My Ryzen 3900X got stuck too even after runnning a CPU stress test prior to removing it. It had the factory thermal paste and I ran this CPU for 4+ years. After trying to remove the Wraith Prism from the motherboard the CPU still came off with it and I bent 2 pins. Luckily they didn't snap off and I was able to bend them back in place. I'm glad AMD finally moved away from the PGA.

Nah, I did tried using prime95, it reached above 85C~ and I still couldn't get it off the heatsink :(

When you pull up a heat sink, and then if you just want to put it back on for whatever reason, can you just stick it back on with the old thermal paste? Will the old thermal paste heat up and become soft again after in use?

1. You really have to get that hairdryer up close to get the thermal paste loose. Mine was dried up since I haven't replaced it in like four years. 2. I couldn't get a blade in beteween the CPU and the cooler, so I used a flathead screwdriver to forcibly get leverage. It worked but only do it as a last resort. Maybe you could use some plyers and support/padding to be more gentle, but I was so desparate. 3. I bent the pins prying the two components, so I straightened them back together. Use a magnifying glass and get it as straight as possible. 4. My system was shutting down on repeat after that, but it's because I didn't push the cooler back in all the way, so there was a gap between it and the CPU. After I sorted that out, my PC worked perfectly. Hopefully this helps even just one person. It was a stressful time, but it all worked out. Be gentle and be patient. Don't be like me. I was lucky.

i have these but the keep on breaking at the same spot where the rubber spacer is on the mic side were the headphones twist

this got my fans working but my pump led’s still wont turn on and my system is still shutting down due to overheating - is that due to a broken pin or something and if so will I need to buy a new commander core for the aio?

It just happend and I put it in and the pc turns on but there is no screen, is cpu put in correctly?? Or do I need to do the hairdryier trick??

Hello everyone, I have a huge problem, I wanted to reinstall Windows 10 and I got it wrong in the BIOS disk order and priority settings. To explain from the beginning, knowing that having done a lot of things, I don't remember certain steps precisely: - I arrived on the Windows 10 installation page, when partitioning and launching the installation. A message told me that the disk was not in the correct order. I did it twice and it didn't change. So I went to BIOS - in the BIOS: I changed the order of the boots thinking I was doing the right thing and following a tutorial on an installation, not a reinstallation. Big mistake since an error appeared and I was asked to either repair it or take other actions. So I wanted to repair it. The PC restarted and there was tragedy - the error 0xc000000f was displayed when switching on and to top it off, none of my USB ports work... So I cannot connect a keyboard to activate one of the keys offered. I'm completely lost and desperate... If anyone has a solution please 🙏🏻

A lot of Apple stuff gets more recognition that it deserves due to the brand image. I don't see the market for this product other than Apple cultists because professional users already have had AR devices tailored to their specific needs for some time now (I've had the pleasure of using AR goggles for analyzing bone prostheses in an orthopedics demo a good few years ago), whilst casual users/gamers will preferably pick a VR set that is a fraction of the price. 3500$ is ridiculous and I have no idea who would want to buy something like this in their right mind.
