for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and their origin within, was set off the origin of Daredevil. The goop from the truck leaking down to the sewers where splinter and the turtles were covered with the ooze. It was a reference to how he got his powers from the same incident that took his eye-sight.
+Joe _Peshy I think he made that reference on purpose, hence the Turtle joke
+Joe _Peshy ru for real? holy shit had no idea.
That sai toss at the end is worth enough sins to make the total number immeasurable.
When i 1st saw that scene i thought my DVD had looped a moment..
then i realised i was watching it on T.V !...
and i thought THEIR DVD musta looped a moment.. that was jus...too long, through too many hedges !
Cut to years later... watching it again (No, i don't know why either!)...
"Holy kung fu chopping tentacles of Cthulhu ! That scene is actually that fucked up!!!"
+Thomas Carnacki The laziness of the writing is enough to power the entire world for 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 eternities.
20000k for reading at a college level and being in algebra 1
Send in The Punisher
The one thing that is RIGHT about the Elektra movie - Jennifer Garner's body in that red outfit. Say what you want, but of all the women that have played superheroes, Jennifer Garner is by far the only one with an athletic enough build to appear believable. While Lynda Carter, Scarlett Johansson, Helen Slater, Charlize Theron, and Gal Gadot were/are gorgeous, none of them looked/look athletic enough to where they looked like they could kick ass. They all just look/looked like beautiful model types that were doing cosplay. Jennifer Garner was the only actress who had that perfect balance of a fit looking physique, along with feminine beauty, where she could handle both the glamour and the physicality of the role believably. Its sad that she wasn't in a better superhero film.
Couldn't agree more with this! When she removed her robe in the movie I eeped so hard!
SOOOOOO TRUE like she is FIT
+Drake Santiago Thank you! Very few women in action/superhero movies actually look like they're able to kick ass. They just use hot women with twig arms to sell tickets perpetuating a negative stereotype about female action movie stars while their male counterparts actually look the part. I wish Gina Carano could actually act. She actually has the physique and skills needed to be a believable female action star.
+DHScherocha your standards for muscle is quite low. Wonder woman looked like she could take down someone...? nah. she has no defined muscle.... wha... no...
she looking nice? yes (͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) still scremed in the theater when i saw her. looking like a muscular super woman... no
+TheWipal Hell, Gal Gadot is a trained soldier. She served 2 years in the Israeli army.
Did the scene where she threw the knife piss anyone else off?
Yes, so fucking much
+Silas Gates There are no words for that fuckery
Dude, if I were Jeremy, I would've added 50 sins. Surprised he didn't. I mean, shouldn't the knife have lost momentum and just fell?
David Pottinger
Same I was really hoping for a +10 atleast
+Silas Gates Right? I mean, seriously? This movie actually tries to tell me that the sai didn't even hit one branch? Not one?
10:30 -- "I always knew your heart was pure..." -- So I ate it with some fava beans and a nice chianti.
Nice mashup!
Mmmmmmmm potatoes.
jamespfp
Lol
Sllllluuuuurrrrrpppp
Hannibal Lecter, is that you?
Man, that scene at 11:55 was worth at least 100 sins.
+Cazé Nunes Yep, that was bare shit. That is not possible whatsoever.
A knife that flings that distance through at least TEN hedges and still kills her with pinpoint accuracy? She would have to have hulk like strength and be a supercomputer to pull off that shi*.
+Alex Leonce I'm not even in the "possible" realm, cause FFS, the whole movie has impossible physics. That's just straightforward ridiculous bullcrap.
Cazé Nunes Thank god I didn't watch this.
+Alex Leonce Don't get me wrong, some movies are awesome in its ridiculousness. Take Wanted, for instance. The whole premise and specially the ending are so much bullshit (without spoiling it too much), but the movie allows itself to do so, cause it doesn't take itself too seriously. Watch this one instead, if you haven't already.
I'm surprised you didn't sin the movie's name:
The E is written like the Greek letter sigma, which is actually the Greek letter for the S sound
And the A is written like the Greek letter Lambda, which is the Greek letter for the L sound
So instead of ELEKTRA, the movie is actually named SLSKTRL
3:51 Oops ! Spoke too soon 😅
+John Doe This made me burst into a fit of giggles. Thank you kind person.
...but they did sin that. He brought it up when talking about the necklace at 3:48
I spent so long (3 minutes) waiting for that.
