    After 12 days of testimony, it appears the defense attorney is going to hang his hat on a thunderstorm that occurred early in the morning of 5/24/19. He's going to say that Michelle was in her daughter's room for the remainder of the night, and when she woke up Fotis was already gone. Therefore, Michelle couldn't possibly know what his plans were or where he went. Only problem with that defense is that according to morning testimony on1/30/24, the state police testified that Jennifer and Fotis were brought to the state police barracks on 5/31/19 for questioning and informed why they were there. So, if Michelle knew on 5/31/19, that Jennifer was missing and bloody evidence was found, why would she continue to try and provide cover for Fotis during her 2nd police interview on 06/02/19. To me that is the pure definition of hindering prosecution. She was advised that it would be her only opportunity to provide any pertinent information, and not be considered a suspect. And if you watch the interview video , she talks in circles, tells nonsensical, irrelevant stories, but never directly addresses the questions being asked. To me that is a willful act of muddying the waters, and preventing police from garnering any valuable evidence. And if she was in the truck while he was dumping bloody clothes ( and possibly body parts) at numerous stops, she is not an innocent by-stander, but rather an accomplice. Her attorney is certainly welcome to try and elicit a sympathy vote from the jury, but this trial isn't about emotions, and it's not about Fotis Dulos either. It's about Ms. Troconis being a first hand eyewitness to Mr. Dulos's actions the day of, and the days following his estranged wife's disappearance. And her failure to promptly report all she knew and observed to police.And it doesn't matter that she might have felt pressure from, or was being directed by Mr. Dulos, at the end of the day she's an independent adult , and has a responsibility to do the right thing. The fact that she consciously chose not to, is the reason for the charges and potentilal punishment. I'll also add that I feel she is being poorly served by her attorney. His constant objections to irrefutable evidence should embarass any one associated with his law firm.

I would think being told by a bunch police that the guy she loved and was involved with was a total stranger and killer, and that she too was being accused, would be extremely confusing and hard to wrap her head around. Is it a crime to not report a crime? Did she have a duty? Just playing devils advocate

    • @user-pq9vh4rk1v
      @user-pq9vh4rk1v 4 месяца назад

      @@monivecc2982 possible she was scared , but she's an educated woman, or so the claim is, so she should understand guilt by association. If she's living in a home where the other resident is the primary suspect of a murder, she can't feign ignorance. Interesting that the police had to step in and put her in lockup to protect her from Fotis as it didn't appear she had sense enough to get out of the house on her own. I'm just not buying the "innocent waif" act. If anything the employee said about the comments Michelle made is true, then she's isn't as understanding and compassionate as her attorney claims she is. And I'm having trouble excusing her from the ride on Albany Ave to dump evidence, and accompanying Fotis while he had the employee's vehicle washed and detailed to destroy evidence. And her first two police interviews, she was not truthful and lied about Fotis being home until almost 7:00 am on the morning of 5/24/19. Doesn't matter whether he told her to lie, or she felt scared, in the end she made the decision to lie for him, or what prosecutors term "hindering prosecution".

    When one of your defense strategies is to impeach weather websites relied upon by law enforcement during their investigation, it’s time to consider hiring another defense attorney . . . or try to get a plea bargain. MT is not believable. She definitely lied & was trying to keep her story straight and provide FD with an alibi for especially the morning of the 24th. She provided oddly specific details such as phone call at 12:59a. Her story has had plenty of inconsistencies. For example, she said she went to her daughter's room and left her phone behind in her room & slept in daughter's room. She then said alarm went off at 6:40 and she woke and then Fotis. But how did she hear it from a different room? I am sure FD likely was part of instructing her on what to say or even to do (go places & save receipts for example) to create an alibi. But she at the very least knew he was up to or had done something. If she somehow didn't realize until JD was missing that something was off, she sure as heck knew then. And when she was questioned. And again, she was NOT honest & repeatedly changed her account. She is highly suspicious. And by the way, she said that Starbucks sandwich was disgusting & they threw it out. Yet we saw her pick it up and hand it to FD who began eating & walked out holding. Interesting. This Mr. S defense attorney is definitely trying to play the doubt card, but I hope the jury is paying close attention.

    • @fernandaolivares7926
      @fernandaolivares7926 4 месяца назад

      Good catch on the alarm, although later she says something about her daughter's alarm...her testimony is all over the place...The incoming calls do check and she did have lunch with Fotis from 1 to 2pm.
      But here is the thing, on interview 2, she talks for 2 hours of the places Jennifer could be, she cries AGAIN at the realization of putting her daughter with someone capable of killing, she is horrified...and then she says she believes in her heart Jennifer is still alive and hiding! Of course only to later say again she believed Fotis killed her....
      She also later changes her story about Foti's phone, in interview 2 she never saw it, in interview 3 she answered it...she is a mess.
      I think:
      1. She has been HUGLEY conditioned, to the point of confusing reality with the stories fed to her.
      2. She is simply not a smart woman at all.
      I think she covered for Fotis for both of these reasons, not because she thought she was covering a murder.

This woman probably believed anything he said and probably did not question much of his actions even thought she must have seen some red flags about BF like lying to her about some issues with ex wife but she decided to have a blind eye because she loved him and never thought he could turn devil. He used her but I don't think she was there when he killed his wife and don't think she helped cleaning . She was only with him in the truck when he was throwing garbage bags to trash but not ounce she helped , he did it on his own. It’s not normal to scrap gum on a pavement. The bin was right there.

      @@wend5678well here where I come from, sometimes a chewy sticks and you will get rid it it anyway that is quick and yeah then wipe the sticky of your hand as quick as possible. It was perfectly normal and if she was doing anything criminal, then you wouldn’t leave chewy there would you. Your DNA is all over it. Common sense wouldn’t you think ?

      @@stevenprice6957that’s why murderers end up getting caught though because they can’t think of everything to eliminate themselves. And no, I think it’s disgusting to put gum on a pavement, you use a tissue and put it in the bin. There was a bin right there.
