The only reason i very rarely wear Interlude is that is so strong it can choke you up easily. Even with one spray. So i honestly can't imagine a stronger version.
I love Black Iris. It performs quite well, just as Interlude does, but I wouldn’t call it beast mode. Then again, it’s hard for me to decipher beast mode because I spray accordingly based on strength, some require less sprays based on the ingredients. Interlude having the oregano, bergamot, and pepper help the fragrance jump off my skin more, and the smokey Incense helps the silage linger for longer. Considering it’s a unique smelling fragrance it becomes more noticeable to myself as well as others rather then blending in with the environment after a while, unless I was at a bonfire or something in the likes of. I own many strong fragrances so they sit nicely in my collection without considering them beast mode.
Nice review. For me, the longer maturation and maceration resulted in a different scent profile in comparison to the original as I felt that the leather note is more visible in this version right from the beginning.

Aged? Interesting. What an interesting concept. Would you be willing to do a video to talk more about the benefits to aging perfume? Is it a normal part of the manufacturing? I thought perfume starts to degrade with age...

What is the massive overpowering first smell you get from this fragrance? It is so powerful and strong, I had to take a shower and then use kitchen cleaner on my wrists to try and get rid. I think it's actually stained my soul.....

Its the big boy version of interlude. And interlude is the big boy version of everything else out there. Longevity is CRUSHING interlude rn. Like it was just sprayed and im 2 hours in. Its really shocking. I was so nervous seeing ppl say it doesn't do as well as interlude..... I just really disagree. This is my new champ. Taking interlude man out of the top spot.

It's long lasting but it's not as beefy as the new one.