SLSKTRL
That Sai toss at the end. What the actual fuck. I'd call bullshit even if this were Hawkeye and Bullseye fused together.
However if this were Electra fused with HawkBullseye I could see this being a possible feat.
+Kugrox - HawkBullEktra? Wait... HawkBullEktrEye.. Yeah.
+2 internets.
+Joe Shopper BullHawkElecteye
I would still not believe that sai toss even with a hybrid of Elektra, Hawkeye, and Bullseye. You need to add Deadshot as well.
In that case, I think the name should just be DeadBull.
She was using hacks man, I swear.
11:55 that is the worst fucking thing I've seen in my life.
+Ruler3995 yup!!!
+Ruler3995 It's so bad
+Ruler3995 - It's certainly one of the worst things I've seen. But have you seen the basketball sequence in Halle Berry's Catwoman. * Shudders.
Anton K yeah, I've been spared that movie for the most part. I'm sorry for your loss though...
Hey Lea/Axel
Wait. So if she gets hired does that make it a "Hand Job?"
Wait, there was an Elektra movie?
Also, that last knife throw needed at least 50 sins, I call ultimate bullshit on that.
+Samuel K. Addai that knife throw should have gained enough sins for the counter to read infinity and I am not exaggerating
Who else is just waiting for an "Everything Wrong With ZOOTOPIA"?
Me
Kind of.
"That's racists"x1000
+Finn El Humano yep
+ZAMination Productions Or *pffff* Zootropolis
You can pick out all these things and I'm still struggling between my left and right
+olirodwell :)
Implying that 'left and right' are key requisites for picking apart mistakes in films for comedic purposes.
+Lyrion Tannister Yeah! Listen to that other guy that cleverly has the same user name and avatar as you and just leave him alone.
+My last display name was too long Hey, don't you go telling other people what to do!
+My last display name was too long Ok is this becoming a thing now ? Because it looks like it is.
Many years ago I was flying from Cleveland to London on United, and ELEKTRA was the only movie playing the entire flight (this was before we had in-seat entertainment available, so everyone saw the same movie and could not turn it off). Thanks for reliving that nightmare for me.
I miss when Cinema Sins used to start some of the really bad movies with "This film exists, _bing_"
0:06 - Greek does not work that way. Your combination of Greek and Roman just named your character "SLSKAFRL". _ding!_
3:49 - CS points out their Greek fail. Sin on me for premature sinification. _ding!_
@@GamerFromJump hahahahaha
The Foot in TMNT is a play off of the Hand in Marvel since Daredevil and TMNT are in the same universe. The chemical that made Daredevil blind also made the TMNT. Master Splinter is a play off of Daredevil's sensei, Stick.
Lol you've gotta be kidding.
slvrcobra1337 I'm not.
D McDowell well, that's interesting. But Daredevil doesn't take place in NYC does it?
slvrcobra1337 Yes it does, in the comics at least.
D McDowell Oh. For some weird reason I thought it was in Detroit or Chicago or some crap lol
everything wrong with the mummy
Yes
+macdaddyv I mean they'd be perfect!
+macdaddyv nah, its a nice campy and self aware film. Doing an everything wrong with it is redundant.
first one was good. the bad one was tomb of the Dragon emperor
+macdaddyv The Mummy is a perfect film
Had you just said, "everything," it would have saved you 13 minutes.
Hey I was about to say the same thing 😂 lol
+That Lovely Bitch
This is legit one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I remember being so bored through the whole thing.
So...she can do all that...but get's her ass kicked by Bullseye in "The movie that must not be named"? I call so much bullshit on that.
Hey, Bullseye is no joke! That seen is taken from Dare Devil comic #172 I think. I have it but not really sure on the issue #.
John Shaw oh i know bullseye is no joke in the comics, he's cool in the comics, but the the movie he comes off as the Joker but less crazy. In this movie Electra is shown to be so OP that her defeat in Dare Devil seems stupid.
Shad0wWatcher Okay, your right! The comic book fight was more detail than the movie fight!
Ok this movie takes place after that one though. She was resurrected and received training so yeah it does make sense that she was weaker when she fought bullseye in the movies. In the comics it's very different though.
OMG just read the comics, after her various deaths she gets stronger and stronger, one time by the chaste and another time by the hand, in the comics she comes back and kills Bulleyes
The TMNT's Foot clan was in fact inspired by The Hand. In fact there are a lot of things related in both DD and the TMNT origin stories.
