Comment 2 after watching all the video...
Actually that was really interesting and it performed far better than I expected. It was a bit of a janky set-up but still pretty interesting that you can get such an old system to work reasonably well. Good work man :-)

Yeah same! Can’t believe it was actually able to play those games at around 60fps, except for Crysis. This video took a really long time to make, so I really appreciate your support man.

Those old laptops are a nightmare to take apart. You'd think it wouldn't be the case, since back in the day when we had RAM and HDD doors things were supposed to be more upgradable!
Also modern laptops have fewer screws to inevitably lose. So much better.

Yeah for real. I have no idea why they made it so complicated. Literally had to take EVERYTHING apart to access the CPU. My current main laptop literally just requires taking off the bottom, to gain access to all its components, including the CPU. Thanks for watching!

@@LogansTechLab I find the cheaper laptops can still be difficult, but more expensive ones are super easy. My Asus G17 is a breeze! Anyway, look forward to the next video. Really enjoying what you're putting out at the moment.

@Jonathan Ward That’s always a nice bonus! The Asus G17 is a hell of a gaming laptop! Much better than my Acer Nitro 5. I usually use my desktop for gaming though, since it is far more powerful. Out of curiosity, what CPU and GPU config do you have in there? Also I’m so glad to hear you enjoy my content, people enjoying it is what keeps me wanting to make more. Are you gonna water cool your 3080?

@@LogansTechLab In my G17 I have the Ryzen 7 5800H and RTX 3070. Great little laptop and easily powers my full PC set-up too! I have an i7 9700k and 3080 in my desktop. Pretty much pay for most of my PC stuff by repairing and refurbishing laptops and desktops I buy online. Just looking into fully watercooling my desktop as my next project!

@@LeedsRider yeah that is a nice laptop! It even has a 300hz display. You got some serious hardware. About that desktop 3080, were you lucky enough to get your hands on it at MSRP, or did you have to pay out the nose for it to a scalper?
