  • It is time to start talking more about Apple's anti-consumer policies. It might be true that other companies at times do similar things, but Apple is the worst evil of all. Let me tell you about my own experience with the company's products.

You are so right that apple is so corrupt, but it is our system that is more corrupt, and allows apple to do the things it does. If you boycott apple the system allowing those practices will still continue.

do you have the AirPods under warranty? maybe you could fix those and I heard if the MacBook has those types of problems, sometimes they could get you a new one for free although I still bleve that kind of failure is from some apps you have installed cause I have a older 2013 MacBook Air and its just fine

I agree! I'm tired of this as well - 260 for AirPods Pro, ridiculous

    Planned obsolescence.
And it's not just Apple. :<
    This world is f*cked up.

That may be so. The video was not about Apple’s consumer data practices, though.

There is no such thing as protection when all your data is being stored on a company's database.

If you reinstalled the operating system on the Mac and it still didn’t work then I don’t even know what went wrong except forced obsolescence. You should try an older version and re upgrade to the latest to see if it still happens. The AirPods Pro are just really unfortunate. I don’t agree with the anti repair practises though, they’re terrible. My iPhone was a bitch to repair myself and the screen replacement costs are terrible, over 300 bucks from Apple.

I tried that, along with everything else I could think of. I tried older versions of Mac os, newer versions, everything. At first, changing to an earlier version worked. I switched to the version of mac os that the macbook came with, which was Yosemite. Everything worked fine for a while, but eventually, the problem ALWAYS came back. So I would try again, and again, and again, to change to a different operating system, trying every fix I could possibly think of. Still, it eventually got to the point where NOTHING would solve the problem anymore, not going to an older version of mac, not restarting or resetting, absolutely nothing. I installed Linux on there not because I wanted to but because absolutely nothing else worked.