Great video as usual.
+Clarence Dass
Like how they both got their powers from the same chemical spill.
Here are Eleven more:
1 No explanation is given as to how the hell Stick brought Elektra back to
life other than "martial arts magic." What is required for one to master this technique? You'll see why this question is important further down.
2 No explanation is given as to why Elektra never returned to Hell's Kitchen to let Daredevil know she's alive again. I mean there was a deleted scene involving Daredevil but it was just another dream sequence and all we get from it is that she not ready for some unknown reason.
3 Elektra's OCD was never set up in Daredevil and since this is a sequel/spin off to Daredevil, the OCD feels like it was just thrown in.
4 Other than being fast, agile, and able to balance a quarter on his finger, Kinkou (the smaller black dude) has no special powers. He is grossly out-shown by the other members of the gang and isn't even featured in many of the posters or the DVD special features. They could have made him the Black Widow or Hawkeye of the group but nope, he's just a throw away guy.
5 Elektra's friendly sparring match with Abbey ends with Abbey crying because the Hand is after her and she's feeling the pressure. Why have her break into tears now of all times?
6 Elektra is somehow able to communicate with Kirigi using some sort of spell or magical ritual. Do I really need to say it?
7 Kirigi (the main villain) is revealed to have been the assassin who killed Elektra's mother when Elektra was a child, and yet Elektra and Kirigi appear to be roughly the same age, in fact he could be younger. Last I checked these guys aren't vampires. If eternal youth is one of their powers then why are Stick and Kirigi's dad old?
8 Typhoid decides to kill Abbey out of jealousy because she used to be "the treasure" and feels like she is being replaced. There has been no character development to set this up.
9 Elektra brings Abbey back to life using the same magical technique Stick used on her, despite the fact that, as far as we know, Elektra has had no training in this ability other than hand placement. If Elektra did know more you would think she would spent more time perfecting it, that way she could make millions saving lives, instead she decided to pursue the opposite career. She could have at least perfected it in her spare time with the intention of using to to make up for all the people she's killed, but nope.
10 Elektra's "relationship" with Mark Miller goes no where does nothing to further the plot of the story.
11 Elektra's overall body count is an unimpressive 6. No, I'm not counting the group of ninjas she blew up in the kitchen. It was impressive but come on. Would you watch a Wolverine movie to see him blow people up with bombs? No. You want to see him stab and slash people. Same principal applies to Elektra. At least in Netflix's Daredevil they gave her a somewhat legitimate reason for not having a large body count and they still had her beat up a lot of people to make up for it.
For number 9; look at "Avatar: The Last Airbender" animation show - Aang however obtained Bendbender and had no training for it, yet he ripped one bend power out of the antagonist's head like a boss.
Missed a sin. When Electra throws her sai through the bushes, in one part it is spinning parallel to the ground. After it shears through one bush, it spins vertically until it meets its target.
+David Alan Gay Some more definite bullshit. >ding
No no, it didn't just met its target. It met the target's eye XD
lol, as if going through the pushes and changing the sai rotations wasn't enough.
The Foot form TMNT based on The Hand So does not really Sin
+MrZiv742 I give him points because TMNT's Foot is more mainstream knowledge now adays so he probably didn't know that. However, it's still not a sin. The sin is for The Hand being a stupid name.
+MrZiv742 I second this comment.
+Juan Sarmiento plays the pronoun game so i have to ask who "he" is.
*DING*
+Zach Gamemaster It really isn't that bad of a name. They're called The Hand because they act as the hand of a greater power(The Black Sky)... An example is in Star Wars, the title of "The Emperor's Hand".
+MrZiv742 You must be new here.
you didn't sin wasting the talents of Jason Issacs on "random prologue bad guy"?? I mean come on!! where was the "They dragged poor Jason Issacs into this didn't they?" ???
I second this notion, now hand me the lotion
+Conor Murphy I fourth this one, now there's no fun
+Edward Teach Let me be the fifth, since im not a sith
Let me be the sixth in the ballot, seriously a waste of talent
I'm the seventh on this tally, now let's make it a rally.
11:55 Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding...
TMNT was started as a parody of Daredevil, where the Elekra character comes from. So the Foot Clan are take on The Hand.
i just love it how in the intro in greek it rights σλσκτλ and not ελεκτρα
I only just noticed the sigmas
+dFs Gsf *writes.
