Is Cyberpunk 2077 For PS4 ACTUALLY Playable These Days??

- It is no secret that Cyberpunk 2077 has been plagued with issues ever since the game's launch back in December 2020. These issues have been especially prevalent on the base PS4, and the base Xbox One. After the issues got all over the news, CD Projekt Red promised to work on improving the state of the game on the older consoles. In this video, I see if 6 months later, the game is actually playable on a base PS4, since it really was not when the game first came out.
I enjoyed this review. Maybe you could do, at some pount, a review of the Outlast games

PS4 will never play this game without pop ins and other streaming problems. The Jaguar CPU cores just can't handle the game. As you said it's a good looking game and behind that a lots of things happening. In the new generation they put strong Zen 2 CPU cores into the systems, which are great for gaming even on PC. Back then AMD didn't have better solution than Jaguar cores and they were bad when the consoles are released, the consoles since 2015 were always CPU limited, but I don't want to trash poor PS4 more. If somebody can afford, buy a PS5, even with compatibility mode it runs smooth and 60 fps and soon the next gen patch will arrive.
Thanks for the insight! Yes definitely, the last gen consoles are totally incapable of proving a good gaming experience in Cyberpunk due to their very outdated hardware. But the next gen consoles will be able to handle the game without breaking a sweat once the next gen upgrade arrives.

They Should of release it on the next gen
I’m pretty sure they will eventually, although it might take a while. Currently, as you are probably aware, it is playable on next gen because of backwards compatibility, and with a much higher frame rate than on last gen, but it would be good to see a next gen upgrade at some point in the near future.