+dFs Gsf For some weird reason, it's really popular in Western culture to misuse Greek letters.
As a Greek, I was about to state the same when I saw your comment. Dear Americans: Σ is S not Ε, Λ is L not Α
also the greek R is Ρ So the correct english pronunciation with greek letters would be ΕΛΕΚΤΡΑ but in Greek we pronounce it differently so the name written correctly in greek is ΗΛΕΚΤΡΑ (ILEKTRA).
5:47 "Jermey doesn't know the differance between a compownd bow and a crossbow." DING
after daredevil i didn't even bother watching this movie.
After Daredevil i could barely watch Arrow!
Marvel do things right, and Shuri: FUCK DC
+Gmaniac01 pretty sure he means Daredevil the movie
+Gmaniac01 They are definitely referring to the Ben Afleck Dare Devil movie. :P
+Andrew Marks Daredevil was watchable. It belonged in the 90s, sure, but 2003, 90s, close enough. Elektra was another level of bad though.
+1 That's not a crossbow.
-2 Sins for Tenacious D references.
+Khaymen Brock He made the same mistake in another video.
+Jacob Underwood I think I remember it.
this
+Khaymen Brock The fact that it was just a regular bow is irrelevent to the sin. A crossbow was said merely to give a point of reference. "Why would you hire a kung fu bad ass if they're just going to shoot the person?"
One other super major sin. The Hand didn't give Elektra the name/picture of her target right away. If they had, she wouldn't have had Christmas dinner with them and then wouldn't have hesitated killing them. So the whole plot is an idiot move by a very methodical and detail-oriented organization. *ding*
I know this movie is honestly pretty damn bad, but it has always been a guilty pleasure fun movie for me, ever since first seeing it. Idk why, but I actually enjoy it every time I rewatch it, fully aware of and acknowledging its many flaws, inconsistencies and in general shittiness lol. It was and still is my absolute favorite of the "prototype era" (meaning beginning around X-Men 1 and ending around the time of Iron Man 1 or so) of Marvel/DC movies (Original X-Men Trilogy, Blade, Daredevil, Elektra, Original (shitty) Spiderman Trilogy, Superman Returns and the like)... anyone else out there feel the same about this amazingly bad, yet amazingly awesome movie, lol?
Justin Yatsko I fucking hated this movie..... And the director cut doesn't even help at all! Plus this movie is dying for a fan edit!
I would had agreed on you...but you disgraced Reimi's Trilogy and that's a sin on itself.
still worser than mcu phase 2,4,5
No matter how imperfect or bullshit this movie is. I still love it, we used to play this in the olden days with my cousins, my grandpa even made me a sai made out of bamboo stick. it's a part of my childhood and After all, there is no perfect movie☺️ I so sad to look back how far I've grown🥺
Mutant Turtles came after Daredevil. In fact, Ninja Turtles was a parody of Daredevil, with the Foot parodying The Hand
Hi i dont get sarcasm either its so cool there are so many of us who watch this channel
+D-Brothers Entertainment If you are going my film/TV the Daredevil film came out in 2003. The Turtles started back in 1987. Which I bet CS went by.
But in all truth that you have pointed out - By comics, yes Daredevil was started in the 1930s were as the Turtles 1984.
Michelle .H Not to rude, but why would I be talking about the movies?
'Sounds kind of Teenage-Mutant-Ninja-Turtley'
Actually that's ironic. The Foot was named in the comic because it was a PARODY of stupid names like The Hand!
Actually enjoyed the Elektra movie. Also enjoyed the Daredevil movie.
Are you... real?
+Cazé Nunes it can't be...I'm scared
What is like to be a totally uninteresting person?
+RiDaku well considering the Directors Cut of Daredevil is actually amazing, so I would understand that, but for Elektra and the theatrical Daredevil, i dont
I enjoyed daredevil 2003 too, and the punisher movie isn't bad either. Constantine and v for vendetta are alright.
tbh, i always had a good time with these older superhero movies. even when they were bad you can tell that they tried. the movie still feels complete and is a professional package. you didnt get bullshit like green lantern and fan4stic.
I was supposed to watch this whole damn thing. Now I can just watch 13 minutes of it with Jeremy's heavenly voice and be done with it. Bless you CinemaSins.
Wait, they made a movie about the chick that got her ass kicked by the Irish ham with a target on his head?
She also died............just putting that out there
+Neo Machine Aparently so. Idk how is this related to Daredevil, maybe it doesnt relates...
+Guilherme Almeida You don't know how this is related to Daredevil? Did you ever see Daredevil.... Or learn how to use Google?
+Guilherme Almeida in the comics she gets "reborn" by the hand, this film is set after daredevil but they CBA explaining that
That Irish ham is extremely hard to kill.
Keep in mind that TMNT parodies some stuff from Daredevil. TMNT's "the foot" are a parody of Daredevil's ninja group, "the hand"
Thank god for Elodie Young's Elektra
So where is this movie set? Is Elektra Asian? What the heck is this movie??? I'm so confused
you should be
Elektra is Greek
Kim Kardasim Ohhhhh
+Kim Kardasim Yeah and we all know Greeks are all excellent ninjas :D
+No Madge I'm confused as to why people keep using the Greek letter sigma as an E when it is where S came from. Therefore, according to the opening, the movie is Slsktra
"Motherless daughter" = mother died when she was very young and raised without her presence. Therefore... not impossible.
I was definitely expecting a Mortal Kombat reference at the end since the actor who played Shang Tsung was in this....also was maybe expecting a Stick or Elektra reference from the Netflix Daredevil series....
I once watched Green Lantern, Daredevil and Elektra in one Evening in this order. This one was clearly the worst of them. I actually kinda liked the other two.
I like Daredevil and Green Lantern! Are they perfect films? Not at all. But they are definitely not horrible!
+MCMonsterbuilder Oh my gosh, are you okay?!
Mary Whipple Most people would deny that, but yeah I'm okay, I guess.
+barbaro267 Daredevil is a great comedy.
I don't see anyone mentioning this so~
Elektra uses a Compound Bow not a Crossbow. +5 sins for CinemaSins
Saw the movie when I was little. I remember laughing the whole time watching the movie because it was too ridiculous
Hahaha Tenacious D will kill this demon with the greatest song in the world. The best.
10:20, I fukken died. 😂
"Roll credits. Can I go home now? I can't? Shit!" I love cinemasins so damn much lmao
Thank you cinema sins for watching this fully so I don't have to.
They have suffered so very much.
You were so much cuter 4 years ago
Ninja Turtles Foot Soldiers are actually parodied from The Hand. just like Ninja Turtles are a fun thing made inspired by, and mirrored Daredevil.
+ploidz Glad somebody knows their stuff around here. Even Splinter was meant to be a parody of Daredevil's "Stick".
Yeah, some of the reasons he gave were usually embarrassing. Mysticism should be in a movie about The Hand and Electra. Greek letters wasn't out of place, etc. He's going to have big problems with Dr. Strange.
+ploidz But he sinned the simple fact that the Greek letters were plain wrong, didn't he? And since neither the girl nor the movie is named "SLSKTRL", well... (For the curious - The right spelling would be ΕΛΕΚΤΡΑ)
When he mentioned the Greek letters were wrong he kind of saved that sin. He started off with, "why are Greek letters in a movie about Asia, and martial arts" or something like that.
plot twist: The whole movie was a bad LSD trip
plot twist: This was the bad dream that the Netflix Daredevil had, along with the 2003 movie.
Honesty can't be a plot twist though...
This Movie exists. "Ding"
love the tenacious D reference
Sin 38: I legitimately think she was going for the girl's head (when she ran by) and it was luck that the girl also had her arm up for the box cutter to snag instead.
Are we getting possibly Captain America 1990 (another bad superhero movie) on Thursday, since Civil War is coming out this weekend?
daredevil
not for me i will see it in some hours
+Hamza Naeem He already did Daredevil.
Civil War wasn't as good as I thought it was gonna be
Molag Baller But he has to wait till it's on home video before he can do an EWW video on it.
You were actually gentle. I was expecting a bonus round.
I'm glad one of the few references I get from the end of your videos was the Kill Bill audio used at 13:02, even when I don't know the language
Wait... This movie had nothing to do with Daredevil whatsoever? Was it meant to be like an Elektra prequel?
+Yung Reggie You are so simple minded. No wonder you like Marvel's garbage
500 Phenom Da fuck are you talking about? I haven't even seen this movie. Are you high? Your comment made no sense.
+Yung Reggie
I'm not sure even Marvel knew what this movie was.
***** I just don't understand how they could release Daredevil, and then make an Elektra movie that doesn't even mention him lol
The Daredevil movie wasn't great but I'm pretty sure it was much better than this. This doesn't even look like a comic book movie.
*****
Daredevil is a masterpiece compared to this. I have a soft spot for Daredevil though, as he's my favorite hero and I blame the problems on the movie solely on the 'brains' behind it, with the actors doing their best to carry the turd they were given.
But yeah, Daredevil had them meet up for the first time in his film, yet they've been intertwined for years, even before he donned the suit so...they couldn't really put him in her 'origin' movie, as it'd further shit on the Daredevil film's continuity.
The Foot were created as a parody of the Hand. THAT's why they have similar names.
Hi i also dont understand sarcasm
+Oddball Skull
?
Celestial Salamander hes aware of that. That was the joke. He researches all this shit b4 and during his satire. If its obvious to you then why wouldn't be to him or do you really think hes that stupid. God damn
+Oddball Skull
Then they should not have sinned it.
You don't know by this point? These sins aren't legitimate, some of them are for jokes.
I actually liked this movie, probably because I saw it when I was like 10, but I swear this was one of the funniest sins video I've seen. I laughed like 40 times.
12:08 Some definite bullshit. lol
"...and I'm doing algebra 1 on my own." So you're just doing math at a grade 8 level and since you're in grade 8 this isn't impressive.
Yeah and college level reading isn't that difficult for a 13 year old
+Skyebright1 Was at college level in 6th grade and kept it that way till graduation, while math was always at the same grade level, always thought i was special cause of it, till i realized i was only praised so much about it because the other students were fucking horrible at it
Now if it was the other way around that would be fucking impressive for a 13
Uh, some of us took Alg1 as freshmen...
Davey Reetz agree college level maths I'd be impressed but she just sounds like where she should be intellectually
Isn't that Discount Hawkeye from The Wolverine?
3:17 Yes. Jennifer Garner is my celebrity crush.
+Stephen Staver Alexandra Daddario all the way
Danny Devito ftw
For a woman it's Evie-Eve and for a man it's Bobby Moynihan for this dude!!!! ^_^
I forgot how terrible this movie was. And I recognized that it was terrible when I was like, six.
Brendan Larsen
I was 15
And the problems started showing themselves the more time went on
Can't believe he didn't do the MP Holy Grail thing for that last sai throw. What the hell, Jeremy?
So glad Daredevil Season Two happened to make Elektra badass like she SHOULD BE!!!!
Elodie Young did a terrific job playing Elektra.
Is this movie as confusing as the video presents it?
+jd johnson kind of
+jd johnson The movie isn't confusing at all - at every single moment of it, you will always be certain that what is happening on screen makes no sense, no room for being confused.
+jd johnson There's no doubt that this movie is a little incoherent at times, but it's not as bad as it's made out to be. Some of the stuff goes unexplained, it has it's early 2,000's cheese, but it does build a strong character and presents some interesting ideas with it's villains. Of all the shitty early 2,000's comic book movies, this is actually tied with the first Blade film for my favorite.
+Afro Thundar dude this movie was worse than daredevil
+Hayes Maki Maybe it is, but it didn't have a weird flirty dance/fight in a playground in the middle of the day, and it didn't have an Evanescence-backed sandbag training montage. Elektra definitely isn't a good movie, but for me it's easier to enjoy for what it was, as opposed to 'Daredevil' or 'Ghost Rider', which are properties that had way more potential.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is actually a parody of Daredevil, the turtles getting their powers from radioactive liquid spilled on them down a drain after a car accident, supposedly the same stuff that got in Matt Murdock's eyes, giving him his powers. "The Foot" from TMNT is also a parody of "The Hand" from Daredevil and various other marvel comics
"It may be fought on a grand scale, or within the heart of a single individual, depending on initial budget and the U.S. domestic gross of the previous film"
I am so glad I didn't watch that movie after seeing the playground scene from Daredevil...
I forgot this movie existed until today. Anyone else agree?
i was at algebra when i was thirteen i was only a year ahead ?? why is she bragging lmao
+emo bird agreed. I was taking algebra at 13 (just turned 14) and that's only because I was skipped. Reading at college levels... not too hard if you love reading. Algebra at 13? Stop gassing it...
Was really hoping this was "Everything Wrong With Elektra" from the second season of Daredevil. Should have realized it couldn't be that in only 13 minutes.
1:53 WOA WOA WOA!... is that an Asian Silvester Stallone
I've actually seen this movie over a hundred times. It was one of the only movies we could ever agree to watch together on family movie nights.
It's still better than Affleck's Daredevil.
Props to you Jeremy for reading the title as Slsktrl! 😂 it was the first thing I thought at the beginning of your video aswell
Please sin tron
And Tron: Legacy
wolfy Yes that one.
I found this movie... Elektrafying
Ok I'll stop now...
Ba Dum Tish.
I'm so glad you mentioned Tenacious D! When I saw that thumbnail I prayed!
Contrary to DAREDEVIL I was quite entertained by this movie. It was good :).
+Lofote why? DD was pretty good.
Juan Alejos It was over when it just began. A short fight and the movie was over. It
Of course that is only my opinion :)...
+Lofote hi
Lofote
i loved, granted i hadnt seen it in a while. but i love theaction scenes and how matt is an actual superhero in this one instead of a guy in a mask like in the new series. i like the new series thogh.
+Juan Alejos dude i thought i was the only one who liked that movie?? i actually watched it a couple of times while i found Elektra to be suuuuch a stupid movie (and i was excited for it since i liked DD) it tries too hard to be serious.
That's not a crossbow.
Ding
+Max Stirner Crossbows are spooks
Joseph Ware
No, crossbows have corporeality, they are physical/inanimate objects.
Physicality is a spook
Joseph Ware
Nope.
1. Didn't know this movie existed
2. Great job with the title card movie!
I'd love to see a TMNT/Daredevil crossover movie since Eastman & Laird were inspired by Daredevil. But not the current Michael Bay turtles and the Daredevil on netflix. It just wouldn't blend.
+MrDman21 The Comics love to Mash up Batman & TMNT though
true.
xKingx16
I just watched Elektra, and it wasn't that bad, to me.
That Sai throw at the end... absolutely cracked me up... you killed it with the long pause before ‘some definite bullshit!’ 😂😂
Everything Wrong with Deadpool please!!!
+MrFedoraFilm Nothing is wrong with Deadpool -_-
riskbusin3ss I know. But as a funny gag like the Honest Trailer for Deadpool.
+riskbusin3ss go to the honest trailer they did deadpool
everything wrong with Mrfedorafilm please. its gonna be awesome.
"my forces will not be defeated by a mere woman"
"that's racist!"
what??? how??
joke
Running joke throughout the series. Any form of discrimination/exclusion = "That's racist". If a scene depicts actual racism, sometimes he'll change it to "That really is racist".
+Jay Amin Are you new here? That's a common joke on these videos - someone says something sexist or otherwise offensive - at least one that was even directed at animals - and he says "That's racist." Even though it's not actually racist but is some other -ist. It's a joooooooooke.
That a woman cant do shit :)
+zlinedavid I don't think he was questioning whether it was racist in the actual definition of the word.
I agree with everything you said in the video except the part with the necklace and the title. The necklace is written in New Greek and the title at the begging in ancient Greek, back then some letters were written in different way. The ancient E=Σ and the Σ=S
The sais were knives. Sais AREN'T knives. They're blunt instruments repurposed from farming gear for trapping and countering bladed weapons. Hell, they don't even have a point. [Ding!!]
Also, a box knife won't stick in a wall if you throw it. It is also impossible to throw one like that, as it isn't balanced for flight. [Ding!!]
+Peter Blease You could put a point on your sais if you wanted, you could also lean to throw a box cutter. But my question is, why you think thats worth mentioning with all the other ludicrousy in this movie
jeremy mcadam A sin is still a sin. Though my point about a boxcutter is that even if it were something with the right balance for throwing, its weight, coupled with its blade shape and sharpness would not allow it to stay embedded in a wall. The blade would break or it would fall out due to its weight, if it stayed in at all. It definitely couldn't pin someone in place.
How 'bout Judge Dredd from 1995? I think there's a sin or 2 in there!
+gunnsb1azin Or what about 2011's Dredd?
Props for mentioning the Omega 13 from "Galaxy Quest" 10/10.
*God. . this just reminded me how bad this movie was, i knew it was shit on a stick, but good lord watching the clips all over again right now makes me cringe*
Bob Sapp was in this!?
+BaconlessGod Bob sapp did a lot of thing for money
